COT could you freeze the sausages so you could just have some more veg for dinner? Sausages are baaaaad.

Lost 3lbs since joining thread.

Hopefully won't be stuck at work late tonight, which means I should be able to get on the cross trainer when I get home. Tried to get up earlier to do some exercise before leaving for work, but it was just too awful to contemplate at that time of the morning.

CheeeseOnToast · 17/03/2010 17:22

Hmm ok I will give DP some sausages tonight, then freeze the rest for his return. I have been avoiding bread (like toast for breaskfast etc) but I didn't think wholemeal pittas were that bad? Will cut out from tomorrow. So, might have myself some soup and a big salad tonight, with some tinned mackerel fillets in brine (i LOVE these). DP can have jacket potato with sausages and tomato-y sauce.

Will go for a run tomorrow. I am meant to be running the Bristol 10k in a matter of weeks... aaghhhh.

I dont have any scales at the moment which is annoying

CoupleofKooks · 17/03/2010 17:52

i am worried about people telling you to stop eating bread and cheese and sausages
if you don't have bread or cheese or sausages, then basically you would have had ham and vegetables for lunch, and vegetables for dinner
this is a really crap dysfunctional way to eat and you should definitely eat bread and cheese and sausages as well IMO

CheeeseOnToast · 17/03/2010 17:57
Grin
cyb · 17/03/2010 18:59

this thread is too big and takes too long to load. it needs to go on a diet

largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 19:28

It does Cyb, tis most annoying. New thread needed.

COT eat just 2 sausages and veg, no other carbs. It will be fine. You could cook them up and toss them in a salad. Nice wholegrain mustard dressing made with creme fraiche or natural yog, mmmmmmm.

Am STARVING.

duckyfuzz · 17/03/2010 19:29

you shoudl def eat cheese COT its your name also sausages if they are 'good' ones

museli, apple, seeds, chicken salad with a bit of couscous followed by a flapjack (school lunch, their flapjacks are irresistible)

DH home late so jsut soup tonight I think

weighed this mornign, the lightest I can ever remember being but will wait til fri to do official loss

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 19:36

hmm
you see i know i have no issue wiht food
dont over eat/binge/gorge starve normally so i can impose these rules on self

i am a pig enough to want pretty quick results so i ban stuff that i know will put on weight.

today am uber virtuous.

YoginiBikini · 17/03/2010 19:37

Agree with you Cyb about the weighty thread

Duckyfuzz should be held up as an inspiration to us all

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 19:38

sausages are just SO high in fat, no way would i bother on a diet.

Themasterandmargaritas · 17/03/2010 19:38

I can't believe I'm really on a diet thread. I seem to be eating the same as you all anyway, perhaps I'm just in diet denial.

Today I have had muesli and a slice of toast, cheese and cucumber sarnie with a couple of pringles to up my sodium intake, a miniscule yeuky Hershe bar but that's not proper chocolate so doesn't count and two glasses of wine with pizza because I had no choice it was a residents association meeting and they forced me.

10k run for me tomorrow.

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 19:40

but grr this is MY htread to be bossy on

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 19:42

Have been to meeting at school
were refreshemtns
DID I FALTER?
no i refused crisps, chocolate, sarnies , cake
eveything

duckyfuzz · 17/03/2010 19:43

that's really scraping the barrel for inspiration yogini

some sausages are ok on atkins type diets, so long as meat not breadcrumbs or nasty crap

duckyfuzz · 17/03/2010 19:44

see now su really is inspiring, I couldn't do that

cyb · 17/03/2010 19:47

I am conference tomoorrow with conference food.

I had 2 slices of pizza for lunch today (on school trip ) guts making ALL SORTS of noises tonight

largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 19:52

So i have in front of me ww canneloni and a bowl of salad, dressed with tatziki. Carefully weighed out too.

I always struggle in the first few days. I thinkit is mostly getting used to portion sizes.

Easy when dh is away, impossible when he is home. He is the chef.

Duckfuzz huzzah! Keep it up.

Su you did v well to refuse all the goodies. I think once you are in the 'zone' it is easy to stay on track. I am not in the zone yet.

I am weighing on Friday. To either reign me in for the weekend or spur me on.

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 19:54

me too friday
although am hopeful asfter sneaky weigh today!

the first week is breaking bad habits and taking up new better ones.

duckyfuzz · 17/03/2010 20:21

LG&T I was an elephant

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 20:26

it cannot get worse now you are rtaking action

that is your trough - get ready for your peak when you bin all the crap eating habits you get into and UP fruit and vveg and reduce added fat

largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 20:37

Argh i hate all this weight watching.

I like to eat and go.

largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 20:39
