New thread, old one too big.

Go!

jaffa cakes are no good for me. if i eat one i have to eat the whole packet.

dinkystinky · 07/05/2010 11:42

You know you can get little packs of only 3 jaffa cakes BO? They're brilliant - work out as 2.5 WW points for the pack. Rich tea finger works out as 1 point - you just need to only have one or two.

dinkystinky · 07/05/2010 11:42

And Exterminator booked for next Saturday - those little vermins days in the zone are numbered.

BariatricObama · 07/05/2010 11:43

i am going to give up all biscuits for a week. mark my words, if i manage ti i will be down 2 lbs

BariatricObama · 07/05/2010 11:46

coco come hither

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 07/05/2010 11:51

Hooray for exterminator, are you going to taunt the mice until then?

WELL DONE LOSERS!

Buda, the race is still on, I have only lost 1lb overall this week, stil quite chuffed after major biffage at the weekend with drinking and DD2 being ill and I was weighing 16 6 midweek, so back down to 16 3 now....Not going out this weekend though, and DD2 is fine, so am back on course, plus DH seems to have caught a d+v bug, so fingers crossed

Well done sue and cyb, must feel awesome to reach goal, you both shoudl be very chuffed. Bit cross that you are thinking of leaving us though, you will have to pop in now and then to shout at us!

Still a bit about gym, the problem I ahve is I still don't have anyone to watch DD's which is why I didn't get my mum to pay for it last year when she offered, and a class/workout is 2 hours. DH works random shifts (7-3or 4 or 1-9 or 10) so I can't depend on him being around for a set class. Hmmm...
Would be so much easier if I had somewhere for DD2 to go in the mornings while DD1 is at school but we do stuff togetehr every morning so woudl be hard.

must stop waffling, sorry.

dinkystinky · 07/05/2010 12:02

Jack - there's often a creche attached to local council gyms which could work out really well for you. Definitely worth looking into it. And you could take the girls swimming etc. or if a friend is a member you could take it in turns looking after kids while one of you gets a work out.

Yup - will be telling the mice their days are numbered. Am going to be sitting on the sofa with DS1's water pistol tonight to squirt any of the buggers I see

BO - am with you on the no biscuit diet.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 07/05/2010 12:24

There is a creche, it only runs 9-12 though and DD2 and I go to playgroups etc then as that is when DD1 is in school so I would feel bad not taking her to see all her little friends and dunmping her in the veyr small one room creche (I did when she was little bt she is 2.5 now)

bobbiewickham · 07/05/2010 12:29

Phew dinky and other lifers

I thought I was going have to start talking to myself for a minute there...

BudaisintheZONE · 07/05/2010 12:33

I'll be here for aagggees. Am just over 16 stone but initial goal is 10st 10.

Dinky - thank God DH is seeing sense!

Jack - have you got a friend with a little friend for DD that might want to join gym too? Then you could go together and put DCs in creche together?

dinkystinky · 07/05/2010 12:33

There are cakes and donuts in the kitchen next to my office for someone's biff day. Am I going to eat them? No. Am I going to go for a walk to ensure I dont eat them? Yes. I am joining the mice in the zone.

See what you mean about the creche JB - though am sure you'd be able to get to the gym twice a week when DH is around to look after the girls (and you dont need to do classes - get a programme with weights and machines drawn up for you and you'll be fine).

CybilLiberty · 07/05/2010 12:46

Oh I wont be leaving thead! I still need to be kept on the straight and narrow. Plus I like chatting to you lot!

Went to work this morning, and was asked to walk a load of year 2's down to a windy football field for a tournament.

I was not dressed for the occasion, wearing silver glads, wide legged thin trews, belted cardi and thats it (plus top)

Loads of dishy young fottball coaches there (MamaG). Younngg Maaaan!

I had to borrow the school dinner ladies fleee which was about 4 foot across. Still froze my bollocks off. Dagnabbit

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 07/05/2010 14:10

lol @ cyb and her sexy fleece.

CheeeseOnToast · 07/05/2010 15:49

lol Cyb - 'ooh yoooung maaan! At yourrr age!!' brilliant.

So. Who's with me on a biscuit ban next week? Starting Monday?

OP posts:
pointydog · 07/05/2010 15:50

Been dieting for nearly 4 weeks and am now 11st exackerly so lost 8lb. Am aiming for 10st 7 for summer.

pointydog · 07/05/2010 15:51

I banned bicsuits at the start of my diet, you pussies

CybilLiberty · 07/05/2010 16:08

pointy word up on the weight loss! Thats faberooni. How tall are you? (I like to picture people)

And Cheese...oh darling cheese...a biscuit ban this late in the game? you should have banned them FROM THE START

now drop and gimme 50

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 07/05/2010 16:10

Who are you calling a pussy, pointydog?
I haven't had a biscuit since 15 February, at 11.03 am. Not that I'm counting or anything obviously.

That's what we are on this thread, hard core.

CybilLiberty · 07/05/2010 16:11

saying that I ahve just had a matchbox sized piece of toy story birthday cake. YUCK

it was not as delicious as being slim feels by any stretch of the imagination

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 07/05/2010 16:12

Ooh Cyb, I think you should take over Su's mantle of fear and humiliation. It suits you, in fact it's quite loose around the waist.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 07/05/2010 16:16

Biscuit ban? Do you mean from teh rest of the family eating them in front of me?
Not had a biscuit in 3 weeks, empty carbs, innit.

Cyb, just readint that I felt cold, bet you looked stylish with the fleece

Buda, I have a friend who goes already witha dd the same age BUT I like my mornings with her, we go to playgroups so I can meet my mates and to the PTA coffee thing so I can keep up on school goss, it's the only other adult company I get all week and I don't want to give that up for exercise

had chat with DH and we agreed I would do a class a week depending on his shift and he would make sure I had an hour a day to do something, much easier than finding 2 hours.

pointydog · 07/05/2010 16:26

I am 5 6 I think so not as statuesque as yourself, cyb.

corection: when I said 'you pussies' I only meant cheese

Having said all that, I had another half slice of mu mum's millionaires' shortbread today. But previous calorie consumption was v v good.

BariatricObama · 07/05/2010 16:29

i am baking lemon and raspberry muffins. god give me strength!!!!!!!!

loving the diner lady chic cyb

DukesOfTripHazard · 07/05/2010 16:39

Went to Sainsbos. Conveyor belt looked like that bit in You are What You Eat where McKeith shows them what they're going to be eating now they've given up the junk

Then had a ridiculous neurotic panic when I realised I hadn't bought any rye bread. But I think things are going to be OK

DukesOfTripHazard · 07/05/2010 16:41

BO feel your pain. Just get rid of them all into children in manner of crazed feeder.
