Penygirl other posters have said sometimes the email is going to the junk folder, so maybe check there.

Silk29 · 18/03/2018 22:20

Penygirl My email came through immediately to the 'Junk' folder.

If you can't locate it, I suggest trying to sign the petition again, then once it has progressed to the screen telling you to check your email, look in all possible folders- 'Junk', 'Other' etc.

Penygirl · 18/03/2018 22:23

I'm getting the screen that says I haven't signed the petition until I click the link in the email. I'll have another look in the junk folder but I don't think it's there.

thenightsky · 18/03/2018 22:39

The email comes through straight away. How long since you did it? If its a while, you may have to scroll down through your junk mail.

Penygirl · 18/03/2018 22:41

No, it's not there. Investors looked thoroughly. Very frustrating!

Penygirl · 18/03/2018 22:42

*i've not investors

NoSquirrels · 18/03/2018 22:44

This time yesterday: 5444
Today: 6274

830 in 24 hours. Nice.

Penygirl · 18/03/2018 22:50

I've now used a different email address and it came through no problem. Thanks to those who suggested solutions.

Only 7 signatures to go before the petition reaches 6300.

Well done again, Amy and Hannah! And everyone who has persuaded others to become more aware and sign the petition.

NoSquirrels · 18/03/2018 23:49

4 more to 6,300 ...

Round number by midnight would be so satisfying

Interesting looking at the areas of heaviest concentration. Many are the same areas that came out stronger for Remain, against Trump's state visit and I suspect other causes beloved of the left.

No wonder Labour is hesitating with the gender id announcement.

There is also a nice scattering of Conservative seats just to keep the Tories on their toes too. It would be interesting to know if these were Labour/Liberal voters in these areas or Tory voters making themselves heard.

ilikebread · 19/03/2018 07:22

Hulo I’m generally a Centrist but voted Conservative at last elections and will at the next as labour is far too anti Semitic for me and Lib Dem’s are next to useless 😊 I’m also in one of the concentrated areas on the map...

athingthateveryoneneeds · 19/03/2018 09:28

Numbers are climbing. Any predictions? I'm thinking 10k by the end of the week. Grin

OvaHere · 19/03/2018 09:34

I tentatively shared this on a FB group yesterday. Got 4 signees and no adverse comments so far.

Mner · 19/03/2018 14:47

I am in an odd area - one of the safest tory seats in the country but voted strongly for remain. We have some of the higher numbers for this as well.

Elendon · 19/03/2018 19:47

I want to wave to a fellow mums netter on this thread who is in my constituency. Great to chat and hope to meet up!

This time yesterday: 6,274
Today: 6,740

466 up. Someone else calculated it needs 500ish per day to hit 100,000 in 6 months.

There’s a great Standard article on sex vs gender & the biological realities of womanhood & the transphobic label

aRespectableBureaudeChange · 19/03/2018 23:18

Interesting article, but I'm not convinced about sympathy of not affording surgery and being stuck with the penis.

I seem to have read a number of articles saying they feel removing penis is outdated and unnecessary - ie suits them to keep it.

Would be good if someone has any statistics on this choice to not remove - most people think we are talking about fully transitioned guys who get boundaries etc. Help people get their heads around these are mostly not people with dysphoria.

boatyardblues · 19/03/2018 23:58

6,746 @ midnight.

Ekphrasis · 20/03/2018 11:33

Ha, I don't have to look on the link anymore; I just check here for progress!
