hmm think they might find that irksome.

am going to go by gym scales - finnysays are right. they are about 10 5

bobbiewickham · 09/04/2010 10:00

Morning ladies!

Start weight - 11st 12

Weight today (pre-poo) 11st 9 1/2

So, I've stayed the same this week - but I'm ok with it, because I strayed spectacularly out of the zone over Easter.

Buda, your holiday sounds fab.

Sorry to hear about the little girl being ill.

HumphreyCobbler · 09/04/2010 10:01

Morning

Today I weigh 9.3. Can't quite remember but I think that is what I weighed LAST friday. Might have been 9.4, in which case I have lost a whole pound.

Still, am due any minuete so am bloated. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it.

Total weight loss 10lb. I am desperate to get under nine stone, that will be great. Perhaps I will take up exercise.

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:01

Today's weigh in

9st 13lb

That's +1lb from last week.

Not too bad given the Easter factor

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:05

humph, please tell me you are 2ft tall.

bobbiewickham · 09/04/2010 10:06

I'm all bloaty as well, Humph, which is weird as I don't have periods. Feel all PMTish.

Even fingers look a bit sausagey.

Ho hum.

Ooh - got a lovely dress delivered today from Brora. Saw it in the Sunday Times last week and had to have. Anyhow, it's lovely or will be when I've got rid of the wine gut and muffin tops.

Themasterandmargaritas · 09/04/2010 10:10

Oh Cyb, how sad, poor wee girl and dd. Fingers crossed for positive ending.

Are you blonde then? I think I really want that dress now. Can you do a pic of yours?

Su I'd say 10 5 is good middle ground, gotta go with the average.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 09/04/2010 10:15

Morning all. I went on the scales after a mini-MamaG and before my shower (wet hair=heavier, yes?).

Still says 10 stone 6. My scales weigh 1 lb lighter than the WW scales (which I couldn't get to yesterday) so that's 10.7. Again.

I've not been as good as last week, but still...

And while obviously Buda is Very Very BAD, I'm going on a 3 night break to Granada next week and I know damn well I'll misbehave.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 09/04/2010 10:16

Oh and Cyb, that's terrible. I really hope for a good outcome.

I love the dress, btw. I bet you'll be stunning in it.

SuSylvester · 09/04/2010 10:20

me and you BOTh reshape

BudaisintheZONE · 09/04/2010 10:20

Ouch Su! Is just what I need though. Did it make me happy? Well I have to say some of it did. Esp one of the choc souffles. Totally amazing. Actually I shared that one with DS so it wasn't TOO bad.

Cyb - sorry to hear about your DD's friend. Very scary. But leukemia is VERY curable these days. Fingers crossed she is one of the lucky ones.

Haven't had breakfast yet today so am off to have that. Then will do menu plan and shopping list and head to supermarket.

I am off to Dublin on Sunday too. Won't be as bad temptation wise though. Especially if I tell my Dad what i am doing. He will watch every mouthful I eat. He is diabetic and has high cholesterol and won't take the statins as they give him muscle pain so he is really careful about what he eats now. Has lost loads of weight. I will just eat what he eats.

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:21

just read the thread, what rotten news cyb. I hope the outcome for the girl is a good one.

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:25

My scales are good, I trust them. I hopped on and off 4 times this morning and they gave me exactly the same reading (sadly it was still 1lb more than last week but that serves me right for biffing out on green and blacks and easter egg and cake). Mine are Salter digital ones.

SuSylvester · 09/04/2010 10:32

link to them

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:34

don;t know if they are still avail, i've had them about 4/5years but will have agoogle

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:39

looks mine are discontinued but they are just normal ones, not body fat thingummy or anything, just electronic scales. But I would deffo recommend Salter ones. I think I paid about £40 for mine but looking online they've come down a lot in price and you get body fat analysers and all sorts for that sort of budget

SuSylvester · 09/04/2010 10:40

did you read abotu cyb trying all of them instore?

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:42

I did. 'tis scary.

Mine weigh me the same as the ones at work (proper hospital ones where you have to move the gauge) so I'm assuming that they are pretty accurate.

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 10:43

When I was at university and in halls all the girls on our floor had their periods at the same time - twas hell - never realised period synchronising occured over the net too!

Have period, feel bloaty and bleurgh - weighed self this morning and 3/4lb heavier than last weight in (just touching 10st 7).

Cyb - congrats on finding THE DRESS. Sorry to hear about your DD's mate - if gives you any comfort one of DH's best mates had leukemia in his teenage years, he's now fine fit and the sportiest man I know! Hope she responds well to treatment now they've caught it.

Buda - sounds like a great holiday but time to get back on the straight and narrow. Or Su will put you on extra time on the treadmill for your sins...

Coco - hasnt your DD just got over a tummy bug? Hope its a one off chunder (always makes me feel ill having to clean up kiddie vom) and you're ok too.

BO - have fun camping. Got good weather for it. My one and only camping experience was in a tipi in Herefordshire that summer when it rained incessantly and was bloody freezing - unsurprisingly DH is finding it hard to tempt me back under canvas again in this country...

SuSylvester · 09/04/2010 10:44

dinkystinky · 09/04/2010 10:46

Bollocks - extra t got on the end of my weigh in in last post...

Su - definitely go with the gym scales - they seem abit more consistent than your home ones...

NomDePlume · 09/04/2010 10:54

I need to row, then put some washing out, then take DD and her mate to the park, so am signing off the zone.

Well done losers.

Us greedy gainers must try harder next week. I am going to report a loss next Fri even if I have to cut off a limb to do it.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 09/04/2010 11:06

Hello all

Lovely dress Cyb and very sorry to hear about your DD's friend. Coco hopefully it was just one vom.

BO have fun camping - weather should be OK - no?

It's gorgeous weather here today and am just recovering from a 5 yr old DS sleepover. Fraid I departed the zone last night in Maccy D's but to be fair; 1. was within calorie limit for day and 2. was boy wrangling so didn't have time to cook anything delicious and nutritious. NO IT WASN'T WORTH IT.

Exercised and will go out to do digging today as well. Have weighed (not at optimum conditions - no Mama G) but still the same at 9st. Ho hum

Well done to everyone - I suppose the good thing here is that the zone can be departed for shourt periods - you just have to get back in it quickly so not to be a fat biffer.
