Fascism is always patriarchal and anti-woman. It is always macho. Domination and intimidation are defining characteristics - and particularly male domination of women. Historically it has often arisen in response to women's rights movements. The Blackshirts in Manchester and Bristol sought to forcibly suppress feminists and advance patriarchal men's rights, with much macho swagger and strutting male privilege.

Interestingly PP is getting criticism from both pro-lifers and pro-choice feminists on this statement, which I think actually says quite a lot.
