NomDePlume · 08/04/2010 18:33

LadyBlaBlah · 08/04/2010 18:40

Going away with friend who is not in the zone, kids who eat shite and pre men symptoms is not a good combo

Spectacularly out of the zone since Monday

Well done to Aitch. That is bloody quick to lose a stone

I am back on zone from 5pm today. Have muffin top motivation

largeginandtonic · 08/04/2010 18:43

Your coil has failed. All the weight loss has shifted it.

Panic i say.

Losing weight fast here. Afraid to eat. The children are falling down left right and centre with d&v.

SuSylvester · 08/04/2010 18:44

you came on and siad oyu had biffed!

NomDePlume · 08/04/2010 18:46

8.5/10

largeginandtonic · 08/04/2010 19:07

I have biffed.

The d&v will wipe it all out though right? < hopeful >

AitchTwoZone · 08/04/2010 19:07

re the smoked haddy, if you're ill, i'd poach it with milk in a bain-marie and team with buttered spinach or some broc or peas.

SuSylvester · 08/04/2010 19:14

hey that chocken was DIVINE
did it slowly on about 180

omg so tender

AitchTwoZone · 08/04/2010 19:15

which chicken, mine or nom's?

SuSylvester · 08/04/2010 19:15

nom?
your lemon one

AitchTwoZone · 08/04/2010 19:17

oh yes, it's really good, isn't it? although not so much a recipe as a 'paste i stick on most white things'. it's terrific on chicken wings on the barbeque.

NomDePlume · 08/04/2010 19:27

my chicken isn't a recipe really or wasn't posted on here as such but i think gherkin is eating it tonight.

will have to try aitch's chicken.

think i have to sign off zone now. dh gorn out and dd just got out of bath and demanding a chapter of harry potter. plus laptop is giving me headache.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 08/04/2010 19:31

Aitch, I had a go at bashing lemon peel, etc last night for my own chicken - nice. Although I went ahead and put the white wine, honey and lemon mixture on too. It's a bit like eating chicken with cough medicine, but pleasant enough.

Feeling really bloated this week. I'm FULL of wind (more than my usual, even) and wonder if it's because of so many more veggies than normal, or what? Is anyone else on this thread farting for Britian?

SuSylvester · 08/04/2010 19:45

yes its me soups i think

NomDePlume · 08/04/2010 19:46

HumphreyCobbler · 08/04/2010 20:16

Hello

Have had shit day due to mad dash to A&E this morning as DS cut his head open. It was fine in the end but grim.

So I had to drink wine and eat chocolate.

Poor Humph and DS I still picture DD hitting her head and it was years ago. Hope he's ok

[ignores Dandy and her travels ]

geordieminx · 08/04/2010 20:19

Hope ds is ok Humphrey!

2 bowls of Su Soup today, an activa yoghurt (which really do help bloating) and some fruit. Havent been to the toilet in about 3 weeks so hoping this might help.

Feeling a bit meh today, having been looking at kittens online that need rehoming... dh decidedly "not keen" miserable bastard

HumphreyCobbler · 08/04/2010 20:22

He will be fine thanks though he will probably have a scar . I had to hold him down at home while DH stuck it together as they couldn't get near him at the hospital.

It is my first time at A and E with a child, a rite of passage I could have done without.

HumphreyCobbler · 08/04/2010 20:23

geordiemix you need psyllium husks, that'll sort you

dinkystinky · 08/04/2010 20:30

Oh Humph you definitely deserve that wine and chocolate! Poor DS - and poor you - and poor DH. Though as you said, tis a rite of passage, especially with DSes.

Geordie - 3 weeks and no MamaGtype action If you're having fruit and veg you should be more regular than that mrs. Definitely try psyllium husks or linseed or dried apricots (I can vouch from DS2's bum the other day that they get things moving - he filched a couple of handfuls from the cupboard and did 6 enormous poos the following day - and he's a poo a day boy anyway) or prunes to get it going.
