I see the crowd funding thread has been deleted. Message from MNHQ re not allowing campaigns not from registered charities etc.

Have I been had? Now panicking about doxxing etc. I just wanted to help. I'm not that savvy really Blush

Bump

BeepBeepTheresaSheep · 28/09/2018 07:07

Just come across this thread, seems be a really subtle message here

picklemepopcorn · 28/09/2018 08:28

What's that, beep? I may need you to explain for me.

RepealtheGRA · 28/09/2018 08:46

Bumping again in case someone’s able to explain the subtle message to me.

LangCleg · 28/09/2018 09:04

I'm unsure of the subtle message because I am the proverbial bull in the china shop but something tells me it's quite time limited.

silentcrow · 28/09/2018 09:13

Oh hey, look at that - it's pay day. What a beautiful sunny day to throw money at a good cause and pointedly not spend it elsewhere.

GladAllOver · 28/09/2018 15:03

Yes it's a lovely day. Just right for a spot of phrenology. :)

picklemepopcorn · 28/09/2018 15:30

Glad Grin

Took me a minute...

Badstyley · 28/09/2018 16:59

Bumping this again. There’s two days to go and I think they still need a couple of thousand to reach their target. I’ve donated again this morning, more than the last twice put together, so hoping they do it.

RepealtheGRA · 28/09/2018 21:10

How are they doing now?

TeenTimesTwo · 28/09/2018 21:24

735 is a nice number. It is divisible by 3 and 5 and 7^2

TeenTimesTwo · 28/09/2018 22:18

610 is less interesting, being 2x5x61.

(I'm a sad person who factorises numbers for fun. Our David Lloyd club has a 3 digit exit code which I aim to factorise before getting back to the car.)

DontCisgenderMe · 28/09/2018 22:47

Just donated again. It's up to £9,470!

HawkeyeInConfusion · 28/09/2018 23:33

Ouch.

Just stubbed my toe tripping over a thread someone left lying around.

Bespin · 29/09/2018 01:17

I mean you could donate to something to help people get media training. or you could donate to orginasations who help vunrable young people stay safe

LadyBrianAdultHumanFemale · 29/09/2018 07:56

Bespin we think keeping men out of women's and girls spaces does help keep vulnerable women and girls safe. It's not rocket science to work out why. FPFW are one of many approaches to preventing the dismantling of single sex spaces/provisions and the removal of woman (noun: adult human female) as a sex class.

RepealtheGRA · 29/09/2018 08:12

Thanks for the reminder Bespin they only need another £330 Smile

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 29/09/2018 08:33

£9,690!

Yes Bespin, we're donating to help protect women & girls.

ChrysanthemumsAreMums · 29/09/2018 08:37

Thanks Bespin! Donated again

BeyondAdultHumanFemale · 29/09/2018 09:42

Nice of bespin to join in with the thread bumping :)

BesmirchingMotherhood · 29/09/2018 10:10

£9815!

FloralBunting · 29/09/2018 10:12

Genuinely not sure where bespin is planting their flag right now. They've always been one of the less aggressive posters from the opposing viewpoint, and while each post on this thread has been goady in a distinctly ineffective way, it has bumped the thread - which for those wondering, is about a very worthwhile donation possibility.

Molokonono · 29/09/2018 10:14

Just donated £300 so should hit target now.

Thanks Bespin for reminding me again to donate.

Keeptrudging · 29/09/2018 10:21

Should I still donate, even if they've reached their target? I missed this thread, was too busy making sandwiches.

LangCleg · 29/09/2018 10:24

you could donate to orginasations who help vunrable young people stay safe

I agree, bespin! Safeguarding is so vital and thank you very much for the reminder that any lobby group seeking to undermine safeguarding frameworks for the very group it advocates for should be avoided at all costs. Thank heavesn for the likes of FPFW and TT, who have a good grip of Working Together and other statutory guidance and are campaigning for them not to be undermined.

So helpful of you.
