RIGHT

OP posts:
Aitch · 20/05/2010 23:57

oh dear, those white bits do sound like hatched eggs... the guy who fell out must have been an adult on his way somewehere else.

btw i know i'm sounding obsessed but how is this a silk dress when it says it's polyester? and therefore off my list as not fooking worth £139.

BudaisintheZONE · 21/05/2010 06:50

No loss. Am .2 of a kilo up on yesterday. Bah. Really wanted to get under 100. Or even to 100.

LOL at Gamam being sad she was told off. You were rude you rude thing you!

cyb · 21/05/2010 07:36

Aitch looks like a cock up on the website. love that dress though! Its wild

cocolepew · 21/05/2010 08:04

I'm never mean
Though I did have to bollock a woman in our Spar for conning my 8 yo DD out of her change last night. Bitch.

JackBauer · 21/05/2010 08:22

15 13!!!!!!!!!!!
I am below 16 stone for the first time in at least 5 years! Hoofuckingrah!

Sorry buda, the reason I wasn't locing this week is because I came on this morning, could that be why?

I do like that dress but at silk/polyester

You have to just go into the shop and try it on, I doubt they can label something silk when it isn't tbh, maybe they just mean the lining is poly?

BudaisintheZONE · 21/05/2010 09:07

Yay! Go Jack. Go Jack. Etc. Etc.!

Well done you. You deserve it as you have worked so hard.

Don't think I am due on. Although I did lose it with DS this morning when I tried to give him cough medicine before school and he spat it all over the floor. No. I think it is because I have done NO exercise this week. Those walks with the dog are obv doing something. Roll on next week when normal service will resume.

We are having friends over for dinner tomorrow so am trying to plan menu and then need to go shopping. There will be biffing tomorrow night but that's ok. I have been really good all week.

I am like you Jack in that this is now a way of eating. Not a diet. The foods I am eating are healthy and wholesome. I feel great. Am a lot less bloated. The weight loss will come.

coco = good on you for the bollocking of spar lady.

JackBauer · 21/05/2010 09:36

coco, what did she do?!

Just done measurements and am v bloated this week, put on a cm, which does not bode well for jean trying on tomorrow, not that I will get a birthday anyway as DH is still feeling like shite. He is supposed to be in work 1-9 and I think he should call in sick, but this is his last day before 10 days off so he doesn't wnt people to think he is scamming for 11 days. So he will make himself iller, the big wally. Just hope they take one look and make him come home.

Aitch · 21/05/2010 09:52

omg! it's so BRILLIANT when you go under that crucial stone marker Jack, well done! congratulations!

Aitch · 21/05/2010 09:53

and yes it must be a site cock up and mean the lining, mustn't it? am going to head into town next week... must get back in zone.

dinkystinky · 21/05/2010 09:56

Hmm Cyb - agree with Aitch. You prob do have nits then. The buggers hate tea tree oil - maybe use tea tree oil based shampoo and conditioner and nitty gritty again?

Aitch - am at dress description too.

Jack - hurrah for measurements. Sorry DH is stil feeling crap and hope work send him home.

Buda - stay in the zone my friend - you know you can do it and hopefully if you get back to the exercise next week you'll have a fab loss.

Not weighed self yet today - will do so at gym at lunchtime - but am expecting a gain.

Themasterandmargaritas · 21/05/2010 10:01

JAck, awesome buddy, well done you. Don't worry Buda it's your turn soon, I feel it in my runes.

Surely it must be silk Aitch, give them a call. The Monsoon one says it is 100% silk.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 21/05/2010 10:10

Jack - that is fantastic. Well done you.

No movement here but AF is due so am happy with that. I don't think of it as a diet anymore - it's just what I eat.

Aitch - I like that dress.

On the nit front - never had them - but mum was a teacher so I constantly had my hair scraped back to prevent it and had to examine her for sign of nits if she so much as scratched her head.

Coco - I'm at Spar lady - that's baaad.

JackBauer · 21/05/2010 10:13

Thanks guys.
DH can't be that bad as he has just gone to get a new rear tire for the bike, and taken DD1 too...Man Flu is crippling, unless your motorbike needs work, obviously

NO idea what I am eating today, have chicken stir fry to cook that i forgot to have yesterday and chicken curry from teh other day that I really am not in the mood for.
G

JackBauer · 21/05/2010 10:14

That was weird...

Girls are not eating anything anyway so I have given up trying to cook nice things for them. Last night they had tesco value pizzas with extra cheese, and wolfed the whole lot, of course.

bobbiewickham · 21/05/2010 10:16

Right, I'm bloody fed up.

I've been quite good this week - only a couple of bad days, but they were days when I ate the wrong things, rather than lots of things, iyswim. Like, running out of time so having toast rather than a proper meal.

And I had some maltesers at the ballet. And then there was ferrerogate.

BUT

Surely all the zoney meals should balance it out?

I've put on a pound! Which means after all these weeks, I'm only three pounds lighter than I was when I started!

BUT

My clothes are looser, and a size 12 skirt I bought from gap is actually a bit big.

Oh, hell. Am all confused and demotivated.

Aitch · 21/05/2010 10:19

believe in your trousers, bobs, and remember the threadkiller post that jack did on the other thread...

dinkystinky · 21/05/2010 10:24

Bobs - believe in your trousers/skirt band. You have lost weight - that extra pound may just be fluid retention. And FWIW it often takes a week or so for being zone like to show on the scales. And 3 lbs lighter is better than 3lbs heavier - go look at the ladyluck website - there is a picture of a pound of fat on there which looks gopping. You've lost 3 of those - its a GOOD THING.
Know what you mean about being demotivated though - several weeks on my 10 6 plateau demotivated me, plus illness and no loss, to biffing. I KNOW I've put on weight (my kegs tell me so) so now at least am motivated to lose it again...

bobbiewickham · 21/05/2010 10:25

Yes.

I need to man up.

Let's face it, all the sushi and salad in the world isn't going to cancel out maltesers, FR and toast, is it?

If I could just cut out the crap I would be so healthy. My meals are exemplary.

bobbiewickham · 21/05/2010 10:25

You are kind, dinky

CheeeseOnToast · 21/05/2010 10:30

I am also feeling down. weighed in this morning at 9stone 3.8. WTF!??!? I've been mostly really good this week. I've had virtually no alcohol. I would normally have a glass or two a night, but I haven't at all this week, apart from the two lychee cocktails I had last night which were just lychee juice and gin.

I only bloody started this at 9 stone 6. That was about 6 weeks ago! I'm so upset. What's the point. looks like I'm destined to be this weight.

Well done Jack, that's really great news . Super dooper.

I was hoping to get under 9 stone this week, hah.

dinkystinky · 21/05/2010 10:45

Cheeeeese - see my above post to Bobs - it applies to you too. Everyone listen to my new mantra "THE CLOSER YOU ARE TO GOAL THE HARDER IT IS TO LOSE THE LBS - BUT LB BY LB WE WILL WIN THIS BATTLE" and repeat it to yourselves...

Cheese you've been going to the gym alot this week - could be water retention while your body is figuring wtf is going on with all this exercise. Stay zoned and you may well see results next week. And what do your trousers tell you? I know you've been fitting in size 10s - that is more important that what the scales say IME.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 21/05/2010 11:03

Bobs - listen to your trousers. They are a better barometer than the scales.

Dinks is right - we will get there but healthy weightloss is slow.

You do need to keep control of the calorie intake EVERYDAY, no treats - portion control, cut out booze, do food diaries, tell us when you fancy biffing and get shouted at! And even sometimes when you do all that you still plateau. You have to KEEP GOING.

Cheeese - There are going to be weeks when you retain more fluid, but don't use it as an excuse to go "off piste". I plateaued at 9st and I could feel my resolve slipping, you need to mentally push through that. COME ON WOMAN!

Three pounds is three pounds lighter.

BariatricObama · 21/05/2010 11:41

11 2 (.6) for me. so a wee bit more than last week but considering the extended weekend of biffing i am pleased.

jack whoo hoo! high 5. you go girl

bobbie - hang in there i have kind of stagnated but have to face the fact that i just need to eat less and exercise more.

JackBauer · 21/05/2010 12:51

Am snurking at 'Believe In Your Trousers Luke' but it is so true. All of mine are too loose now, shame I only have a ton to spend on new clothes really

I did start a new thread here with the scales post on so we can read it whenever but then ahd to go out so forgot to link!

Cheeese, go and pick up a pack of butter. That's half a lb.
You have lost 6 packs of butter. That's loads! Don't be disheartened. It didn't go on in a few months and it won't come off in a few months.

JackBauer · 21/05/2010 14:17

Helloooo

Dh ahs just called, he's been in work half an hour and is being sent home (he's the 2nd in command, and the boss isn;t in, he just can't argue with the office mums (who are old enough to be our mums...) apparently I'm in trouble for letting him go in)
