A stone by Easter challenge!

Well half term is over, back to school tomorrow and Spring is in the air...time to get rid of the winter flab methinks!

I weigh 11 stone and want to be 10 by Easter (and ultimately around the 9 stone 7-10 mark) - six weeks to do 14lbs doable I think?

My reward will be lovely shopping for summer clothes.

My plan is to do HM smoothie or cereal breakfast, Soup or salad lunch and "normal" healthyish dinner (but watch the portion size on carbs. I will be trying to drink lots of water and less coffee/alcohol and exercising 3 x per week (prob be running but am considering joining a gym!!)

So anyone who fancies joining me feel free

Today: Strawb and yog smoothie/prawn salad/shepherds pie and brocolli. Might run later if it ever stops RAINING!!

I will weigh in tomorrow, as we have visitors this weekend so I may regret a Monday weigh in!

Good day so far, same food as other days really, muesli, lots of fruit, salads, with a packet of mini cheddars this afternoon just to liven things up!

Hi all,

I've been all over the place today as DH was off work but I had branflakes for breakfast, quorn fillets in gravy and mixed veg at lunch but then had a cheese sandwich and finished up DD's pizza this eve .

I'm going to weigh tomorrow although I only started Tuesday (and AF is due) so I'm not expecting much, I tend to need to weigh 3+ times a week to keep focused.

I'm jealous of your Davina stuff, I have back problems so I have to stick to walking and yoga/balance stuff on the wii fit.

Got home late and DH had ordered Chinese I had one plateful instead of the usual 3 but still not ideal!

At least I didn't eat any biscuits or cake today - apple and plum snacks so hopefully not scuppered for morning weigh in (crosses fingers, toes and legs!)

Well I had 3 slices of pizza and too much garlic bread, smoothie and then a few pieces of mint aero

I'm going to weigh tomorrow to be in sync with everyone too but am out with dd1 to hosp so won't be able to report until lunch time

Had an OK day today. Its been very hot so not felt like doing much excercise and eaten a bit too much popcorn as I read that it is fairly low in calories. But probably not low enough to make the amount I ate OK

1 bowl of fruity cereal
salad, 4 rice cakes and cheese.
chicken, a few chips and sweetcorn.

Popcorn

Not really a good day. Will wiegh in on Monday - but hope everyone elses weigh ins go well today!

Drumroll last friday 11st....this morning I weigh 10st 8.5!! That's 5.5lb off I think?!

(Some will be water retention as I had AF this week and now finished)

Still woohoo!

Today - banana smoothie/veg soup/not sure yet

Need to do a shop and meal plan for next week - am well chuffed! Happy friday everyone!

Congratultions redshoesnoknickers, that's great going - bet you'll be smiling all day.

I'm at 11st4lbs now so only 1lb off but that's since Tuesday (and AF arrived overnight) so not too bad.

Today I will have:

Protein shake
A pear
Prawn salad
Some grapes
A soup (not sure which yet)
Carrot sticks

Ok think my weigh ins are confused but if I sticj to Friday morning from now on and go by todays weight..............................................11st14

Going shopping today healthy treats & I'm going to get a fitness DVD too I think

Oh weighed again with clothes on 12.0 so I'm making that 2lbs

Going to use 11.14 and weigh in every Friday morn

I weighed in on Sunday at 9st 9 and and today I'm 9st6 1/2. Tum looks much better after all that Davina!

Congrats to redshoenoknickers, Muminbeds and isthatporridgeinyourhair Thats brill news... bet your all really chuffed!

Have continued not to have any caffeine and feeling lots better for not having it! Yesterday was brill and will weigh myself when I get to mums later but before I have a piece of my birthday cake...

So not sure today is going to be a particularly good day but will do my best but you do only have one birthday a year!!! I'll let you know the weigh in results later but will be doing a bit of Natalie Cassidy or Pilates I think!!!

PlumBumMum it might be me but I thought there were 14lbs in a stone so 11st14 would be 12st.

Congratulations to everyone whose lost. Particularly those who have lost significant amounts. Wow!

I was 11st 2 and this morning when I weighed I was........................ 10st 13.

As I seem to have been stuck at 11st 2 for weeks I was dreading weighing myself just to find I'd lost nothing so it was a great feeling to have lost 3lbs.

I'm sure this thread is helping to keep me focused. So thank you - all of you .

Not much chance for walking today so I think I'm going to try some pilates.

queen I'm holding you to that walk you mentioned yesterday. Don't forget!

Here's to another good week and more weight loss to come!

hello all and congratulations on all the weight losses, some HUGE amounts

I'm starving here and seems a long time til tea so going to have some fruit and try to avoid the biscuits which are my downfall (we are 3 hours ahead of GMT)

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Sadly our weekend (Thursday and Friday) is almost over

Hi ladies,
scifi I've done the walking. Have walked about 40 minutes today, pushing ds in buggy.
Also did some dancing on the wii with a friend, so that's a bit more exercise.
Haven't weighed in today, it's too soon after starting I think, so will wait till next friday to sync with everyone else, and give myself time to actually lose something
Well done to all the losers! Gives me hope.

Well done queen. I managed some pilates today. Made me realise how unfit and unflexible I am. I only managed about 20 mins and had to give up . Oh well I can only improve!

Muminbeds yeap your right 14lb in a stone had me confused too,
it sat at 11.13 but I thought I seen 11.14 flicker up must have imagined it so thought I would go with 11.14, as 11.13 seems abit too good to be true

Will stick with 12 stone and work from there(you know I'm going to weigh again tonight now don't you)

I bought Hannah Waterman DVD and was puffed out after the warm up no wonder she lost so much weight

Have been good so far

Well today i have had:
banana smoothie
2 x cappucino
4 handfuls branflakes
4 dried apricots
a mini chupa chups lolly (24 cals!)

Dinner is going to be moule mariniere with french bread and lashings of white wine Fri night and Sat night are my "off" nights I think...hence weigh in fri morn

Well done to all you losers! A stone by Easter is definitely possible! We can do it!!

Hi ya girlies...

I have done really well despite it being my birthday... My mum cooked us a dinner of fish and prawns with roasted potatoes...

I got a wii fit plus for my pressie YAY!!!! Am really chuffed and am going to try it out later can't wait! Any particular program I should try ladies????

did the cardio blitz which started off with the warm up & I was puffed, so I think I will do a bit extra every day
It was fast paced but not too fast that I couldn't keep up
