Yes, I doubt Posie would want to come back (although she might like the ability to post occasional announcements here) - but there are so many briliant women's voices that I miss.

Thanks to Maya Forstater, the law has been clarified since they were banned. In light of that, please can we have an amnesty?

LangCleg was a knowledgeable and persuasive contributor, who was banned on technicality, like many others.

Due to the ongoing nature of this debate would it be possible for the MN to re-"introduce a wider variety of opinions, imo.

Qow this was a thread I posted on 4 years ago. Im not one of the experts or main fwr people but I've been so enriched by hesring their views and reasoned arguments.

I didnt realise maryz and LangCleg had been banned too 😞. Surely the culture has changed now and we can be more open (stonewall has been challenged, Maya etc EHRC ) and we could qelcome them back. Even if they dont want to the gesture would be there?

A permanent ban anyway is a bit hardcore isnt it!?

Just thinking about this, around the time Posie was banned women here would routinely use he for men and get deleted. Then MN came up with the rule that it was only allowed if a person was a seriously dangerous criminal.

I don't think I see it at all now. Everyone still here either pathetically capitulates and call men 'she', or they do the same as me and use names/initials and occasionally 'they' to avoid being banned.

I don't think it is mean or cruel to correctly sex a man in my language. Not when those men want to infiltrate spaces that are for women, not men.

It would right a wrong if she was allowed back on here again. And others too. FWR amnesty?

No one should be deleted for truthful statements, even if they upset people who’s gender identity differs from their biological sex.
