This board is the most frightening .

Apparently.

I am a little saddened that a forum mostly used by women, has decided that the feminist boards are the most frightening of the forum.

Why do we feel that is? What can be done to prevent people from feeling so intimidated that they are too scared t post?

Indeed Peter.

I am particularly low brow by this boards standards but what i have picked up on these boards has really made a difference to the way i view many things.
I find myself challenging things in every day life that i simply wouldn't even have recognised before.

I am seeing patriachal opression in places i would never even have noticed before.

That is why i am dissapointed to see that so many women are put off from posting or even lurking here. You don't need a PHD in feminist theory to absorbe some of the more basic principles.
