Prayers for the wee girl Cyb.

Well, I have lost 4lb since Tuesday.... unfortunately its the 4lb that I had put on since the previous Friday.

There is no chance of me getting a stone off before hols now. 3 weeks left. Maybe 1/2 stone? Suppose anything is better than nothing.

Problem is the ds has dropped his afternoon nap, which is when I used to do exercise vid/wii. So not only do I not get the opportunity, by 4pm I am that harrassed, having not had any peace and quiet, that I end up in the biscuits.

Am off to see Chris and Pui in Show me Show me this afternoon.... wish me luck.

cyb · 09/04/2010 11:42

You are all lovely ladies

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 11:44

Geordie - you can do half a stone in 3 weeks if you put your mind to it (says she who has been trying to lose half a stone for ooh 3 months now). I mean, you've just lost 4lbs in a week! You need to go hardcore zone to do it though - follow the su way - no treats, baked/grilled meats and veg/salad at dinner, boring branflakes at breakfast and soup or salad for lunch - and only fruit or corn thins (whatever the hell they are for snacks). How old is your DS? Could you get him to play by himself while you exercise? Failing that, does he get up at a sane hour - if he does, get up an hour earlier and do your vid then.

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 11:45

Yay on the MamaG taking you back to last weeks weight Coco. Hope your DD gets better soon - all that scrubbing is good work for the arms. Try and think of it that way...

cocolepew · 09/04/2010 11:47

at poos now being called MamaGs. She'll be so proud.

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 12:03

Its her contribution to the thread while she's away

geordieminx · 09/04/2010 12:11

dinky you are right.

I need to focus. I'm fine during the week, loose 4-5lb, then eat too much of a weekend, put on a lb or 2, then spend the majority of the next week trying to loose it, before I am back to square 1.

Good idea about getting up early. Ds is nearly 3, but isnt a great one for playing himself

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 12:34

Geordie - DS1 (nearly 4) is like that too but likes to watch me exercising when I'm with my PT for the odd early morning work out in the garden. Hope early morning exercise works out for you - I love it (as then can feel like have got work out out the way for the day) but only get to do it twice a week on way in to work - for me to exercise before the DSs get up I'd have to be up at 4.30 though to get an hour in before the little one is up which just aint going to happen in the Dinky household... sleep is few and far between as it is.

HI all, have been away for a week and have no chance of catching up so just a quick weigh in just in case undertone is still doing pie charts...

am now either 9st 7 or 9st6 depending on whether I choose to believe the pre breakfast clothed weigh in or the post breakfast naked weigh in.

Think I will take the 9st 7 for now to make me feel better next week (hopefully).

Very zoney today -

yoghurt and branflakes for breakfast
chicken salad and pita for lunch
jacket potato, small portion of chili and salad for dinner.

Will try to keep up from now on.

BudaisintheZONE · 09/04/2010 14:50

Am back in the Zone mentally at least.

Rye bread with some peanut butter and an apple for breakfast,
homemade veg and lentil soup for lunch
Just had a few grapes as wanted something sweet

On 3rd glass of water. Need to improve on that.

Still planning bbq chicken and salad for dinner.

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 14:57

Ladies - I went out to grab lunch today and followed a rather overweight young lady out of the building. She was wearing a neon yellow body con dress, light blue tights and white shoes with gold studs all over them. Now, is this really what is in fashion right now?

SuSylvester · 09/04/2010 14:58

this warm weather makes me MORE want to be thinger

cyb · 09/04/2010 15:12

Oh gawd I've just been to see my new (NHS) dentist.

he said 'how did your teeth get into this state? You are young (bless him) but you have the teeth of......AN OLD PERSON'

I am devastated! Too much sugar over the years, too hasty with the brushing

Are they still taking applicants for 10 years younger, do you think? I'll get the whole lot pliered out and start afresh.

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 15:12

The good thing about warm weather is that it makes living on salads much more bearable - so the weight loss will be quicker (in theory)

Ugh, there are topless cabbies lurking in the road below my office. Now that's enough to put anyone off their food...

HumphreyCobbler · 09/04/2010 15:29

Oh cyb just caught up - sorry to hear about your friend's dd.
