WW 2014 support/b*tch thread

beachavendrea · 07/01/2014 05:47

Is there one of these already? I started WW online the day after Boxing Day which was the best or the worst idea I've ever had. I can't decide.
I have a lot of weight to loose and am finding it hard to get motivated, i have been sticking to my points, so thought I would start a support thread!

Ok I have been back on it from today!

Lost 3.5 of the lbs I put on and have started cycling again - most importantly have regained my WW mojo.

I was so proud of myself for losing and want to keep that feeling so am determined to get to goal - just 6lbs away!

Taking it easy still, not cooking much (lunch was a can of soup and some oatcakes) but feeling better. Thanks for you kind messages, everyone! I took a 'before' shot to my class tonight as extra motivation and people seemed shocked at the difference in me.

brettgirl2 · 09/04/2014 17:36

I'm having a Hmm moment with the app. A whole pheasant is apparently 7pp but wore. Half a Partridge is 7pp and Green! And half a Partridge apparently provides 130g of meat. Are they genetically engineering them to be the same size as a large duck? Hmm Hmm

brettgirl2 · 09/04/2014 17:36

white not wore!

HalleLouja · 09/04/2014 20:40

Argh. I put on 1.5lb on this week. Not sure why. Maybe as I went for a later weigh in. Didn't think I had been piggy and done lots of exercise this week.

brettgirl2 · 12/04/2014 14:34

I've failed to stick to my points this week for the first time. ironically least week I'd have been just about ok as they've reduced my daily points Hmm . I therefore will not feel bad.

SuperDuperJezebel · 12/04/2014 23:24

Don't... Enjoy the moment, draw a line and move on. No point punishing yourself! Tonight I'm taking god for all my weeklies, as I went out for dinner and have eaten an estimated 52 points. Hoping that Moonbells theory of a big loss a few days after a high pointed day continues to be true!

moonbells · 13/04/2014 07:28

Wow. Being strict to stick to points this week and eating ridiculous amounts of veg and fruit and protein while cutting a lot of carbs has worked. After weeks of little to no drops, I lost 4lb!

-24.5lb now Grin and it's definitely showing. Now the great bra dilemma: buy a new one or not!

Dunno Super, if it works more often than once a blue moon. But I shall keep my fingers crossed for you!

SuperDuperJezebel · 13/04/2014 09:44

Definitely buy a new bra! I clung onto my old ones for so long and they were embarrassingly saggy. I felt and looked SO much better once I'd bought some new ones.

ProfessionalKiller · 13/04/2014 11:31

Can I join you? Returned to ww in October but haven't been doing it, just wanted to make sure I didn't gain too much whilst bf dd (it's too easy to eat cake and biscuits and blame the baby!)
Gave myself a kick up the backside last week, started properly following f&h and lost 6.5lb last week. Result!
Fwiw my Mum is a Gold member, returned to goal last year and has been happily maintaining for almost a year.

Current aim is to lose another 10.5lb before my birthday (mid May) so I can use any birthday money for new clothes.

SuperDuperJezebel · 14/04/2014 21:51

Welcome, ProfessionalKiller!

I lost 1lb this week, taking me to 100.5lb... So happy!

trainersandaches · 14/04/2014 22:01

Welcome Killer!

I lost 2lb this week, and am now just 4lb off my first Gold goal of 8stone13.

Wow well done Jezebel! When is your HoC day?

I went a bit off-piste this weekend so glad I managed to lose. Also sent a binbag of clothing to the charity shop so I need to go shopping for some smaller clothes. Discovered the yum orange and lemon fruit pastilles in group tonight, they are SO nice!

trainersandaches · 14/04/2014 22:02

Oh and Moon - definitely get a new bra, I am now a 28GG and wearing the right size bra makes me look much smaller!

SuperDuperJezebel · 14/04/2014 22:21

I'm not doing a HOC day? Maybe it was someone else?I considered it at one point but I don't think its for me. Only 13.5lb to go for me, hope I can do it before wedding.

ProfessionalKiller · 14/04/2014 22:36

Thanks everyone!

I'm 0.5lb off the 3 stone mark from when I joined after DS was born. Not too sure where to place my goal weight yet, but at least another 2 stone to go.

My lovely mum has added another incentive for me. if I manage the ridiculous 10.5lb target before my birthday she's going to double my bithday money so I can get some new clothes that actually fit

Weigh in tomorrow, hoping for another 2lb off.

trainersandaches · 14/04/2014 23:06

Yep must have been someone else, sorry!

Good luck for tomorrow Killer!

ProfessionalKiller · 15/04/2014 20:10

2.5lbs! 44lbs in total Grin

So, now to plan how to cope with two bank holidays, a wedding and numerous easter egg hunts for an over excited toddler this weekend Confused

MercuryRising · 16/04/2014 08:55

Can I join you please ladies? I have been rubbish at sticking to my points recently but after a 0.5 gain last night I am drawing a very firm line in the sand.

fluffydressinggown · 17/04/2014 15:39

I put on half a pound this week I am gutted :( Trying to refocus for next week.

gracielooloo · 17/04/2014 22:27

Can I join please?
Have lost 33lbs so far, have 21 to go but struggling a bit at the moment. Put on 0.5 yesterday, gutted but days out with DP and DDs had me fair troughing!Grin

tobysmum77 · 19/04/2014 07:34

Nc from brettgirl2. Account linked to very old email addy so can't get at new password!

So I lost a pound last week despite being over my points (although only slightly). Will not have lost this week as we've been camping for a couple of nights and it is nigh on impossible to stick to in those circumstances but I didn't go really mad either.

I think I'm going to do healthy and filling most days from now on and see how that works for me. The thing is that as of last week my weight was 11st4lbs (I'm 5'10) and that is actually a weight I am pretty comfortable with, even though my target is 11st.

Congrats on the 100lbs weight loss, awesome!

HalleLouja · 21/04/2014 12:15

Have been away for a week but now back on it.

HalleLouja · 21/04/2014 12:16

Well done superduper you have done amazingly.

SuperDuperJezebel · 21/04/2014 23:10

1.5lb ON this week tho, no idea where it came from! I think this is quite common as you get closer to goal but it doesn't mean I have to like it!

Good luck with the filling and healthy tobysmum, it works for me to a degree, but I do find it hard not to shovel in the carbs!

HalleLouja · 23/04/2014 18:54

So in the last two weeks I have lost 4lb. That includes a week by the sea I was careful and ran a few times but still enjoyed myself food wise. So am now 9 stone 13lb and have lost 15lb / 10% of my original body weight.

ProfessionalKiller · 23/04/2014 21:58

Another 2lb this week. 11lb in three weeks! 46lb in total.

I've also moved down below the 13stone mark for the first time in.....pfft, ages Grin

Why oh why is it so bloody difficult to buy wholeweat cous cous? I've visited 4 different supermarkets this week, Tesco appears to be the only one that stocks it locally and they only do a stupid little pack.
