ducky, thats pretty much what it was like. I felt pure and virginal and superior to all the gorging heffas left in my wake.....

cyb · 09/03/2010 19:43

Hey notice how I'm referring to OTHEr people as gorging heffas now, not myself. that means I'm mentally IN THE ZONE

HumphreyCobbler · 09/03/2010 19:43

I have had another restrained day, hooray. Still no exercise except for a painful shuffle around the park.

I am now going to eat frozen grapes, the best diet food in the world.

SuSylvester · 09/03/2010 19:46

yes ime it takes a week to kind of enjoy abstaining
hey cyb you will become a feeder soon

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 09/03/2010 19:50

Ooh Cod - you've gone all hardcore . Can I join for a bit of self flagellation when I have impure thoughts about strawberry cables ? Might need a bit of discipline on the exercise - not doing enough - need to do at least an hour a day rather than half an hour.

Have been good today; fruit yoghurt/poached egg and granary toast/veg and polenta and 2 slices malt loaf. Did lick finger from cake bowl though... probably contained about 4 zillion calories, but on the up side, might get a stomach bug.

Did an hour of Davina today - half using 6 month old DS2 as a weight on my abs >

Well done Cyb on the choc roulade - just think of the gap trousers.

Ooh yes - and Cod have you "been" yet?

SuSylvester · 09/03/2010 19:52

im sure i am ahem not a frequent flyer so to speak.

moodlum · 09/03/2010 19:53

Bariatric - that's just like my dh - he looses weight by cutting sugar in his tea, not eating tortilla chips and having black coffee not lattes. And lo and behold immediately shifts pounds and everyone comments. He's the only man who could lose a stone by cutting out sugary tea.

cyb · 09/03/2010 19:56

my dh finds giving up stuff infuraitingly easy too.

We are like jack Spratt and his wife.

If i had married his pudding loving brother (as my Mum DREAMT of) I would weigh about 16 stone

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:03

BUT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS WHEN DH BRINGS HOME FOOKIN' THORNTONS CONTINENTAL CHOCOLATES 'JUST COS HE FANCIED SOME' AND THEN GOES OUT TO THE FOOTBALL LEAVING ME IN THE SAME HOUSE AS THEM BUT IN CHARGE OF TWO SMALL KIDS?

eh?

and how am i supposed to eat different things from the rest of the family? that's just more cooking.

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:04

oh yes, and dh loses weight by cutting out a meal and eating extra strong mints. that is Just How Annoying he is.

cyb · 09/03/2010 20:05

aitch i'm going to eat virtually the same just a kittens portion

put the chocs somewhere you won;t go, like down the side of the house

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:06

what's that you say?

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:07

(and no, i don't even like them. i am doing it to Punish Him).

cyb · 09/03/2010 20:09

step away from the chocs

quick, someone pass her one of their years supply of fairy liquid bottles

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:13

oh god that is the only thing i know about rosemary conley, i mean ffs she's sick in the head if she thinks that fairy liquid will deter me. it WASHES OFF.

thing about a 'diet' is that we eat out a fair bit. if i put a stop to that it's just more cooking again for me.

moodlum · 09/03/2010 20:14

Would it help if I looked up the alpine truffle points value on WW for you?

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:15

lol, no. i fully don't care for i am Not On A Diet yet. these calories don't count. ( do these people know nothing?)

moodlum · 09/03/2010 20:18

It depends. If you are standing, or in a social situation, indeed the calories do not count, but I as I recall, sitting on the sofa eating does indeed count. 'Fraid so.

SuSylvester · 09/03/2010 20:19

that reminds me
where IS my fairy liq

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 20:23

oh god not you too. weirdo.

SuSylvester · 09/03/2010 21:01

no i mean my years supplycomp winnings

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 21:05

haHA, did you win that? good for you. i never win anything.

anyway my top potential dieting tip (for when i actually go on a diet) is miso soup with mangetout. chop some mangetout finely, pout on boiling water, add a blob of miso, shake of soy sauce and if i'm feeling racy, some tabasco. haven't checked the cals, obv, although i know that miso is vg for omega threes, but i kid you not it's delish with the al dente mangetout. and it's bovril, let's be honest.

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 21:22

how have i killed this thread, fatties? just by talking about chocolate? your willpower is non-existent, you're all troughing away now when you should be amusing me on MN.

moodlum · 09/03/2010 21:26

Oi - who you calling fattie?

Miso soup you say? I bought some of that for that very purpose, and if I'd remembered I'd had it, I would have had some for supper.

Its only .5 ww point, which is nothing so be prepared to start loving it.

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/03/2010 21:28

even the jar stuff? because im telling you it's yum with the mangetout, and quick. (and doesn't make you feel quite so bad about drinking just hot water and SALT).
