porridge how long have you been going?

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 16/03/2010 17:22

It would have to be leopard print, slightly too small with a horrendous camel toe.

Feels like years!

Weighed myself on 19th Feb (9st 11) and almost fell over. Lost 3 pounds in about 4 days but since then it has seemed very slow. Am now at 9st3.75 and it's all on my tum and hips, like a great big blancmange. Need to be about 8st 11 for my clothes to fit well.

SuSylvester · 16/03/2010 17:28

i only ate HALF a fresh baked ginger snap today.

noddyholder · 16/03/2010 17:33

noddyholder · 16/03/2010 17:47

m and s sugar free sweets eat two and you will be running to the loo

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 18:02

i think yes to avocadoes, they are fab and the fat will satiate you and mean you feel full

thank you for the butter avoidance tips
spots hormonal?? well i have been hormonal for about 3 months then (i probably have been, am bfing ds2)
not sure about leaving butter off the carbs, seems slightly pointless
as for giving up carbs, i like carbs! and need them for energy! think low carbing is bonkers personally (this is point where annoying friend would say 'no offence' isn't it? so i won't pretend )

SuSylvester · 16/03/2010 18:13

i odnt mind carbs
its just i tend to add butter to them
or scofff them
i dont see them as bad at all
just it makes me eat a lot more veg
sent dh to market today - we are rammed with them

HOW MANY ww points in smoked salmon guys please

cocolepew · 16/03/2010 18:19

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 18:19

i don't know
what's the capital of mongolia

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 18:21

well how do i get unhormonal?

look away if you don't want details of spots:

you can't squeeze them, they are just like little red pimples but they have only got watery stuff inside and they bleed a lot if you pick them
so i don't even get any enjoyment from them

i am fed up of them

largeginandtonic · 16/03/2010 18:34

Coco your diet sounds fab. I love a gooey fried egg in white plastic bread. >

Have no idea about spots.

I have eaten museli (picked all the raisins out) Must start making my own again.

4 Ryvita seedy crackers with a WW mini tin of tuna in coronation dressing. Was bearable and quite filling.

An apple and a diet coke.

I almost licked one of the cookies i made. Peanut butter and dark chocolate. The house smelt divine. I sniffed very hard.

Themasterandmargaritas · 16/03/2010 18:37

FGS people. You need to EAT.

LG&T you don't belong here you gorgeous bundle of blonde svelteness, you just want to belong to a click don't you?

Is anyone exercising? I can recommend a good run

cyb · 16/03/2010 18:40

lol at enjoyment from spots

Hows this for self restaint

Pizza delivered for kids

loads left because I'm not eating with kids(funny that)

As I was packing it away I did not sneak one bite NOT ONE BITE I TELL YOU

i too have had to stop bread because I have to have butter, actual slices of it on top

But my guts have stopped making noises

cyb · 16/03/2010 18:41

master we ARE eating AND exercising. It is an exercise in not being a greedy pig for me

cocolepew · 16/03/2010 18:42

I haven't pooed for days.

I'm expected to lose a stone when I go.

TMI?

Themasterandmargaritas · 16/03/2010 18:43

I admire all your self restraint. I just couldn't do it I admit, I'm too weak.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 18:46

i think i should start running again. my third attempt at the couch potato to 5k... i get to about 3-4 k and think 'oh fgs what's the point?' i have never yet experienced a high while running.

LeSingeEstDansLarbre · 16/03/2010 18:46

i say running.

i mean jogging, barely faster than a walk.

SuSylvester · 16/03/2010 18:48

why do people alwyas try and stop people dieting to be able to do up wasitbands fgs!

cyb · 16/03/2010 18:49

one word- jealous

cocolepew · 16/03/2010 18:51

I'm doing the sports relief mile, dd expects me to run . That's plenty of exercise.

CoupleofKooks · 16/03/2010 18:51

i do like a thread where i can talk about poo
i nearly got chucked off my last clique thread for talking poo
i am easing my way in here, though so you're ok

breakfast: posh muesli, raisins, sunflower seeds, banana, apple, grapes, rice milk

snack: hot cross bun with butter

lunch: cheese and pickle sandwiches
apple
satsuma

dinner: stir fry thing bought in desperation from sainys when i realised it was past teatime and we were stil in town
there was a pouch of veg to fry and then some cooked noodles
i added some quorn from the freezer
it was surprisingly ok and cost £2.50 which could have been a worse rip off i thought
it did me and the boys anyway

then green and blacks creamy milk chocolate - i laugh in the face of spots

no exercise yet except a walk in the park feeding the ducks, and a tussle with a dress from H+M which refused to have its zip done up for some considerable time
finally i HEAVED it up to great effect (imagine corset round porky middle) then zip SPROINGED open revealing white flab
lovely
i do need a diet thread after all i guess

Themasterandmargaritas · 16/03/2010 18:51

In my head I'm a runner singe, my short stubby legs suggest otherwise. The first 5k are the worst, then it all becomes strangely knackering exhilarating.

brimfull · 16/03/2010 18:52

themaster- are you naturally slim then?
