No Jack. Please don't. Prob just make my head implode!

CheeeseOnToast · 18/05/2010 20:28

Evenin' all.

Good day today. Busy, felt good after yoga, came back tidied the flat, it is gleaming. DP is now cooking me dinner

Cheesus Buda and Ducky, sounds like you have a lot on your plates (metaphorically speaking o' course) - plough into the vino.

Got some work to do tonight so I'm going to check out, hope things look rosier for all in the morning.

I am drinking a beer

pointydog · 18/05/2010 20:28

are people still dieting then?

cyb · 18/05/2010 20:29

I had cider when I got home. That delish jacques stuff.. i sat on the bench in our front garden drinking it watching ds scooter up and down. I was like white trash

BudaisintheZONE · 18/05/2010 20:30

Yes pointydog. MOST of us are still dieting.

I am determined to get under the 100kilo mark on Friday. Determined I tell ya!

cyb · 18/05/2010 20:30

nah pointy, we're all getting fat and happy now

CheeeseOnToast · 18/05/2010 20:32

oh and Jack, hope you and your DD feel better soon

pointy - I am. To prove, today's unem:

porridge
grilled turkey breast with kurly kale and mushrooms (both steamed)
plum

and THAT'S IT. DP is now cooking bolognaise for me, he'll have it with spaghetti.

Have to say I've noticed a real difference cutting back the carbs. Not done it totally, just avoided bread really and as circumstance would have it, I've not had pasta for about a week. Tummy def flatter. Which is a wonder considering I am pre-monstral.

duckyfuzz · 18/05/2010 20:36

oh dear su, is that for sept? I have jsut taken on a role with LA that prob won't exist this time next year

pointy I am still dieting, most of the time, ish

pointydog · 18/05/2010 20:36

wel done you dieters. Nul points for the rednecks among you.

My eating has gone bonkers. Keep slipping in the odd muffin and popcorn. Not good.

pointydog · 18/05/2010 20:37

bad job news for some? Hope things look up. It can all be so last minute.

cornsillkwearsclogs · 18/05/2010 20:37

Su there'll be loads of jobs in the TES at this time of year are you looking? I hate the looking and applying bit.My ebay dress fits like a dream so I am dead chuffed but it will look even better with less tummy flab.

cocolepew · 18/05/2010 20:43

I did try with the titles, I'm just not up to standard.

I got over excited.

Bulmers do a berry cider now, I'm interested.

DukesOfTripHazard · 18/05/2010 20:47

Arf at What are your trousers telling you? Dinky.

Today was
Porridge with banana
thebestsushiI'veever had. First ever not from M&S, boots, tesco sainsbos. In proper restyrong. Costapacket. Worth every penny.
Grapes
Chicken stirfry and here's where it all falls apart - 4 pot croquetes, 70 cals each. Prob OK in scheme of things.

Wore new skinny jeans - Uniqlo fantastic. Also cardy from there (thanks cyb) really fine black 3/4 length sleeves.

CheeeseOnToast · 18/05/2010 20:58

Ooh dukes what are uniqlo jeans like, are they good? I need to go jeans shopping - my least favourite activity in the world.

DukesOfTripHazard · 18/05/2010 21:06

Well there are brill, frankly. These skinnies are a mid rise and not ultra skinny although they do do an ultra tapered. Very very kind to my mangled midriff and super comfortable. Thirty quid. Not bad. They have boot and straight 'n' cropped 'n' ting too and lots of light colours. Might go back and try black and grey.

Top Shop was delicious but only managed olivey coloured cardy and beautiful cornflower blue nailpolish.

dinkystinky · 18/05/2010 21:11

Evening all. I liked Coco's slimline title - was like the size 0 equivalent of the usual stout title

Buda, Jack, Ducky - sounds like shite days all round for you guys. Thank god its nearly over. Well done for staying in the zone Jack despite everything. Buda - enjoy your wine.

Woop woop for the various compliments pointy and yogi and others have received.

Have exercised again - boxing session with trainer and had tuna steak and stir fried broccoli and chilli for dinner with tiny glass of red wine. About to have a WW yoghurt and herbal tea and then that is me done for the day.

Dukes - sounds like the shopping trip for new slimline you clothes was a success!

Aitch · 18/05/2010 21:26

gah. ice cream and pasta. not v g.

pointydog · 18/05/2010 21:31

butterkist butterkist rah rah rah

dinkystinky · 18/05/2010 21:36

Ahem. Ladies - you are not FEELING THE FEAR. I feel we may have lost our way (to the zone).

Think about why you are trying to get in the zone -what are you losing weight for? For a holiday? For a posh frenchy/sisterzilla wedding? So you look fabulous in your new slinky clothes? Just for the heck of it? Right now you're focused on that, focus on how wonderful you're going to look at when you've reached your goal for that goal/event. Now, find your way to the zone to get there. You can do it. If Coco can zone, we all can....

fishie · 18/05/2010 21:36

uniqlo jeans are best for apple. nice and long in leg, high enough at waist and not loads of spare round bottom. 3d stretch are amazing, dh calls mine disco jeans from 80s, no bagginess. size down an inch.
