it must Never Be Mentioned Again.

OP posts:
FairhairedandFrustrated · 12/05/2010 20:42

I just clicked on that fuckin shiney thread. Why's their title almost the same as this one? (this prob has been discussed 97.5 times, but I have been off getting slim....

Lost another 1lb this week, making he 8st 13lb for the first time in YEARS.... I'm 1.5lb away from having lost 3 stone & I'm hoping to have that off next week, though I have two meals out planned this weekend (events I can't get out of) One is a ball on Friday night & I got a gorg dress from Coast but can't find it online - it's a gorg blue shade, like midnight, or royal? (am shit at shades) with silver sandals (pike) I'd rather have shoes but silver shoes in a size 2 were reather scarce in town today.

Will read thread now.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 12/05/2010 20:46

I got one of those last year Jack. Is nice esp for norky gals. I wear it arms in and both tails to back, double knottage. Looks good but you have to sit VVVVV far forward when driving cos presses on yer back. Oh and it has developed a hole. So quality Bit Shit. But nice, don't be put off!!

bobbiewickham · 12/05/2010 20:46

I said, No NO NO.

And just hoicked it.

NomDePlume · 12/05/2010 20:53

did I just see on another thread that LGAT is pg again ? What number is that ? 8 ? I thought she'd just had one ?!

BudaisintheZONE · 12/05/2010 20:53

Hi folks

Su - I love my iPhone too. Although mning is not that easy on it. I don't do Twitter. I love everything about my iPhone but am not addicted. Still addicted to mn on the pc.

You're never alone with an iPhone!!!

Bobbie - can't believe you threw yours in river!!!

Jack - told dh about jeans with diff leg lengths - he suggests I wear them while drunk and nobody will notice as I will be leaning to one side anyway! Funny man.

Food today
granola for bfast
natural yoghurt for snack
slice rye bread with hummus and sAlad for lunch
4 oatcakes with Philly light for snack
chicken fajitas for dinner - I had one tortilla, yoghurt instead of sour cream and salsa instead of cheese

didn't have any fruit today - must change that tomorrow

Met a teacher at ds's school today who has been off on maternity leave. She was in with baby to meet her dh who is also a teacher in the school. Was asking if she was coming back next year and she said she is- part time , doing a job share. She will be job sharing with her dh. How cool is that? They are both fab teachers too. Win win situation all round I think.

dinkystinky · 12/05/2010 20:56

She announced it on this thread a while ago Nom (in low key kinda way) - both her and Reshape are preggers. Everyone else on the thread has had their legs firmly crossed ever since

dinkystinky · 12/05/2010 20:57

P.s. well done Fairhaired on the weight loss. Great stuff.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 12/05/2010 20:58

arms in? SO like sleeveless?
I have bought 16/18 in fit of madness, I am still a 20 afaik...but I figure a nice wrap cardy will hide shit cheap clothes while I lose all my weight.
Thin k have hit end of 'shock to system' weigh loss as it seems to be sticking at 16 1 this week, but hey ho, was to be expected.

'Lo fairhaired, yes, it's anoying, but meh, what can we do?

NomDePlume · 12/05/2010 20:59

I missed it.

I knew that reshape was up the duff but thought that LGAT had not long had a baby and was sure she'd said "never again" after that on . LOL. Is this one no8 ? Congrats LGAT !

PortBlackandRat · 12/05/2010 21:00

I have started eating separately from Dcs - i find this is helping. When we all sit down together i tend to cook more food (chops, chips etc.). If it's just me or just me and DH i'm up for an omelette. I'm hoping this will work....

n.b. i am feeding my DCs too just earlier .

I read somewhere that the more folks you live with (partner, parents, children) the fatter you tend to be. Don't know if this is true or not but i did lose alot of weight at uni when i lived & cooked alone (despite drinking at least 2 pts of beer a night ).

dinkystinky · 12/05/2010 21:03

Me too Portblack - thats cos I was living on the tequila and twinkies diet

I'm finding if I try to eat while my kids are around -but outside of their meal times - its great for weightloss as they tend to mug me for the food. Now know why my mates with boys are skinny as rakes...

NomDePlume · 12/05/2010 21:05

we still all sit down together round the table (I insist on it) and eat together but I eat different things 4/7 nights a week

dinkystinky · 12/05/2010 21:05

Can we have our next thread title as nothing tastes as good as being slimey feels and see if we confuse the frick out of the shiney lot?

NomDePlume · 12/05/2010 21:06

the stupid e in shiney makes me irrationally and disproportionately cross every time I see it

PB&R, my ma lived with 9 other people & was a size 10, still is now & she's 70!

Jack, dunno what we can do, but at least two people on this thread are Norn Irish - surely some sort of threat may be conjured up

My spin classes are both cancelled next week. The spin teacher is on holidays inconsiderate bitch maybe I should walk instead? But it's boring. I tried running but I got sweaty & couldn't breathe right.

dinkystinky · 12/05/2010 21:08

How old are your kids Nom? Mine are still quite young and go ballistic if they eat any later than 5.20 (DS2 especially) whereas DH often isnt home till around 8ish so eating together as a family isnt going to happen for an awfully long time I guess.

Yeah, I never usually 'get' jokes.

Even things other people think are funny....

I must miss out on a lot.

cyb · 12/05/2010 21:11

fair haired, run like you are 80 years old, your breathing will calm down quicker, if I go too fast I cant breathe either.

dinkystinky · 12/05/2010 21:12

Shiney - I dont really have a problem with your nickname spelling or your homage to the slim thread. Just wish I didnt keep almost posting on your thread by accident due to flu addled brain.
