I'm getting me some Suffragette stuff.

ToeToToe · 26/09/2018 17:25

Perhaps @sandydrawsbadly could do a little modern cartoon version of this wonderful print from the Museum of London? With Venice, Linda, Posie etc. Would be fab.

I'm going to mention again that Linda has tweeted the case comes back to the same court on 30 November...

More scarves here: www.redbubble.com/shop/suffragette+scarves

AsAProfessionalFekko · 26/09/2018 17:36

I love those scarves! I'm going to get a sash too. You just dont see many people in sashes these days...

arranfan · 26/09/2018 17:38

Redbubble is so good - Suffragette leggings, bags and everything :)

Cool. I work near a uni though so might be running the gauntlet at lunchtime.

NEVER thought I'd see the day when standing up for women was verboten!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 26/09/2018 17:56

never thought I'd see the day when spotty students of any gender would accuse a woman wearing suffragette colours of hate crime and literal genocide. Bloody baby idiots.

ArkeNOTen · 26/09/2018 18:16

I like a nice sash. In the fashion singular

OvaHere · 26/09/2018 18:17

Ooh thanks for the redbubble links. I've just treated myself to a lovely scarf.

I do like a nice scarf Grin

CrackpotsArePots · 26/09/2018 18:36

ShowOfHands

Me too. I wanted to be there. I am so proud of them

VickyEadie · 26/09/2018 18:37

OvaHere - which one? I'm not sure which to choose!

AssignedNorthernAtBirth · 26/09/2018 18:37

Linda's GFM is no longer accepting donations. If Linda or anyone close to her is reading, how can I send financial support?

Brilliant idea!

woman11017 · 26/09/2018 18:49

We weren't allowed to wear our suffragette sashes in the court, but great women, great to meet some lovely mnetters and many others from all over the country, and kudos to Linda and Venice. Grace under pressure. Smile

OvaHere · 26/09/2018 18:53

This one Vicky. I struggled to choose between about 3 but I love the colours on this. I might buy the more recognisable stripped one when I have more money.

DS just saw me looking at a photo of Linda outside court and wanted to know what it was about.

I explained that a silly little person had decided to accuse someone of being bigoted towards minorities - and the person they'd accused was a black, Jewish, lesbian woman in her 60s.

DS (who is only 10) is stunned by this.

He said "so this person is being sexist and racist and... and has brought a court case?"

He suggests that the silly little person takes their court case and shoves it up their... (at this point he paused in case mummy told him off for swearing Grin - but I think we can safely assume it's somewhere where the sun don't shine).

Linda - even my 10 year old can see how insane this is!

OvaHere · 26/09/2018 18:55

*striped that should read.

Juells · 26/09/2018 18:55

Linda's GFM is no longer accepting donations. If Linda or anyone close to her is reading, how can I send financial support?

She said from the beginning that she only needed some money to cover taxis and expenses generally, but people kept donating after it hit the target, so I guess she's closed it down.

vaginafetishist · 26/09/2018 18:58

They did make rather a fabulous looking couple emerging from court!

VickyEadie · 26/09/2018 19:14

OvaHere

I've ordered the striped one and an extra one for my partner!

OvaHere · 26/09/2018 19:20

Yay Vicky Smile

breastfeedingclownfish · 26/09/2018 19:58

I want a suit like Linda's. She looked bloody brilliant.

Needmoresleep · 26/09/2018 19:59

Story is now in the Mail dailym.ai/2OR1Wcr

Not bad.
