dinky, they are big, big and quite so big (18, 16.5 & 7.5) so yes, I agree it's for them to hang on the older they are. DD used to eat before us until she was about 4.5 or so. Like your house, DH doesn't get in from work until later (after 6) so she would have been climbing the walls by that point.

It basically starts you off really easy but it does work, here

Brisk five-minute warmup walk. Then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes.

do that 3 times the first week and then you do longer runs the next week. I went from dying after a 60 second run to doing 5 k nonstop in 3 months, oh yes.

I got what you meant in your post Nom - yep, looking forward to the kids being older so we can eat together but suspect that wont be for an awfully long time yet. My sister and I used to eat with our folks really late on from early on - around 8pm from when we were 3 and 6 if I recollect correctly - but my kids have v different body clocks.
