Razor blades and stickers again

A twitter account is saying that stickers in Manchester Oxford Road station have razor blades behind them put there by TERFS. If you are terfblocked you won't be able to view.

Razor blades and stickers again

Razor blades under posters/stickers is an urban myth. Like poisoned sweets on Halloween.

Actually, a child did once die from a poisoned sweet on Halloween, in the USA in 1974. The child's own father Ronald Clark O'Bryan did it, and blamed Halloween sweets. Horrific story.

I don't believe for one second that the women distributing these stickers are putting razor blade under them. Not for one solitary second. (And I got a worse cut than that from a tin can I was washing for re-cycling the other week - funny how the tweets morphed from "very badly cut hands" to "minor cuts on hands" isn't it).

No feminist has put razor blades underneath stickers. Utter rot.

Were we all distracted by a bee during that lesson?

Worst hate group ever - we don't even pay attention during the lessons conducted in our radicalisation portal. Sad

Every time a TRA posts something like this a little thought bubble should pop up to the side that just says "Lying".

How could you fit a cut throat razor - as seen in a barber's shop - behind a sticker? And not have it noticed.
404 you have gone from ' easy to conceal - would just look like the sticker was put up imperfectly' to 'a cut throat razor - they have pretty biog blades.' I'm afraid the two statements are mutually exclusive.

It is, however, possible to cut oneself across multiple fingers with a large sheet of paper. Or to cut oneself like that simply by sticking your fingers into the blade of your lady shave.

Not sure that peeling a sticker (presumably requiring nail action - and unlikely to come off in one piece) and accidentally encountering a rogue cut throat razor blade would result in the kind of injury we see photographed.

Are you suggesting women, many of whom are mothers, are putting “cut throat razors” behind stickers to protest their diminishing of their human rights? Really?

I am utterly shocked.

Firstly, I hope no one has actually been hurt (but this is a 40 year old urban legend, so I will await the police report)...

Secondly, while I admit geography is not my strong point, Oxford Road Station is rather a long way from Charlotte, North Carolina, no?

Oh and the single piece cut-throats are both pretty expensive and unsuitable for barbershops where (obviously) a new blade is used per customer. I guess you could dunk them in some Barbicide but I don't think that would do much for their longevity. So you're talking rubbish

In the First World War the Germans used to bayonet nuns and babies. Or was it the British? It was widely reported at the time anyway, so whichever it was I'm sure it was true.

Sorry that was for 404.

If I'm being entirely honest, I do live in a house made of confectionery and sweet baked goods.

Not so much "made in" as "full of". Is it my fault that my dad brought me sweets when he came to visit?

It's so weird that a 'TERF' put that sticker hiding the blade up and managed to wound her presumed target, a transgender woman. I mean what's the chances of that happening?

I mean, when you think about it, the toilets at the train station will be regularly cleaned. Numerous members of the public could be offended by a willy sticker...like anyone of a religious or conservative nature, people who hate stickers, Lorena Bobbit and wish to remove it, it wasn't even removed by an amused or curious child. No! In spite of trans people being a tiny proportion of the population, somehow it was a trans person that found and removed the sticker.

Plus, it's the first reported sticker in Manchester too, so quite a shock that the first one to be found has been put up by not just any old TERF but full on lunatic, psycho TERF.

These seem to be the ones placed behind the fascist stickers: www.shaving-shack.com/10-derby-extra-and-10-israeli-made-double-edged-razor-blades.html

Eryn and Zoey have both said stuff about the police, and been satisfied when it was said that there was cctv and stuff, so even if it's not a GC doing it, I don't think it was them.

Icantreachthepretzels · 05/09/2018 23:15

Well - if they said they went to the police, on twitter no less, then that must absolutely have happened mustn't it?
There is no cctv inside public toilets.
are you this credulous in every walk of life?

The naivety of some of the posters on that twitter thread- they find a razor blade behind an evil sticker stuck up by their nasty middle aged foes and they don't think to take a picture of said sticker or their injury in situ? Imagine the value of that type of contemporaneous image. Guys. Come on. Use a bit of sense.

Even assuming the logistics of sticking individual razor blades to walls using penis shaped stickers was realistic (one would think there'd be a rectangle outline which would be a giveaway) it's not stickerwoman or her supporters' style. Not only are they intended to be a peaceful but uncompromising message, but GC feminists are aware that the sticker-scrapping job in a women's loo is only too likely to be carried out by a cleaner or low level employee who's likely to be (you guessed it) female. Not a chance they'd do this.
