Alouiseg · 16/03/2010 20:06

Running is great for totally ruining ones knees and hamstrings and making calves look like a mans.

Tried it, didn't like it. Gave me sore uncomfortable man legs.

HumphreyCobbler · 16/03/2010 20:08

yes, I watched them all skipping around looking skinny while I skulked like a pudding at the edges. They all ate
cake too.

HumphreyCobbler · 16/03/2010 20:10

Psyllium Husks excellent, but make sure you drink enough water.

I once burped after taking some and was fascinated to see a stream of what looked like dust floating out of my mouth. It was like ectoplasm.

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 20:11

I am sharing her Su. They are coming on Thursday to sort out my machine.

Might be so efficient it can be used to suck the fat out of me?

I am eating ww sweet chilli chicken with a pile of veg. It is a bit grim tbh.

Cyb well done on the restraint. I did bake about 40 odd cookies today and didn't touch em!

I want applause to please.

BariatricObama · 16/03/2010 20:13

running is good for 'conditioning' beneath my fat suit lurks a veritable core of steel

did they really eat cake hump?

HumphreyCobbler · 16/03/2010 20:15

Yes they ALWAYS eat cake

have worked out why they are thin though, it is because they eat one slice and then stop whereas I might eat the whole thing.

duckyfuzz · 16/03/2010 20:15

so much restraint being shown here

I'm snacking on toasted seeds with a splash of soy sauce, I did enought to take to work tomorrow, but they are so yum I fear there will be none left

BariatricObama · 16/03/2010 20:16

i would probably eat them, if there were enough crumbs on their lap

BariatricObama · 16/03/2010 20:17

i made wheaten bread (my fav comfort food of all time) and merely sampled a crumb.

jenduff · 16/03/2010 20:30

isthatporridge - blubber to nork transplant

polished off mothers day chocs today so slinking off wiht tail between my legs and going to restart again tomorrow

moodlum · 16/03/2010 20:35

sooooooooo hungry

noddyholder · 16/03/2010 20:39

'an average ized acquaintance of mine' PMSL this thread would not get published in any swanky health and fitness mags

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 20:41

hahahahaha

moodlum · 16/03/2010 20:43
LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 21:38

okay so i have just eaten half a savoy cabbage stir fried with chili and soy, so am i still inducting? i really hope that book arrives soon.

it's not that i don't like music, so much as i don't like listening to it. i'd rather listen to the news or eddie mair or somesuch.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 21:39

oh and have become addicted to fennel and nettle tea.

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 21:44

i'd rather have complete silence most of the time but i know what you mean
i don't really like things in the background, i find them very distracting / stressful

i have run - i think i did 2 mins running, 1 min walking, 6 times, but i was guessing, so it could have been anything really
i was out for 25 mins though so i did do something

have eaten banana, bit of pizza, and some of ds1's left over chocolate money from his stocking

agree psyllium husk for pooing - you can just buy it in bulk from health food shop, very cheap
essential post birth kit IME

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 21:47

silence would mean i'd have to listen to my own lungs screaming in horror, so no.

and now am eating nuts.

SuSylvester · 16/03/2010 22:00

love stir fry savoy

tomorrow am thinking of roasted butternut squash and bacon

mmm
,homer>

Themasterandmargaritas · 17/03/2010 05:02

Kooks, I've eaten about 72 Euro's worth of chocolate stocking money during the last day week.

The thing is, if you are running a marathon you are an idiot just sort of plod along, not moving very much.

I can't run to those podcast techno trance things, they are too scary. I need cheesy pop and a bit of the Killers to keep me going.

largeginandtonic · 17/03/2010 07:25

I ate a chocolate cheescake. So weak.

MIL bought them with ther yesterday. There is still one left.

Butternut squash and bacon sounds good. I have a huge crown prince atm. The kids are not a fan though. Might make soup with it. No cream in it though, right?

cyb · 17/03/2010 07:29

feel rough this morning after 2 glasses wine and curry(but not big portion)

HumphreyCobbler · 17/03/2010 07:40
