on 2nd cycle of shred and just finished level2 (my least favourite) and on again to level3. The chair squat v raises were slightly better on this cycle, still a complete killer though.

still cannot do the walking push ups.

butt cheeks firming up nicely now!

Oh hell, jumping lunges? I hate level 2 but am doing the whole mind over matter thing and forcing myself to do it.

No weight loss here, but really toning. Baby belly drastically reduced

jooseyfruit We are at about the same point. I have 2 days of WO 2 to go and on my 2nd cycle of shred too.

I don't mind the jumping lunges too much, just can't do many without stopping for a few seconds! I hate rock star jumps though!

Day 19 done.
Did one whole set of squat v raises but then couldn't do the 2nd set of the next exercise and couldn't do next set of v raises but did the squats.

I've just started the 30 Day Shred (on Day 3) and I have been so relieved to read this thread and hear it does get easier.
I'm exaughsted afterwards.
Mind you, tonight I did it in my sports bra and pants and the sight of my wobbling stomach relected in the window (house is very rural so there was no danger of anyone seeing and being traumatised) was enough to spur me on.

My knees really hurt tho' - the star jumps and kicks seem to be making them worse

I tend to drop down a weight for the second set of v raises - that way muscles are fatigued but I can still keep some sort of form.

Aggh...have missed the past 2 days but will get back into it again tonight! My weights have arrived so will see how I get on with them Grin

My knees also hurt after the first few days - I gave myself a day off on day 4 and they've been fine ever since.

Think I'll do a couple more days of level 1 and see how I get on with lever 2. Good to hear about the toning up of tummies and waists...that's good motivation!

Tarty I already use my lightest weights for that exercise. Even tried it with no weights and struggled lol! But i am getting better which i am happy about. Grin

Day 20 WO 2 Grin
Very happy because i did all of 1st set of squat with v raise and all but about 5 of the 2nd set. Plus only other place i stopped was during those jumping twist things and the skaters but only for 2 secs to cathc my breath.

My arms and legs are shaking and i have sweat pouring down my face! Grin

Knackered but very happy!

Oh hell, WO 3 tomorrow!! But only 10 days until i can take measurements! I think (hope) bingo wings look a bit smaller.

hi all

can i (re)join you all? I was briefly on the first thread but had a house move to deal with and kind of lost my mojo...

anyway i'm back on it - did l1 again 2 days ago, was in the usual expected agony yesterday but still went to the gym for a good cardio workout plus resistance weights, feeling utterly drained this morning but will do l1 again in a wee while....honest! my dh is in the raf and is on deployment at the mo - he is home in a couple of weeks for a break and i would like to feel a bit tighter and less flabby!

so my plan is - l1 today and for the rest of next week; l2 the following week with maybe a couple of l3's thrown in towards the end,just before dh gets back. Im really going to try to do this every day, with maybe 2 days rest. I'll see how I go!

wish me luck....ooowwwwwww!

I have just done my 10th day of level 1...and will start level 2 tomorrow - eeeeek. Haven't even looked at it yet! Think I've got all the level 1 moves nailed apart from the blimmin' push ups which I can only do with my knees on the floor. My new 2kg weights have also added a new dimension to the side lunges!! Still...it'll all be worth it Grin

It's my thighs that are killing me? Must be from those squats & lunges? I felt fine doing it & did all the hard bits.

I don't think I did the reverse crunch right though? It didn't hurt and I didn't find it hard?

Done!Day 21 Day 1 of WO 3!

Navy It is actually my 2nd round of the thread so have already completed 30 days.

I am feeling stronger. I remember day 1 of WO 3 the 1st time round and i could hardly do any of it even on easy! This time i still had trouble with jumping squats and rock star jumps but kept going on most of the rest. Even did some following Natalie. Shock I am sweating like a pig though! Lovely! Grin
