Everyone seems to be off that plateau this week, great zoning. I think I need to try harder this week.

Are these shoes less gimmer-like and more on trend?

YoginiBikini · 28/05/2010 08:54

Nice shoes master

Love the dresses too dinky and undertone

lol at buda and your boss/file/selfridges/friend/lunch shenanigans

Well done on losses

I am a pound up again. Unsurprising after me week. Had hoped I'd stay the same

Oh and I bought an icecream machine. Veeeerry nice, not good for zoning though

YoginiBikini · 28/05/2010 08:59

Shoes today are these Jigsaw

I danced the night away in them at the weekend with no desire to kick them off and release my feet. Today them are taking me shopping. Perfect shoe

Undertone · 28/05/2010 09:02

TMAM - those shoes are lovely - nothing gimmerish about them. Unless you wear them with beige pop socks.

Great news from all losers. We're totally the most awesome B/S/W mn thread.

14 stone 3 today. Down from 15 stone 7 at the beginning of March. Three stone to go...

I was dreading going shopping, as I thought I wouldn't even get into size 18s. Turns out, in most brands, I'm now a size 16 (if the dress has a full skirt) and size 18s LOOK BAGGY AND HORRIBLE!

New dress on today at work. Got two meetings, one of which will turn into drinks on the toon with the client. Wearing slate grey tights and matching grey patent ballet pumps with it, plus a white cami underneath so top buttons can be open. Hair down so no jewelery.

FoghornLeghorn · 28/05/2010 09:12

Well done to all you loosers ladies

Well my official weigh in is one a Tuesday at WW but I weighed myself this morning and my scales say 10st 8lb. I'm thrilled with that but don't expect its completely accurate as I usually weigh in in the evenings

DukesOfTripHazard · 28/05/2010 09:28

Oh I do think EVERYONE needs to PUNCH THE AIR A LA BO when they have a loss. This is a good morning girls. Glad to hear of success on a plate.

I'm amazed to still be at goal, which is something, I feel.

Buda liked your selfridges story. Undie (there, it's official) the Pink shirt dress and brown shoes deffo good combo.

Off for first time in 6 months hair cut later. Showed DH two pics from celeb hair website and he said, 'you know I'll just choose the nicest lady'

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 28/05/2010 09:44

Well done all you losers They'll be nothing left of this thread in 6 months time.

Love both dresses Dinky - they'll be absolutely gorgeous on you. Will you report back about fit?

TMAM - love the shooze.

Am off on hols later today. Have been manicured, pedicured, waxed, plucked, threaded, exfoliated and spray tanned to within an inch of my life. Baby almost got spray tanned as he decided to start crawling at that moment. Can you imagine the conversation round the pool?

"your baby looks like he's been in the sun"
Me: "well, he hasn't, it's actually a fake tan"

Doesn't look good either way, does it?

Keep losing losers.

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 10:03

Morning all. BIG whoop whoops for BO, Undertone, Cheese (a loss is still a loss m'lady) and FH&F and Foghorn - all great stuff ladies.

Undertone - love the dress, bet it looks fabulous on. TMAM - glad to see your usually excellent sartorial style is back. Watch out for those gimmer tendencies though

Porridge - have a fabulous holiday! Will report back on the dresses.

Weighed in this morning and from 10.9 last week am now down to 10.5 (gym scales verified this). Week of concerted WW pointing and exercise has paid off, hurrah.

Yogini - like those shoes too and your ice cream maker I'd be much much larger than you could possibly imagine if I had one of those. Made any nice unusual flavoured ice creams yet?

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 10:04

P.s. Jack - lol at your BIL's engagement - sounds like a fun time will be had by all. Have a good time.

FoghornLeghorn · 28/05/2010 10:07

Well done Dink

BariatricObama · 28/05/2010 10:49

lol @ dukes dh, tbh who wouldn't choose the nice lady.

dinky you are impressive. i am surprised you weigh anythign with all the exercise.

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 11:07

BO - you know how it is. You and Fishie and TMAM run alot - somehow once your body gets used to it, it doesnt really make any difference to weight loss...

BariatricObama · 28/05/2010 11:52

so true, but the past 2 weeks i have run faster and it seems to have helped

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 12:01

Well done on the running faster. My PT recommends doing interval sprints instead of a long run for calorie burn once a week - running full pelt for 30 metres 10 x, 2 minutes break, then doing it again, 2 minutes break and one last time - it is an absolute killer (I can only do 2 sets as legs are like lead by the end) - and helps make the longer runs feel less painful.

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/05/2010 12:29

Well done Dinks and have a super hol Porridge, I quite like the idea of a fake tanned baby.

Yes I am trying to do intervals too as I don't see any weight loss from the running anymore and I can't seem to go much faster.

Big half marathon for me in 4 weeks time, will post more later asking for money support.

Aitch · 28/05/2010 13:47

i didn't even biff last night at restaurant with friends and am now further away from ten stone something than ever. boo.

cocolepew · 28/05/2010 14:21

Ishall buy nice ham from M&S, I'm chompin on a sausage at the moment(oo-er).

Managed not to kill workmate, glared and sighed a lot though.

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 14:40

Oh Aitch - maybe your scales are lying to you today too. What do your trousers say? Nil desperandum - keep doing what you're doing and you too will join BO in the 10s...

Coco - well done on not killing workmate!

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 14:43

Oh yes - dresses have arrived. Lovely colours and cuts but v slinky material (and not lined). I fear they may need to be teamed with Good Underwear (aka spanx) to smooth any lumps and bumps out - will try them on over weekend and report back.

Aitch · 28/05/2010 14:58

but you only have five per cent body fat, dinks. what are your lumps and bumps MADE of?

dinkystinky · 28/05/2010 15:27

I have abit more lard on me than that Aitch (but bless you for putting an if only smile on my face) and sadly lumps and bumps are lard around my middle which is annoyingly resistant to being shifted. Good Underwear is my saviour.

BariatricObama · 28/05/2010 16:10

sorry aitch, i was v. celebratory this morning but now am paranoid that i will be 11 4 again tomorrow adn it was some weird blip.

BudaisintheZONE · 28/05/2010 16:57

Just spotted this recipe and thought it sounds like a fab and filling salad.

Well done to all losers!

porridge - you are prob gone now but home you have a great hol.

Foghorn - weighing the in the morning is much better! You are much lighter! I NEVER get on scales any time other than first thing after pee!

DukesOfTripHazard · 28/05/2010 16:58

Have taken plunge and had fringe cut in. Hair dresser best I've ever had. School mums v nice. Apparently I have lost 5/10 years!

Was considering the 'tox but no longer have to look at forehead. Yayyyyyyy!

cocolepew · 28/05/2010 17:21
