I'd like to hear James O'Brien about this. No because I'd expect any sense from him but so that it would be on record how utterly and completely wrong he was.

JHB was... not too bad. She seems to get it, despite her dodgy views on other subjects.

She said that (paraphrased) obviously "male bodied people" will be triggering for women with ptsd from abuse, so what kind of person goes into that job actively knowing that they will upset women, for their own validation?

Dr Nicola Williams was totally fab on Nick Ferrari's show. Ferrari backed her completely. Was just laughing on another thread about NF adopting a feminist position on anything!

Nauticant, James O'Brien is fully down the rabbit hole on this. He was especially nasty to a female caller a few weeks ago who was objecting to gender neutral changing rooms

Isn't Karen Ingala Smith the woman who does the 'Counting Dead Women' blog? She is great.

I feel annoyed that I have to be on the same page as Nick Bloody Ferrari on this, he is the absolute worst of the mansplainers and is such a condescending twat, but needs must I guess.

Just caught up with the GMB interview, it made me so angry.

India Willoughby derailing, talking over Karen Ingala Smith and just generally being sneery and dismissive. It doesn't matter what surgery they have or which hormones they take nothing removes deeply ingrained male privilege, does it?

I hate that we're so on the back foot. Why can't Karen say 'this isn't about you. It's about women caring for women - most of whom have been abused by men - but all of whom are women, lesbian or not. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU'

I'm normally a fan of James O'Brien...listen a lot....but he has totally drunk all the fucking Kool Aid on this issue.

I was so angry at him for shutting down debate and dismissing womens concerns.

Another one who is literally fucking horrified and confused to find myself alligned in agreement with people like Nick Ferrari and Piers Morgan. Grin

Will watch/listen to these later when I have wine.....otherwise I think my head might just literally explode in fury.
