I need to zone today otherwise I fear a biffage will creep up. Had to sack the ayah, more money gone.

Now I will have to do the washing up and IRONING myself and it's feckin half-term. Maybe I'll shed a few housework mini kilos?

How am I going to get out to do my running?

Well done coke, when is the pup coming?

MamaG, I got the point about the gimmer shoes hours ago. Stop rubbing it in. In fact I have looked at so many shoes online I dreamt about wedges last night.

BudaisintheZONE · 27/05/2010 09:24

Well done coco!!!!

Am doing well here. IN the zone. Soup and some veg tortilla chips with feta dip for dinner last night. Lots of water. NO wine.

Scales going back down so very hopeful to at least hit that 100 kg tomorrow.

Just did 45 min walk with dog and am planning on doing it again this evening weather permitting OR I will use the Wii Fit.

TMAM - shame about ayah. Will it be easy to find another one?

Had granola, strawberries and dried apricots for breakfast. Going to shower and head into town to potter about shops later. Looking for shoes to wear to ball tomorrow night. Something glam but comfortable. And I have fat wide feet. Won't be easy! I actually do have a pair I can wear so not the end of the world if I don't get some.

Dinky - OMG to insides of bean bag! Nightmare to get up!

Jack - lol at your nice calm girlie playdate! Sorry!

FoghornLeghorn · 27/05/2010 09:36

Well done Coco

Jack - I feel your pain re: playdates - I avoid at all costs most of the time.

Dinky - Polar Bears ! Exactly the type of thing my DDs would do.

Cod - Would normally be v of curry but am so in the zone that I am not

FoghornLeghorn · 27/05/2010 09:39

I am od'ing on water at the minute, can't stop peeing.

Did my Hannah Waterman DVD for the first time in months and it nearly killed me

dinkystinky · 27/05/2010 09:45

Thing is couldnt really get angry at DS1 and his little friends as they were so happy playing polar bears in them. They did help with the first major clean up operation and were v good natured about it all.

Well done to all zoners out there and especially well done to Coco. Would love to know the name of that facewash if you remember it.

TMAM - sorry about your being ayah-less over half term, but sure all that housework will burn a few pounds off. Am positive there's a website somewhere that tells you the calorie burn of things like cleaning windows, dusting, hoovering - tis most amusing in an enlightening kind of way. No wonder 1940s housewives were all v thin! Hope you find a new non-thieving ayah soon.

bobbiewickham · 27/05/2010 10:00

Hello zoners!

Doing okay, but keep biffing on white toast late at night. Think am going to have to go to bed at 8 to stop myself biffing.

Have discovered Innocent veg pots. Had Thai coconut curry yesterday and have a lentil dahl one in the fridge. V nice and virtuous.

Sushi, carrot sticks and reduced fat humous, prawns and sweet chilli dip and tropical fruit sticks to pick at throughout the day (am at work).

Have had a pret very berry breakfast bowl which isn't good, but after the morning I had I did well not to biff three almond croissants, so hey ho.

BariatricObama · 27/05/2010 10:04

bobbie you need to go cold turkey on the toast, it is like crack, you think you can handle it and then one day you wake up being lifted out of your house in a specially adapted crane. i know i have been there... and there was nutella involved as well [shame]

FoghornLeghorn · 27/05/2010 10:06

Nutella on toast - Mmmmm. Especially the knobby bit

bobbiewickham · 27/05/2010 10:10

Knobby bit???

Lol, BO - thing is, I can handle it - I can handle about four slices in one go

Aitch · 27/05/2010 10:21

oatcakes are better than toast, bobs. and nicer. philly and oatcakes... yummm.

i am a squeak over eleven stone now, expect huge celebrations if i ever manage to crack that barrier.

dinkystinky · 27/05/2010 10:25

Bobs - sound like you're prepared for a good day of zoning today. Remember - if you need to biff, biff on clothes, not food. Not great for your pursestrings, but better for your waistline. Toast is so difficult - better to eat it in the morning I think so your body has a chance to use those calories than late at night - the smell of it is just so addictive it makes you want to eat more. The cafe at work is next to the gym where I do my morning pilates and boxing class on Thursdays and Fridays and always smells of toast - takes a gargantuan effort not to veer in there to biff on toast instead of going to my exercise session.

Ooh, Aitch - a stone barrier coming up. So exciting. Weighed myself this morning - am 10 5 now so seem to have lost 4 lbs in 4 days which am very at. Think my scales are lying. Will use the gym ones instead.

BariatricObama · 27/05/2010 10:38

the dog kicking thread has totally kicked off!

bobbiewickham · 27/05/2010 10:40

Jeez, I'm not surprised.

I once posted "kick the cat" on a jokey thread about what to do to relieve frustration. I was kidding, obviously.

I have never been so flamed...

FoghornLeghorn · 27/05/2010 10:54

Knobby bit = the last chunky bit !

Nearly there aitch - I have just this week broke the 11st barrier - you can do it !

BariatricObama · 27/05/2010 11:01

[whispers] i am teetering on 11 stone point too.

dinkystinky · 27/05/2010 11:07

I see the dog kicking thread has been pulled - in active convos one sec, kicked to touch the next....

Aitch · 27/05/2010 11:10

let's push through, ladies.

CheeeseOnToast · 27/05/2010 11:14

I am hoping and praying for a loss this week. i've gone up for the last two weeks

I went to yoga last night which was nice and stretchy and have got a PT session booked for Friday night (oh the glamour - what happened to my wild youth!?) I have had one minor indescretion already this morning - I've had two Tesco mini 'all butter' flapjacks (you know the ones in a little tub, like the M&S ones). It says they are 60 calories each, and as I walked to work (which, according to walkit.com, burned off 316 calories) so I've still got some credits in the bank.

I did prawn curry for dinner last night, and I made my special super-delicious thai rice. I ate ONE TEASPOONS WORTH. I was very proud of myself. Lots of veg in the curry too (red pepper, baby sweetcorn, green beans and spring onions) but I'm not sure how virtuous the curry sauce was... it was a Lloyd G Red Thai Curry jar. Twas delicious though.

And no after dinner snacks.

I WILL be thin.

Was also thinking of doing Jason Vale's seven day, seven pound thing? Anyone else done it? Just need to borrow a juicer from MIL and dedicate myself. I need a boost.

CheeeseOnToast · 27/05/2010 11:15

Oh Bobs, I don't have a microwave, can I cook those Innocent Veg Pots in the oven do you think? Or hob? They sound good.

Aitch · 27/05/2010 11:16

'put down the bun, fatty' does include flapjacks you know...

read this if you want to laugh v hard

bobbiewickham · 27/05/2010 11:23

I think you do need a micro, Cheeese, as they come in plastic pots.

I suppose at a push you could empty the contents into a pan and heat it up on the hob.

They are quite surprisingly yummy.

CheeeseOnToast · 27/05/2010 11:57

That review is hilarious. I'm going to see it on Saturday . Not particularly bothered, although i did enjoy the series, but the first film was dreadful. The review has summed up what I disliked about the first film. Still, I'm going out for lunch with a group of girl friends and having a few drinks then going to the cinema so it's more about the 'outing' than the film, if you know what I mean.

Ooh bobs i might try those veg pots, on the hob. i've heard good things about them!

dinkystinky · 27/05/2010 12:17

I think you can cook the veg pots on the hob (not in the pot of course) - they're good and full of yummy things which are v good for you.

bobbiewickham · 27/05/2010 13:18

Well, I took your advice, dinky, and biffed on clothes.

Just been to Reiss and bought this for night out on Saturday.

Looks better on. Will wear with skinnies and Office strappy sandals.

dinkystinky · 27/05/2010 14:36

Bobs - I followed my own advice and biffed on 2 dresses from my wardrobe.com - mind you used 25% discount so had to be done (code amex25 for anyone who wants it). Like the top - will look pretty on.

For those tesco shoe fans out there, Voucher codes.co.uk have code for 20% off Tesco clothing at the moment.
