largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 08:16

Kooks your house sounds ace

Humphrey fab news on the weight loss!! I am really hoping to have lost something.

A crown prince is squash variety. Absolutely HUGE and super hard to cut and peel. Will be a work out and a healthy meal all in one.

I didn't eat a WHOLE cheescake i hasten to add. Just one of those mini ones.

2 gone to school, 2 fighting/messing round in their bedroom, 1 baby on lap, 2 year old watching Mickey Mouse, dd practising for her dress rehearsal of big play today.

60 on a bus...oh my goodness. You need a nice long soak when you get home. Soak in wine that is.

Alouiseg · 17/03/2010 08:22

Another pound down Grand total of 4 +3/4 in 4 days.

Happy, and motivated.

Bfast protein shake

Lunch something with butternut squash probably

Dinner will be roast pork belly with creamed spinach. I think I'm going to start tracking on the Lance Armstrong website thingy if i can remember the name

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 08:24

i have lost 3 lbs since this thread started. slow and steady wins the race!

Alouiseg · 17/03/2010 09:16

Sorry BO I thought this was a supportive diet thread. Whatever floats your boat.

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 09:25

what did i say?

HumphreyCobbler · 17/03/2010 10:11

?

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 10:12

i need to name change the diminutive bo is not nice!

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 17/03/2010 10:49

Wow Alouiseg and Barrie (I think I prefer BO)
that's great. Likely to have lost a big fat 0 pounds on friday so am very of both of you!

Off to do some chicken related things...and to debate over a dress purchase.

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 11:06

thanks porridge - what dress? (nosy)

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 17/03/2010 12:15

Well - this one - I'm not big on prints but I thought that this might be quite nice to try. It's as cheap as chips so it's no biggy if it's crap. I have bought from here before and quality wise it's not too different from somewhere like Oasis. I do like this as well.

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 12:19

like the dress - for £10 you cna't go wrong, just stay away from naked flames!

not so sure about the mac. all v. chic and sexy on louise but might be more bingo hall chic in real life.

HumphreyCobbler · 17/03/2010 12:28

Have done an hours digging, having taken pills to deaden the pain.

Sure I must have burnt off many many calories.

nappyaddict · 17/03/2010 12:35

NumberOneEnemy

IF it's no carbs how can pasta and tomato sauce be allowed?

largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 12:44

The dress is nice.

I am eating a HUGE bowl of salad with pomegranate seeds, peppersand cucumber. Had 40g gravadlax with 2 ryvita on the side. Healthy, no?

YoginiBikini · 17/03/2010 13:23

Like the shape of the dress.

Thanks Humphrey, you've made me feel very guilty. Have been meaning to do digging all week. Many many calories I'm sure!

Going to wobble on my board in a minute.

porridge for breakfast,
pitta bread and hummus stuffed to the hilt with salad for lunch,
steak and salads for dinner

Sounds good LGandT

moodlum · 17/03/2010 13:39

LG&T sounds delish. much nicer than the horrid miso soup i had. I threw it away in the end, it was horrid. I had sainsbo bgty tomato and three bean soup with one slice of bread no wedges of butter. It was OK, actually, I even quite liked it. Then some low fat raspberry yogurt.

Am off to look at house now. so exciting.

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 13:44

i am making fish pie for tea. i am already fretting over my inability to no shove it all in my mouth at once!

BJBB · 17/03/2010 14:17

Has anyone heard of (or even downloaded) the Fat Burning Furnace stuff? Be good to hear about anyone's experience...

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 15:46

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 15:51

you love the branflakes! do you wake up all excited about them? sadly i do wake up excited by my porridge

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 15:52

i do
pshaw!

CheeeseOnToast · 17/03/2010 16:25

Can I join in?

I want to lose about half a stone. My DP is going away tomorrow for two whole weeks, which means I'll be able to cook all weird manner of diet food in the evening and he won't moan.

Thinking of doing a general low-ish carbs thing, combined with eating less and doing a bit more exercise. Was going to do a juicing thing but couldn't be arsed decided against it.

Today I had:

Cheerios for breakfast (but usually have porridge made with water) with a cup of tea

Lunch was salado (leaves, cucumber, cherry toms) in a wholemeal pitta with some wafer ham and a skim of mayo in place of butter, and a few nibbles of some Austrian smoked cheeeeese.

Since then I've eaten a few spoon-fulls of strawberry jelly left over from last night and I'm trying to decide what to do for dinner. Need to use up some snosages

SuSylvester · 17/03/2010 16:49

bin the mayo cheese and bread imo.

moodlum · 17/03/2010 16:58

Wow - what are snosages - they sound yummy
