That's all of Scotland now and there are now 5 in A&B. I'm not feeling quite so lonely anymore.

BlackeyedSusan · 17/03/2018 20:09

squirrels I am commneting about your continual posting of those threads on those threads.. it seems to be bumping up the list though...

I find it peculiar that there can be a grey constiuency next to an orange one, whether they are really different or whether it is just luck that some people have heard about GRAor not.

Interesting that Brighton has such a high number of signatures.

Patodp · 17/03/2018 21:15

Brighton has a high number of lesbians.

TulipsInAJug · 17/03/2018 21:23

Thanks OP for all your work on this. You've been a star. Keep it up and know that many women appreciate your efforts Flowers

aRespectableBureaudeChange · 17/03/2018 21:25

Kids sign petitions that they hand deliver to Downing Street.

Please don't worry about signing.

Women asking to be consulted on what being female is and how self ID of gender will affect us. Really not asking for anything controversial?

Do at home computer rather than work one if you are under work place pressure to conform to the idea that men are women.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 17/03/2018 21:31

Not only does the article need to linked below articles but also below the tweets the newspapers use to share the articles.
They need to be well thought through tweets too, something like “We support trans rights BUT not at the expense of women’s rights. Do you want the government to listen to women about the need for sex segregated spaces for women and girl? Please sign link”

I sadly can’t tweet about this due to work issues.

Voice0fReason · 17/03/2018 22:13

I have shared it and had a little bit of response (in support) but not as much as I would have liked.
Too many people feel like they can't talk about this openly when what we are asking for is very reasonable.

BlackeyedSusan · 17/03/2018 22:17

I think I may try emailing a friend with the swim England stuff. May get it raised that way. Have already emailed relies. Must chase up ex.

NoSquirrels · 17/03/2018 22:19

@CircleSquare
I agree (& also can’t retweet or anything cos of work issues). Itji k just this

We support trans rights BUT not at the expense of women’s rights.

Is direct & unarguable.

BingBongSong · 17/03/2018 23:13

5601 Smile.

My constituency has been static for the past few days. I'm disappointed!

smashyourglasses · 18/03/2018 00:57

The harrassment of The Womens Holiday Centre is still going on (and on) on facebook for sharing the petition. They're trying to force them into allowing men to be permitted Confused

Waddlelikeapenguin · 18/03/2018 01:19

Good to see there is no grey left in Scotland Smile
Hopefully the manfriday articles will see the numbers rushing up soon.

Can I ask people to have a look at this petition too?

There is a thread here with more information www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3174763-aibu-to-think-that-61-days-in-prison-for-killing-someone-is-an-insult?pg=1&order=

Minerva1234 · 18/03/2018 07:33

Would there be any mileage in leaving leaflets on the back of toilet doors etc in public places? Along the lines of:

'Did you know a proposed law change could mean ANY man could enter this space by saying he is a woman?

No surgery needed. No hormones needed. He won't even need to shave or put on a dress.

If you think women should have a say in this, visit XXX to sign the petition.'

Freshlylaidterf · 18/03/2018 07:38

Great idea

Freshlylaidterf · 18/03/2018 07:40

Other places too, Changing rooms in shops for example

Mner · 18/03/2018 08:21

I think that's a good idea. I've tweeted the link in a few different places this morning

Nice hat @YesItsADebate Grin

Petition is mentioned but not linked.
Comments are moderated on the Mail so I have uploaded a link to the petition but not sure if it’ll be approved.

Those who can share widely on FB or Twitter please do so!

BlackeyedSusan · 18/03/2018 08:51

It will be interesting to see if more People sign today. There were about 100 yesterday. 40ish this morning already

NoSquirrels · 18/03/2018 08:56

The petition needs to be shared with those articles. Because it’s not linked directly yet.

KingLooieCatz · 18/03/2018 08:56

Just signed, really pleased to see 16 people in my constituency have already signed.

What should I say if I e-mail my MP? Apologies if this was covered in the last thread.
