lets just pretend that other thread Never Happened.

it must Never Be Mentioned Again.

OP posts:
cocolepew · 10/05/2010 20:55

I would just be the dirty child sitting at the back of the class scratching

cocolepew · 10/05/2010 20:56

Am I the only one being GOOD?!?, 4 weeks and not a bad thing has passed my lips.

cocolepew · 10/05/2010 20:57

Right off to read my book.

Laters taters.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 10/05/2010 20:59

I am sort of good.
I had some banan bread for lunch but I was out, I had made it (so I know it wasn't that bad) and it was a considered choice.
And I had some a small rice krispie cake, but apart from that I have been mega!

Poor dinky, bloody enablers at work.

OH OH, I didn't tell you what some fat fucking SKANK said to me at playgroup this morning when I turned down a biscuit.
'SO, are you still doing this diet then?'
'Yes, I;ve lost over a stone in 3 weeks!'

'Really? It doesn't show.'

RAAAARGH

Aitch · 10/05/2010 21:09

oh dear Jack, what a colossal fuckbitch your colleague is. i do like the sound of her.

dinkystinky · 10/05/2010 21:11

Hmm, we can send our trojan coco to go sort that fat skank out Jack. Rude mare. You're doing excellently - and your measurements show how brilliantly you're doing.

Carrying on the report theme...

MamaG - likes to play the class clown. Spelling could benefit from a bit more practice.

Jack - a natural at french and crochet. Sometimes falls in with the strident crowd but in the top quartile of the class.

Coco - top of the class.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 10/05/2010 21:19

Aitch, she's not a colleague, she's just another fat mum at playgroup who is jealous because I am losing weight and she isn't. Cos she is a biffer.

Am liking fuckbitch v much though

Aitch · 10/05/2010 21:23

lolol, she's priceless. i like her.

anyway you never did answer the question of how you've managed to amputate so much of your body in such a short time... i think my weight loss might have been quite easy because i've not been eating bread and pasta... i'm now wondering if i have some sort of allergy, i just seem to have deflated. what about you?

PortBlackandRat · 10/05/2010 21:24

Helloooo

Long time lurker on this thread (but have been on MN for ages - someone on here might 'know' me).

I really need to lose 2.5 stone (at least) - am currently 12.7....

Have a couple of big parties in August so that's quite an incentive. I have not bothered too much about general skin, nail etc. health for quite a while too. I am looking forward to taking care of me a bit more if poss with everything else going on in my life....

Is there any hope for me?

cyb · 10/05/2010 21:25

yes yes ye sport black of course it can be done. it HAS been done. you just have to consider every mouthful and think

'I'LL BE HAPPIER AND WEIGH LESS IF I DON'T EAT THIS' when faced with temptation. Show your fat body who is boss!

PortBlackandRat · 10/05/2010 21:28

LOL @ sport black - i like that!

I like the no nonsense on this thread. Tis what i need not molly coddling. Eat it and get fat etc. This is good.

PortBlackandRat · 10/05/2010 21:29

And i have bought a bike recently - i look a bit like Miss Piggy on it but at least i'm cycling....

cyb · 10/05/2010 21:33

we havent really emphasised the exercise on here tooo much. I am guilty I know of going to the gym then eating like a pig afterwards, feeling I'd earnt more calories. The change in eating will pay bigger dividends I reckon.

We will be horrible (but forgiving) if you come off the rails but go RAH RAH RAH when you lose

come, join us!

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 10/05/2010 21:36

My mantra is (thanks to smallish)
There's nothing lucky about it, fatso, just put that bun down

Aitch, I was a pig, I used to eat packets of biscuits at a time and crisps and 2 or 3 slices of toast at once for brek. As well as hoovering DD's leftovers. And a few chocolate bars a day. It was disgusting what I used to eat TBH.
Just cutting all that out will have halved my calorie intake.
I was badly bloated as well, and I think a load of the inches is down to less bloatedness.

Also, My mum and one sister are wheat intolerant and my mum and my bro are lactose intolerant, so it is entirely possible I am. Just cutting out all the wheat apart from breakfast which is just muesli will have made a difference.

Am waiting for it to tail off tbh, if it carries on like this much longer I am goign to get a bit concerned

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 10/05/2010 21:37

Hello Port! btw, that mantra was for you too but I forgot to say

I have been making sure I excercise everyday as well, even if it's just a walk and some sit ups etc.

Aitch · 10/05/2010 21:41

ban the bloat, ladies. that's what i think when faced with pasta nowadays. and while i am still eating bread, i am doing so consciously, because i love bread, not because i have ham in the house and want something quickly for lunch.

portblack, i reckon i was 12 and a half at the beginning or so of March, am hovering around 11 2 now, so yes all possible.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 10/05/2010 21:41

I can't believe that Coco is whupping my butt on the diet front. I'VE TURNED INTO COCO. Except my choice of cheesy corn snack is ball shaped.

Jack - how did you retrain yourself from nutting that woman? Get your zorro mask on and do it next time.

Hello sport black and welcome. What's your plan?

And please can we all have a chat about nail health...please? Mine are flaking orf.

cyb · 10/05/2010 21:42

voulez I used to eat like you too. SOO much toast. With butter. Toast while I was talking on the phone. Toast when I got in from work. Toast left on peoples plates. Toast before bed.

When I was stressed, or happy. (NEVER when I was hungry, funnily enough) All dripping with butter AND peanut butter sometimes.

I cannot imagine how many calories I have stopped imbibing since I packed that lot in.

And biscuits! who was I kidding?

cyb · 10/05/2010 21:43

aitch you ahve done really well.. I think we need a round up summary of height weight started and weight now

for my records

and for the certificates I will be laminating at work.

dinkystinky · 10/05/2010 21:44

Welcome Port- Cyb and Su and Dukes and Reshape have all hit their goals, Coco used to be the wotsit-light-relief on our thread but has seen the light and become our poster girl, Aitch is going an alternative route to WW but going great guns on her weight loss mission and Buda and VV/Jack are having a weight-off going on - you want to lose weight, you're in the right place for it.

The rest of us are alternatively plateauing or biffing or (more rarely) zoning (.i.e. being good) on our way to our targets.

Oh yes - and on our thread poos are known as MamaGs.

There, that's all you need to know I think.

Aitch · 10/05/2010 21:44

at the height of my breastfeeding anxiety it was not unknown for me to consume an entire family pack of kitkats. (ironically enough)

Aitch · 10/05/2010 21:46

(my alt route is just giving up pasta... i was a biiiiig pasta eater. apart from that, conscious bread occasionally and conscious brown rice. and french fries, obv, when biffing).

i recommend ratatouille as a lunch standby, it's LUSH and virtuous and filling and easy to portion and have in the freezer.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecJACK · 10/05/2010 21:47

I tell you what though, I had a mild epiphany when I saw my weight but without you guys getting cross and egging me on I would have given up.
Now, only 3 weeks later it is sooo much easier.

Did you know bread went mouldy if it wasn't eaten? I have neevr had it in the hosue long enough

Anyway
Height 5ft 9
Start weight 17st 4lb
Current weight 16st 1lb
in under a month

Wooooooooooooooo!

PortBlackandRat · 10/05/2010 21:48

Yay to healthy eating rather than over the top exercise

My weakness too is booze (i socialise alot in my job) and comfort eating when bored.

My plan - um - i'm currently weighing myself every monday and friday and plan to lose 3 lbs every two weeks. But i have been thinking with my personality type i might be better off really going for it instead....to get quicker results. Not sure.

Thankyou for not making me feel like a gate crasher...
