SuSylvester · 15/03/2010 12:38

am I WINNING OYUOVERYET?

SuSylvester · 15/03/2010 12:39

I LOVE ALIUISEGES STRANGE SHELLFISH LUNCHES

OH SOrry caps lock

HumphreyCobbler · 15/03/2010 13:10

I went out for dinner and didn't eat bread, potatoes or pudding. I only drank water [smug]

Still weigh the same this morning though, despite weekend of very dull eating.

Today
Cereal
Ham salad

and will eat pork chop and veg for tea. Followed by the inevitable frozen grapes.

CoupleofKooks · 15/03/2010 13:13

i have had a bagel
with butter
am having pitta bread and cream cheese and chickpeas and salad for lunch

veg drawer soup for tea (lentil and swede mostly)

i have skipped, with ds1
i did about 10 skips then realised my pelvic floor wasn't going to make it
does doing things like that strengthen your pelvic floor or weaken it do you reckon? i mean if you persevered with skipping when it was a bit dicey, would it get better eventually or worse?

HumphreyCobbler · 15/03/2010 13:14

do your pelvic floor exercises as well as skipping

skipping is knackering though

CoupleofKooks · 15/03/2010 13:15

sorry if that lowers the tone btw

i have loads of trousers i want to fit into
i have dresses that i am about 2 stone to heavy for!
but basically if i lost half a stone i would have a nice summer wardrobe i could wear instead of about 3 tops and some jeans which are totally muffiny
it is all about clothes, really, isn't it?

CoupleofKooks · 15/03/2010 13:18

oh yeah, i do them too
but is it BAD to skip? will it make things fall out of me? i mean like my womb for instance?

HumphreyCobbler · 15/03/2010 13:21

I am sure it won't make things worse - surely the effort of hanging on will strengthen things? Don't really know though, am guessing.

I agree, it is all about the clothes. I am past caring what I look like naked. I've got loads of clothes that I bought only last year I can't wear now.

SuSylvester · 15/03/2010 13:22

i dont knww anything about pelvic flooors
come adn rant about joules

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 15/03/2010 14:17

Which heels with those shorts?

Have been doing lots of star jumps and nothing has fallen out yet - think pf might be improving with clenching. Mind you last baby was sunroof delivery so might not be totally reliable comparison.

BO - have target jeans;

  1. Size 12 French Connection (in with belt atm)
  1. Size 10 7forAM (can get in but not do up)
  1. Size 10 Joseph (can't get over my arse)

Refusing to buy any more jeans as it is (a) almost summer (b) having limited wardrobe is incentive to keep going.

SuSylvester · 15/03/2010 14:25

have these in blue and beige

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 15/03/2010 14:33

Ooh yes - not a huge Boden fan but their shoes are often good - those are a good height and nice heel shape. Will you be wearing a jacket with the shorts?

moodlum · 15/03/2010 14:35

skipping, pelvic floors, shorts and rollmops. All in one thread. wooo.

had half a ham and tomato sandwich for lunch. Bran flakes for breakfast. An apple. Might go and have a diet coke. I was thinking of going hardcore and just having sainsbos bgty moroccan chickpeak low cal soup for supper, and dh can just forage for his own. May yet weaken though.

I actually bought a great top from joules at the weekend and its too tight it can't come out of the bag until I lose some weight.

moodlum · 15/03/2010 14:36

I don't like boden shoes. I do on the catalogue pictures, but then i buy them and realise that they just show nasty toe cleavage on me. every time. I must have sent back about 10 pairs in my time.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 15/03/2010 14:42

The way my bust is diminishing I'd be grateful for ANY cleavage - even toe.

cyb · 15/03/2010 16:00

Humph.

No one noticed my omlette

But someone said I looked fresh faced.

So every cloud, and all that

Undertone · 15/03/2010 16:37

Special K and semi-skimmed milk
Diet coke
2 slices wholemeal bread and 80g lean ham to make sandwich (no butter, 2 tsps chutney)
S&V Snak-a-jacks
Apple
Bag of salad leaves
2 tomatoes
130g skinless boneless chicken
100g extra light cottage cheese
Red wine vinegar for dressing
Diet coke
Gallons of sparkling water

begs for approval

moodlum · 15/03/2010 16:37

cyb - better to be noticed for being fresh faced rather than exotic omelettes surely ?

cyb · 15/03/2010 16:42

yes mood you are probably right.

Had some potentially crap news (nothing major) this afternoon and it was all I could do not to reach for the white toast and butter.......
