God in a good way or a bad way Aitch?

Welldone Fairhaired - that's brilliant stuff!

Jack - have great time away. DH is also a cock behind the wheel (has a high performance car) - he's agreed to sell it within the next year. For the sake of my sanity. And the children. And our marriage.

Aitch · 27/05/2010 21:28

in a great way, dinks. i love it. what's the sizing like? and is it lined in any way?

dinkystinky · 27/05/2010 21:29

Will let you know when I receive it Aitch.

JackBauer · 27/05/2010 21:31

oh well done ff+f! all these size 12's on the thread is veyr impressive!

dinky, he has a bike, so it's worse in a way. Scares me but more because other people are more of a danger to him than he is to them. iyswim!

Did i mention my BIL has got engaged to the girl he has been going out with for 9 months and moved in with ooh, 3 weeks ago?
And spent the 2nd week telling everyoine she was on her 'jam rag'
very funny, will be most amusing this weekend as none of us are very happy about it.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 27/05/2010 21:51

Aw well Jack, he made his bed, now it's time to sleep in it

Have had a lovely dinner of sw chips & a gammon steak with beans & a poached egg

Followed by a massive bowl of grapes, orange & melon.

Dh is on night shifts this week, which means he'll lose about half a stone without even trying, then jump on the scales & look at me smugly.

I'm doing the race for life this Sunday with my sisters & I am literally crapping myself about it... I've not done much training, I can't even run for a full 2 minutes. I'm hoping adrenaline & the fact that so many people are running too will make me want to run

JackBauer · 27/05/2010 22:00

Oh bums, I forgot about the race forf life, I want to do it this year but not sure if DH can get the day off, and everyone I know is runnign it too, shite.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 27/05/2010 22:13

When's your local one on Jack?

I know they're all on on differnt days throughout the country.

Mine is at Stormont (Belfast) on Sunday at 11am.

Undertone · 27/05/2010 22:36

'ello all

just back from late opening shops - i bought this from selfridges

bank account - sad.

undertone - happy.

yay for dresses.

cyb · 27/05/2010 22:37

nice Undie

what shoes

Undertone · 27/05/2010 22:49

Brown courts?

ballet pumps for striding about.

Whaddya think? Recommendations?

BudaisintheZONE · 28/05/2010 06:14

Fairhaired - well done on skinnies! And huge well done on 3 stone! That's fantastic. Have you namechanged?

coco - are you eating enough protein if you are hungry all the time?

Jack - I would be terrified of motorbikes! As a car driver I often don't notice them till they appear right beside me. Am terrified I will hit one one day.

Nice dress Undertone. I LOVE Selfridges. Used to work very close by and spent a LOT of time there. I once lost the plot in office and threw a file across the room at my boss and stormed out. It was in days before mobile phones so he got a friend to come after me. She knew EXACTLY where I would be.... Selfridges! We had a nice long lunch (on boss) and a potter about and then I went home. I did go back to work the next day. To an apology from boss as he knew he had been a dick.

Anyway. On to more important things. Weigh in day. Drum roll please..............

99.9 kilos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which is 15 st 10 (a whisker under)
Which means I have broken the 100 kg mark AND lost a stone. VERY pleased.

Hope everyone else has done well too. Thread title is SO right. NOTHING tastes as good as being slim (or getting there!) feels.

cyb · 28/05/2010 06:46

HIGH 5 to Buda. A stone is brilliant

glad to hear you are still in the zone!

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/05/2010 07:15

Hooorrraaayyyy Buda. Well done you, what a great job you have done.

Good luck ff+f, you will be fine I'm sure, the adrenaline will kick in and the atmosphere is always enough to keep you going.

Love the dresses, but the red one is amazing, .

at going shopping.

BudaisintheZONE · 28/05/2010 07:24

Thanks guys! Still very happy!! Much happier than I would be if I had had lots of the crap I used to love!

BariatricObama · 28/05/2010 07:44

I'll chear you on from my sofa F&F.

And no, no more cheap crisps.

cocolepew · 28/05/2010 07:58

What protein can I eat as a snack? [dense]

BariatricObama · 28/05/2010 07:59

cheers coco, i couldn't have done it without you! 1 lb off the stone.

cornsilkcottagecheese · 28/05/2010 08:01

Still zoning here. Will check out target shorts for muffin spelliage today. Hoping to see less of an overspill, more of a ripple.

cocolepew · 28/05/2010 08:01

Really, a stone is amazing Well done all you stoners [impressed]

BariatricObama · 28/05/2010 08:05

not quite a stone yet coco. i can't quite believe it, i will probably be back to 11 4 tomorrow.

i was out last night and biff on eton mess when i got in. meringues are obviously in the zone.

cocolepew · 28/05/2010 08:07

obviously, they're only air.

Off to work with the most boring, irritating woman ever. I'm trying not to throttle her before the end of june. It's a struggle tbh.

CheeeseOnToast · 28/05/2010 08:08

Wow, some impressive posts over the last few hours. AMAZING dresses Dinky, I especially love the red one. Bet they look amazing on, designer 'cut's are so much better than high street (in my admittedly very limited experience!!) Like yours too, undertone. Could v easily dress that up or down, eh.

Ok, weigh-in time... I have lost weight this week!! Not by much, i'm now 9 stone 3. I think I was 9 stone 3.8 last week, and 9 stone 4.3 the week before that. So that's... more than a pound in two weeks. But only really started properly zoning over the last week. I'm pleased with that, it's certainly going in the right direction again.

So, got personal training tonight, will walk the 3 miles into work, and I have my standby snacks of activia yoghurt (the nat yog with a layer of prune on the bottom, they are delicious) and apples. Will have soup for lunch.

Well done Buda, and BO!!!! And everyone else!

cyb · 28/05/2010 08:11

coco when I am organised I have that ready sliced chicken in the fridge or nice ham to chomp on.

One piece seems to do the trick whereas one crisp or one weeny biscwit never does
