Nom loves rubber cheese. What does Nom love? Rubber cheese.

See what I did there?

ZoneArmatrading · 14/04/2010 14:40

SusoupTM was majestic with the cauli, a clove of garlic, herbes de provence (nonce)' carrots, onion, leeks, potato (just one, not 4 stone of them), lots of celery that could bend over and touch its toes... Plus the magic ingredient: 2 knorr chicken stock pot thingies.

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 14:41

I am ashamed.

I only like it hot on burgers.

ZoneArmatrading · 14/04/2010 14:45

Pointydog, but then you get crap cat names like Cornflake. Far Too Important a decision to leave to littlies.

Have had (plus sister and mum's cats) David, Ben, Albert, Fillis (she looked dyslexic), Audrey, Patsy, Sean and Caitlin.

I like Fabio. I hadn't thought of going foreign.

Dinky yes, Splat v self fulfilling. I knew a Lucky that went that way.

Eyes back down to work now. Good luck all with powering through till dinner avoiding any biffage.

ZoneArmatrading · 14/04/2010 14:46

Mmm... anything hot on burgers Zone.

pointydog · 14/04/2010 14:58

ah, but were you thinking of brucie as you said it, zoneA?

pointydog · 14/04/2010 15:00

yes, you will prob end up with crap name but I cannot forget watching a friend lose all reasonableness as she let her dh name the kitten rather than her son

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 14/04/2010 15:23

Colin for the kitten. Or Slinky Malinky Don't let kids name him. They pick shite names and when you go to the vet you'll be known as "Snuffles Brown" or whatever. DS1 named one of our chickens "Scabby".

Love plastic cheese on burgers.

MrsShu · 14/04/2010 15:24

ds3 and i have made pink meringues

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 14/04/2010 15:26

V impressive - why do pink meringues taste better than white? They shouldn't but they do.

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 15:29

Don't eat them Su!

I have to go to Tesco in a min. Thrilling.

Still, am off work tmrw taking DD to Warwick Castle, so not sure how zoney that one will turn out. I'll try

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 14/04/2010 15:36

Porridge - always wanted a cat called Colin but fil is called that!!

MrsShu · 14/04/2010 15:36

ds3 ratehr pleased.
then he drank teh food colouring

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 15:43

let us know if he does pink wee

NomDePlume · 14/04/2010 15:44

i don't know why I posted that

thinking out loud

ZoneArmatrading · 14/04/2010 15:45

He drank the food colouring. Of course he did.

And he and his kind are allowed to name animals??? IRMC.

Porridge Colin or Simon I like.

Pointy, the kitten has a name and not the son? That's terrible.

Thanks for pointying out the Brucie. It was good even when I hadn't realised.

I should go to Tesco in a minute really but still haven't delivered work. Am deffo having small glass vino tonight. As su likes it, on emtpy tum, even though it makes me feel a bit sea sick.

MrsShu · 14/04/2010 15:46

lol
i will ask him to report in himself

AitchTwoZone · 14/04/2010 15:56

at 'Aitch don't take on so'. i was talking to dinky, not zonearmadtrading (who i preferred when she was a lurker. )

ZoneArmatrading · 14/04/2010 16:12

I meant 'dont...so' in a kindly tone not an irritable one. Can I carry on?

AitchTwoZone · 14/04/2010 16:22

but i wasn't talking to you...

wore the purple birkies today, wee trip to loch lomond, just half an hour away. the beach is only an hour as well... might go tomoz. sometimes i feel sorry for you englishers with your fat, flat country.

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/04/2010 16:41

Are your Birkies shiny Aitch? Mine shimmer.

Have you stolen my kitten? Sounds just like him. He belongs to ds1 so has a very dull name. What about Basil? Then you can shout out the back door 'Baaaaaasssiiiil'

In fact I'm having a dull day. Foodwise same as yesterday, ryvitas for lunch (I am so not going to mention the slice of pizza and tiny slice of birthday cake forced upon me by birthday boy's mother at party) and pork casserole again for supper.

Dull, dull, dull. 16k run tomorrow.

at biafran burgers.

geordieminx · 14/04/2010 16:46

I'm with you Aitch

We had a fab time on Sat at Botanical gardens/Kelvingrove.

QueenCoco · 14/04/2010 16:47

Call your kitten Biffer in honour of us all.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 14/04/2010 16:47

Su, warn DH about DS3's pink pee, or he'll go in after him and freak out!

Might make banana bread with DS and leave it for my parents to nom - guilt-induced as I'm going to Granada for weekend tomorrow. Without DS.

Themasterandmargaritas · 14/04/2010 16:51

Ahhh I used to LOVE going to the botanical gardens. And the transport museum, that was so cool.
