A twitter account is saying that stickers in Manchester Oxford Road station have razor blades behind them put there by TERFS. If you are terfblocked you won't be able to view.

Judging from the pics here, I think it could be straight razor blades, yeah. I'm reasonably certain that the alt-right did it, I'm inclined to believe Eryn and Zoey. www.snopes.com/fact-check/deadly-playground/

(b) a photo where I can’t really see a cut,

In fairness - once you peered at the screen hard enough, it was a pretty nasty paper cut. But ...um ... yeah - it was a paper cut. I've had ones that have bled like fuckery.

Am I being thick, where are the cuts on her hand?

dermymc on the finger. I think she got lucky.

Do you have lots of experience recognising different types of Razorblade cuts 404?

All the razor talk sounds like the kind of stuff you would learn from Antifa or something. Definitely not anything for a feminist board on a parenting forum.
Anyone who wants to look at our sticker threads will know that this kind of vile, dangerous tactic would never be condoned by anyone.
I hope the police get to the bottom of this, including getting clear statements/timeline/cctv/etc.
This is all very concerning....

On the very top of their middle finger. Just like a paper cut.

I have cut myself there with a razor once, tbf, - when I tried to clean it with my hand. Nothing to do with witches or Nazis though - just stupidity.

They'd actually be easy to conceal behind a sticker, people would just assume that it had been put on imperfectly or something. It's a horrible practice.

But the picture of Erin's hand shows a very very faint line across 3 fingers. That's a pretty big razor blade.

Also I'm in awe of Erin's powers of healing, this happened today(?), the cuts look healed already. Erin should donate some blood and bone marrow tissue for scientific research.

hotrocker No, but I know what razors look like, and I can tell that Eryn isn't bleeding, she probably managed to pull away.

familiar panic
again no blades
There's a pic from Germany showing an intact sticker with two DE blades stuck to the back of it, which doesn't make sense. How did they remove it in one piece with the blades intact?

It's probably a straight razor, aka a cutthroat razor blade. Using in some barber shops. They have pretty big blades.

Actually, no. These urban myths are more understandable with flyers and posters than stickers.

There have been lots of rumours about this - like the university campuses in North America where social media reports claimed White Supremacists had done this with flyposters back in 2016-2017. Not a single one of those was substantiated after investigation. E.g., California Toronto

What absolute bunkum. No feminist has put razor blades underneath stickers. Utter rot.

Does expertise in razor blades come with a box of Kleenex?

herfemaleness No, I do believe it. Straight razors are in use in some barbers', and they are often known as cut throat razors, because they were used for shaving in the days when barbers did bloodletting.

dermymc that cut is Eryn's, she said she was absolutely fine. Zoey was also cut, and apparently pretty badly.

404NameNotFound I saw MisErydactyl post what looked like a faded papercut across three fingers. Does MisErydactyl have a photo of the actual razors? It must have been a long blade.

Cut-throat razors are a single piece of steel. Aficionados have them, and they need sharpening, honing and stropping with a leather belt and various pastes. DE blades can be snapped in half of bought ready divided for use in a "shavette". I don't know what kind of blades would be longer. Carpet knife?
