CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 18:53

singe i want to do that podcast thing
i looked at the weekend and the site where you download them was down
i am meant to be running again tonight - i don't think i really like running
i do get the high afterwards though, well kind of a less low anyway

cyb · 16/03/2010 18:56

I listened to a couple of tracks on that running podcast and it was too trancey for me. I need a bit of Beyonce to get me running

Themasterandmargaritas · 16/03/2010 18:57

Honestly I'm telling you running is the answer. You burn zillions of calories and when you start to run a lot you can eat anything and lots of it.

Slim on top ggirl but heavy on the bottom and thunder thigh regions

Su, sounds like it's that time in your life where you move on to elasticated waistbands.

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 19:02

Master is a whippet i tell ya. She is barely there. AND she runs alot.

Bugger off skinny mini

I am no longer svelte Master. The 7th child did me in.That and i eat too much

I am not talking about poo. I deal with poobums all day long. I'm not brining it in to my 'fun' time.

Undertone · 16/03/2010 19:03

Right. Today eating exactly the same as yesterday.

YES, SU - EVEN THE SODDING SNAK A JACKS.

I NEED them!

I'm still at my desk at work. Bag of salad waiting for me when I get home.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 19:04

i need to run AND not let a carby morsel touch my lips. i have less than three weeks until the wedding of the Thinnest People on Earth. i am concerned that if we are not careful during the photos we could end off eclipsing them entirely.

i get a bit of a high when i finish, i admit. a 'thank fuck that's over' high.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 19:06

i don't much like music, though, i think this is the problem. you can't get a good pace up to the radio four comedy and FOOC podcasts.

cocolepew · 16/03/2010 19:08

I'll admit tomorrows sins today, I know what they are, shamrock shaped shortbread for st Patrick and chippy and cake for a birthday.

I'm on here under false pretences.

duckyfuzz · 16/03/2010 19:09

my 'running' music is stereophonic and johnny cash, johnny sets a particularly nice rhythm I find

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 19:12

Oooh hullo Duckyfuzz! Long time no see.

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 19:14

I have a cross trainer in the dinning room. It remains untouched. I must get on it.

Su guess who called me today?

duckyfuzz · 16/03/2010 19:15

hello LG&T get on the cross trainer NOW! who called you? was it gordon?

moodlum · 16/03/2010 19:20

cyb - i seriously could not turn down delivery pizza that had been left untouched. I bow to your better self restraint

I, on the other hand could not resist two small (i really mean that) glasses of wine. I have been soo good today, so I felt I could without being too naughty.

Anyway - must dash - the children are in the bath discussing whether jesus had friends, and if he did, if the donkey was one of them. They are 4 & 5 btw, and god knows what they teach them.

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 19:23

Oh yes Gordon and i are pals now

No a bit less exciting. Well quite exciting for me anyway.

The Dyson girl I met them at the party. Such a a good contact to make.

BariatricObama · 16/03/2010 19:27

i normally run but have had flu and still not right. running by itself is no good. i run 5 miles 3 times a week and still manage to be a lard arse.

i had forgotten how tedious the first week of trying to lose weight is. i want to be thin now ... or tomorrow at the latest

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 16/03/2010 19:40

Well done Cyb - that takes self restraint.. Totally with you on the slices of butter on bread thing - do the same with cream crackers.

Coco - blardy hell woman FRIED SPUDS! Are you here to torture me?

Su/Coco -Things aren't terribly regular here either. Smoked salmon is 2 points per 50g.

Master - I have been running - 3 miles a day but found it so boring(on the treadmill) that I resorted to Davina instead. Twas mightily depressing too, as I was drawn to watching Jeremy Kyle whilst running in the same way as you might watch a rat - with a kind of sickening revulsion. Sister is a major runner though and she says the same things as you.

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 19:41

nope the podcast site still not working for me
anyone know a different place to get it?

i am planning to go out pretty soon but dp is stalling
he's cooking himself a pizza (sod runs and cycles 100s of miles every week and can eat like a heifer)

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 19:45

the podcast music is awful, you're really better getting your own choons imo.
www.bupa.co.uk/running/training/training-programmes/beginner-5km/ this is a good way of getting started, gives you all the timings, just take a watch.

HumphreyCobbler · 16/03/2010 19:45

I met up with some very thin people today. It is a good incentive, felt terribly bulbous in comparison.

Today
cereal
baked egg and salad
pork chop and salad
fruit

Still getting bugger all exercise due to painful back.

Doesn't EVERYONE weigh themselves before and after a poo?

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 19:46

hahahahahaha i did that once. was rawther surprised at how much i was packin' there.

YoginiBikini · 16/03/2010 19:50

My day of eating less has been helped enormously by most of it being taken up with a loooooong dentist appointment and my mouth now feeling like it doesn't belong to me.

Yay for dentists!

Obviously, I do need some sustenance and calories. Am considering whether a glass of wine would help? Will probably have veg soup though.

I have a power plate. Will make concerted effort to wobble on it for a bit tomorrow.

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 19:51

god no i don't wear a watch and would find it annoying to have to keep looking at it
i want the music and someone telling me what to do
i will see if i can find a different one

aitch how can you not like music? do you mean of any kind?

Alouiseg · 16/03/2010 20:01

Talking about poo..................

If you are having trouble then try psyllium husk capsules before bed with a LARGE glass of water.

Sorry about that

BariatricObama · 16/03/2010 20:02

lol @ humphry and the thin people, were you granted a day pass into beautiful land?

SuSylvester · 16/03/2010 20:04
