Not posted much on this but been following the debate. Just heard interview with the Guide Leader at the centre of the GG issues (Helen I think) and announcement that they will be debating the whole trans issue after 9am with Nicky Campbell.

Now, if only Sophie Walker were not so determined not to make anyone feel as if they needed to take a stance on one side or the other of this issue, this might have been a real opportunity for her and WEP to show some leadership...

Love the story on holiday, the transgender friend with a beard and a shaven heard - "we made a few mistakes sometimes calling her "him"".

I haven’t listened to 5 live before but don’t think I ever will again. I can not believe the presenter is allowed to be like this. ‘Biological sex is tricky’ and not being challenged on that is ridiculous. I just want someone to ask why gender is at all relevant to anything in life. SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX is the reason there are traditionally two different spaces for lots of things.
