Yes, but is that really what you think MNHQ is doing? I think they're walking a fine line between allowing debate and not getting sued!

Hear hear. Women (the biological kind) need a platform. I’ve not seen Posie much on here but have seen her on TV and she’s very reasonable.

I feel torn on this. MN and @Justine have really held a line by allowing this board to stand so I'm LOATHE to criticise them.

And, I don't think PP needs this place anyway, she's built her own platform and thank goodness she did.

However I do miss the richness and wisdom of LangCleg's posts and I think that PP, Maryz and all the others contributed in a way that was formative to my feminism. They, and Magdalen Fucking Berns telling me to "be brave" has influenced me and, though it's taken me a few years to blossom, I'm now a prolific emailer, rabble rouser and meeting goer.

I am grateful to PP and to MN.

I very much doubt KJK/Posie Parker would ever come back here because she's so much bigger than Mumsnet now. (No offence to MN, obvs, but banning her from here was probably one of the best things to happen for GC women in the UK.)

I actually doubt she would return. The various bannings have been calalysts for Posie honing her own unique voice and putting it out there. I have total respect for the way she stands for truth as she sees it. I have met many people who are unable to tell lies through what we might terrm neurodiversity. I think the refusal to state falsehood as you see it is an asset which should lead to better mutual understanding, with people being able to use their words to explain themselves and people being able to agree to disagree with mutual respect. The key here is having a reasonably common consensus as to what words mean. That is Posie's whole campaign.
