MamaGlee, lol at the v-flick boogie. I used to do stuff like that all the time. Like being overheard swearing and turning it into a song.

ZoneArmatrading (which one are you again?) - there has been progression on the dress thread. It's in Style and Beauty in big block capitals.

To sum it up, I think I've bought a crap dress, couldn't believe how crap it was and thought I must be doing it wrong.

11 stone 7 and 3/4 this morning, pre- MamaG!

Oh no - icelendic ash stopping your hol? Not good Commiserations.

Kitten is now officially Magnus - Mags for short. V funny. Kids are in love. Old cat's litter tray was too tall for him yest so he is currently crapping in an A4 box file filled with litter. Hmm.

Am just a whisker past 11st today. Dh is out tonight so will eat lunch with my Dad then snack for tea. Hoping for Great Things tomorrow's weighin. I'm owed it surely?

My Iberia flight is cancelled - they said they'd try to get us on a later flight, but this could go on for days - ash is v light and stays up for ages.

And I was going to eat LOADS. I've been starving myself all week.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 09:00

Magnus v good name. They're very good at knowing where to crap right from the start, aren't they? Handy little things.

MmeLindt · 15/04/2010 09:00

Oh, how annoying, Reshape. I just saw that on the news. Have you heard if the flight is cancelled?

None of them chips, but all very fattening.

MrsShu · 15/04/2010 09:02

yes parents broteher( and family) and his ILs all stuck in roma

MrsShu · 15/04/2010 09:02

( his flight cancelled, told them to get a car and drive it)

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 09:04

At least they're stuck somewhere nice, Su!

I am stuck in Oxfordshire. Hmph.

MrsShu · 15/04/2010 09:04

hmm no accom though

MmeLindt · 15/04/2010 09:06

Was just thinking that if I had to be stuck somewhere, I would like it to be Rome.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 09:06

Ooh, that's not good. Car maybe best move - nice scenic trip. (How long would that take??)

BudaisintheZONE · 15/04/2010 09:09

Volcanic ash not good - sorry about your holiday Reshape.

We are supposed to be flying back to Budapest tomorrow - may not be now. Oh well.

MmeLindt · 15/04/2010 09:12

Rome to UK would be a horror trip in a car.

Here to Rome is about 8 hours I guess, and the same from here to Calais.

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 09:14

oh what a rotten shame, reshape. definitely go somewhere else in the car, weather's nice.

magnus vg name.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 09:18

We're probably going to the Cotswold Wildlife Park instead. BUT THEY WON'T SERVE TAPAAAAAS!

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 09:19

it's not as good, is it? won't even try to deny it.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 09:23

Oh well, probably meant to happen. I was really conflicted about leaving DS for four days. Typically, as soon as I heard this on the news, I really wanted to go! First break away from DS since he was born.

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 09:26

you should still go without him, even if only for a night. if you've got the babysitter lined up and everything. at least this way you can drive home and grab him if you miss him too much.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 09:37

Not sure where I'd go though. DH is already in Spain (conference, hence cheap minibreak since his grant already paid for hotel room!) and I don't really fancy (or can afford) going off by myself for a night.

Oh well. Think of all the pounds I would've put on in Spain.

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 09:43

oh i see, oh that is a really rotten shame, then.

Oh, I'm going to try to stop stropping about it now. (and not sulk about the make-up I was going to buy in duty free...) Thanks for all the sympathy!

Dandy - don't beat yourself up about chocolate. It's done. Don't do it again.

MmeLindt · 15/04/2010 09:59

I have done nothing but EAT EAT EAT for days, Dandy. Forget about it. Start again.

Started my period today so that is why I have been such a glutton, always get the munchies.

Do something special with DS this weekend, Reshape. You have budgeted for it, both food and money wise.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 15/04/2010 10:10

Yes, we'll go to the wildlife park with his grandparents (who are kindly staying to help me out anyway) and maybe something else on saturday. And DH and I are planning a quickie weekend break to Bruges instead, later on this spring (given that we've already done all the agonising about leaving 2 yr old DS!).
