Sorry haven’t rtwt. Why is Posie banned from here?

MsMoppet · 15/10/2018 20:09

Reinstate Posie

MissAriadneOliver · 15/10/2018 20:14

Agree!

MamaJune · 15/10/2018 21:39

I still agree that the ban should be overturned.

VMisaMarshmallow · 15/10/2018 21:52

Agreed.

stealthsquirrelnutkin · 15/10/2018 22:18

All the banned women need to be invited back. Banning them was a huge mistake.

PerverseConverse · 16/10/2018 01:27

She is banned on Facebook for 30 days too. And is banned from twitter. Think twitter is permanent. Some people really don't like those of us who tell the truth. All this banning has done is make the rest of us share her message even more. The attempts to silence her have given us louder voices. Why are people so afraid of the truth? Ah yes, because the truth highlights their delusions and shows them for the falsehoods they are. We stand with Posie in Standing for women and will be her voice whilst she is silenced.

Ineedacupofteadesperately · 16/10/2018 01:45

She was banned on here, if I recall correctly, for making an irreverent comment when Stella Creasey was failing to answer questions asked by multiple woman on a guest post she'd made about street harassment legislation. Something about how she'd drink prosecco if SC managed to come up with a non-circular definition of 'woman'. .

Trying to hold politicians to account with humour is a bannable offence on MN apparently.

I mean, she was banned for nothing basically.

WomanDictionaryDefined · 16/10/2018 01:45

Women are allowed to be angry.

Let women speak.

Undo the political bans for the rest of the week so these women can stand up for your rights and mine (think of all the appreciation)

SmellyHead · 16/10/2018 01:51

Yes I agree! Unban them please

Ineedacupofteadesperately · 16/10/2018 02:36

The thing is about Posie, at first if you didn't know you'd think 'oh my goodness, she's banned from all these places, she must be really radical'.

And then you find out what she's been banned for. Her poster removed for being a dictionary definition of 'woman'. Asking a politician to come up with a definition of 'woman'. Pointing out that a biological man has physical advantages in sport.

She's been silenced for pointing out the obvious and asking reasonable questions.

It is incredibly sinister. She's being denied access to multiple public platforms for speaking the truth. She is a normal woman, a stay at home mum, and she's really being silenced and targeted for speaking honestly at all, it seems to me.

Perhaps normal women, without power or money, really don't have access to free speech.

We need to have her back on this. Every time she's banned, I donate to her.

MN should really unban her.

Slapdasherie · 16/10/2018 02:46

When people repeatedly say that they believe we are acting in bad faith or are being abusive, it's exhausting and pretty toxic for the people who work here. When it happens over and over again, it seems a bit pointless to continue that spiral and we'd rather call it a day.

So she was banned for criticising Mumsnet? That's a bit piss weak isn't it?

Belina · 16/10/2018 04:58

Who is the great wizard of oz posie you speak of op

Belina · 16/10/2018 05:00

Posie if you're reading this and you seem to get ban everywhere just make a YouTube channel you dont even have to show your face but people on mumsnet seem to be interested in what you have to say and can post links to your videos

AdventuringThroughLife · 16/10/2018 05:35

Im really shocked at the moment at how already women are censored about talking about women. Im really surprised mumsnet of all places is doing this :(

It will soon be impossible to talk about women. Its truly scary.

Spartasprout · 16/10/2018 22:10

I agree. Bring therealposieparker back!

Antonia87 · 17/10/2018 12:39

Let her speak!!! Stop no platforming PosieParker!!

Pywife2 · 17/10/2018 14:25

Stop censoring women, bring them all back.

Ugggg · 15/04/2022 11:56

I want to hear from Posie Parker. I may not agree with everything she says but I still want to hear what she has to say. It's not good a good look for MN to silence womens political voices.

ZaraSizeMedium · 15/04/2022 12:16

Yes please.

And LangCleg

In fact. all of the women who were banned.

gardenhelpneeded · 15/04/2022 12:22

LK1972 · 15/04/2022 12:23

@ZaraSizeMedium

Yes please.

Agree
bellinisurge · 15/04/2022 12:23

We need her voice. Agree with her. Disagree with her. Prefer to say stuff differently, I don't care. We need her voice. Loud and clear.

gardenhelpneeded · 15/04/2022 12:26

What was she banned for anyway?
