Agreed- bring back Posie!

I have 4 DDs and I dread them growing up in a world where they can't call themselves a woman because it upsets men.

Women fought for us through history and we are reminded everyday of the ways they suffered for us to have "equality".

For what? So we could have an opinion but keep it to ourselves or else we get shunned?

Bring back Posie. Show our children, our DAUGHTERS we will not be silenced.

I’m usually silent as I don’t have much to add and I do not agree with everyone but I agree with the basic gist of the right for women to be safe. People who are trans need to be safe too but not at the expense of another group. We can all fit in, we will make space for trans safety. They don’t have to be in our safe spaces.

Just read the Telegraph interview posted on Friday. I remember the incident and it was shocking. I'm puzzled by this bit though-

"assaults escalated in a way Roberts could never have predicted. The police received an anonymous phone call from someone reporting she had been murdered and her four children taken hostage by a gunman"

Someone who had reported having "been murdered" made a phone call

Agree with everything Joan is posting. I’m tired and so those posts have actually made me cry with frustration and despair.
This isn’t the world I want for my daughters. Where people can say something demonstrably NOT TRUE, by any definition other than a circular nonsense. They can say this to distress women, yet we are not allowed to speak THE TRUTH. Not even in a slightly gentler form. We have this truth that we all know, yet must not name. We are being controlled, coerced and insulted on every side, and I find this very, very disturbing.

Please again. Posie and Bewilderness (and a host of others by the sound of it).
We need our collective voice more than ever.

Funny how that's precisely the argument the very conservatively religious types use for why they restrict what women can do, where they can go, who they can meet and what choices they should have. As I was once told by a very religious man, he didn't want to oppress women really, but viewed them as just so previous and valuable that he wanted to keep them safe. By, er, not ever letting them go out without a male relative.

Agreed, overturn the ban for Posie MNHQ. Whether or not she would return is another matter.

Bumping this - I suspect that Posie is now too big for MN but nonetheless the fact that she remains banned when she is at the forefront of fighting to protect women's rights is, frankly, farcical and makes MN look ridiculous.
