Aitch sounds grim

hope you feel better soon

did you not think you had candida before? DH did the candida diet for a year, it was hardcore dieting

dinkystinky · 06/04/2010 09:56

Oh no Aitch - that sounds rubbish. Hope you get some rest in today and feel better soon.

cyb · 06/04/2010 09:57

blimey this lot sound more motivated than us now

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 06/04/2010 10:34

Ooh, sorry you feel ill Aitch. Hope you feel brighter quickly. And coco - don't go...
I've got all competitive now - no way is there going to be a more keen thread than this one! Did we make Fat Slag this week? Did we??

I really want to shift another 2lbs by friday (unlikely , I know) - goin on a spa day with my 2 skinny sisters. Swimming cossies a great motivator I find!

BariatricObama · 06/04/2010 12:25

nonsense cyb, do they have the zone?

BariatricObama · 06/04/2010 12:26

poor you aitch - dh always looks at me like i am mad when i say i have sore skin.

OP posts:
AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 13:32

yyy so does mine! so do most people, in fact, but i suffer terribly from it. i had glandular fever/ME when younger and i had to sleep sitting up for a year because it meant less sore skin in contact with bed etc.

CheeeseOnToast · 06/04/2010 13:50

My DP (and also, peculiarly, my GP) don't understand this sore skin thing. I call it tingling/cold skin, it's all sensitive and horrible. Usually when I get it I feel like I'm coming down with something, then a cold materialises a few days later.

Had a day in Brighton yesterday - all a bit last minute and disorganised - which was great. Ate loads of seafood, which I assume isn't that high in cals? I ate s large punnet of cockles, then some crayfish tails, some prawns and also six oysters

didn't eat too much else though, beans on toast (w/m) for breakfast, and some pear cider, and that's all I had. And a teeny bit of easter egg when I got home. Lovely day

Scales should arrive today or tomorrow, yeeeehah!

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 14:02

i have in the past described it as like having a force field of pain all around you, and if anyone so much as brushes the air around it, it's misery. i have described it thusly and garnered Completely Blank Looks in response.

BariatricObama · 06/04/2010 14:04

aitch we understand! and so does my sister.

AitchTwoZone · 06/04/2010 14:06

four of us!

ToastieLover · 06/04/2010 14:20

Am finding that completely blocked sinuses and loss of all sense of taste is having a marvellous effect on weight loss. As I can't taste a fecking thing, it seems a little pointless shovelling anything contraband down my gullet. I actually forgot to eat until 2pm .

considers marketing the Nose Peg Diet

HumphreyCobbler · 06/04/2010 14:22

I get sore skin

dh thinks am insane

not as badly as you do by the sound of it though

AnzoneioBanderas · 06/04/2010 14:40

aitch youa re ill again?
that is not on
i biffed last night and now am zone ified
had a dull count on us salad when out today as the boys and i discusssed the causes of WW1
was most odd

NomDePlume · 06/04/2010 14:47

hola girlies

Am on reduced hours for easter half term so I can spend more time here [loser]

I have been uber shite today, again. Today I have eaten too much bread. Food as follows...

1.5 slices of w/m toast for breakfast
4 slices (made into sandwiches) with ham and a tesco light choices chinese chicken noodle cup a soup (0.5 ww pt)
3 titchy squares of green & blacks Maya Gold
2 medium slices of coconut cake

Dinner tonight will be DH's healthy biryani

24.5 points . Even with exercise allowance that's 3.5 more than I should. Grrr. Should have avoided those bloody cakes and all that pigging bread. Greedy farking FATSO.

Really pissed off with myself. Greedy pig.

YoginiBikini · 06/04/2010 14:49

Sore skin sounds rotten. I've had a sore scalp before. similar. It feels like my hair is being pulled forcefully.

Seafood sounds good. I love it and could easily survive on shellfish and natural yogurt - not together - and probably not easily either.

Scales are rubbish this morning. How big was our fat bird on Friday? Anyone tally her up?

Cyb come back but no wotsits

Toastielover, I like the sound of it

SuSylvester · 06/04/2010 14:50

ok we need to look at when we are faced wiht temptaion what we are doing.

my tips are

walk away

go and brush teeth

make a drink instead

remember how UN gratified you are by most of these lapses( rare ones that are worht it exlucded)

NomDePlume · 06/04/2010 14:50

might rethink the biryani, that's 6pts. If I can have a fewer points dinner, then I might be able to save myself a point or 2.

NomDePlume · 06/04/2010 14:52

teeth brushing v good tip but I scoffed the cake at work so not within toothbrush distance.

YoginiBikini · 06/04/2010 14:52

Greedypig today Nom but elegantly refined lady tomorrow? Go with it, no guilt trip. Too late now

SuSylvester · 06/04/2010 14:53

YoginiBikini · 06/04/2010 14:54

HumphreyCobbler · 06/04/2010 14:54

when tempted I think about what clothes I am going to buy for the thinner me

SuSylvester · 06/04/2010 14:55

out of a Panetone mug

NomDePlume · 06/04/2010 14:55

I need to keep a copy of the fat photo (the science museum big engine one that spurred me on to lose the chub) so that I can remind myself why I'm doing it.
