Well half term is over, back to school tomorrow and Spring is in the air...time to get rid of the winter flab methinks!

I weigh 11 stone and want to be 10 by Easter (and ultimately around the 9 stone 7-10 mark) - six weeks to do 14lbs doable I think?

My reward will be lovely shopping for summer clothes.

My plan is to do HM smoothie or cereal breakfast, Soup or salad lunch and "normal" healthyish dinner (but watch the portion size on carbs. I will be trying to drink lots of water and less coffee/alcohol and exercising 3 x per week (prob be running but am considering joining a gym!!)

So anyone who fancies joining me feel free

Today: Strawb and yog smoothie/prawn salad/shepherds pie and brocolli. Might run later if it ever stops RAINING!!

Sorry to hear that you're in the same boat as me em83. It's so frustrating and demoralising isn't it?

I just keep telling myself that giving up will just mean I put on weight. There is no other option other than to keep going.

Well done on the .5 lb porridge even a little is better than nothing .

twinkle183 · 05/03/2010 09:45

Right thats it... I have had enough of mucking about.... I have weighted myself this morning to find nothing... Why won't my body accept that this weight has to go!!!

Apart from the packet of biscuits I have been really good and had no caffeine but saying that I have been ill and unable to take fluids on... dh says that my body is clinging to water!! So am going to hydrate this morning..

Have done wii fit for 10 mins this morning and am off for a run now on the treadmill!!

So I feel everybodies pain... but we need to keep it up!!!

PlumBumMum thanks for the recommendation and the warning for HW dvd, haven't done it yet am going to do a couple of sessions of running first and then attempt it if its as bad as you say.....

PlumBumMum · 05/03/2010 11:27

QueenofDreams · 05/03/2010 17:34

Hi ladies. Not a good week for us lot then is it? I've weighed in today, and my ten days of hard dietin and lots of exercise has resulted in a gain of 1lb. I was 12.11 last week wednesday, and today am 12.12 how the hell does that work?
I feel hungry from not snacking and from eatin salads etc durin the day, and I've bloody gained weight. Oh well, hope for better things next friday.

sugarandsweetness · 05/03/2010 20:37

duckyfuzz · 05/03/2010 20:47

another one at a stnadstill here, but will put it down to dreadful 4-day weekend last week plus late nights and be happy I'm back to where I was a week ago, rather than where I was on Tuesday (it was bad!)

sugarandsweetness I've spent no extra money but lost 2 stones between June and November, mostly by cutting out bread (most of the time) and alcohol (on a school night) the trouble is I need to shift another half a stone minimum and its going nowhere. I will have to start running again

have a lvoely weekend everyone, PILs for lunch tomorrow so I will n odoubt drink far too much wine

sugarandsweetness · 05/03/2010 21:06

Thanks Duckyfuzz I do like my wine so that has to stop and my bread thats where im going wrong, fair play to you, have a nice weekend.

duckyfuzz · 05/03/2010 21:08

giving up the wine was a killer, but now I know I can have it fri/sat/sun and keep the weight off its ok, but every time I have bread I bloat up like a balloon our holiday in France this summer won;t be as much fun as usual!

MumGoneCrazy · 06/03/2010 01:00

twinkle183 · 06/03/2010 10:47

Hi ya girlies... even though I weighted myself yesterday - I just wanted to check to see if anymore had removed itself!!! And was pleasantly surprised to find a 1lb had decided to shift itself!!

Went for a run yesterday and did the wii fit for about half hour with the hubby who is completely addicted to the flying chicken... never laughed so much in my life...

Am doing a circuit with hubby tonight as saturday night telly is something to be missed at the moment! lol

Keep going girliest....

NumberOneEnemy · 06/03/2010 12:09

has anyone foudn they are POOIN less

SciFiFan · 06/03/2010 17:37

That's a very random question to throw onto a thread you've just joined numberone or should you be named numbertwo

How's everyone done today. I've done OK on the food front and been for a long walk. I'm trying to be ultra-good between now and Monday to see if I can kick start some weight loss. I have to admit it's hard and I can't wait to have my dinner!

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 06/03/2010 18:38

Right, where's Mrs Potiphar - I need some discipline not to eat all the butterfly buns I made with DS1. The only thing standing between me and them is the fact I'm not sure that he washed his hands properly before making them...

Mrs P - give me some tough love

MumGoneCrazy · 06/03/2010 18:42

Boiled egg and 1 slice of toast for brekkie

Small bowl of spag bol at about 5ish

a banana just now and an apple about 1ish

not s much water as i should be drinking though so am going to try and up that

Ive also done a workout with claire sweeney which was a 10min full body workout and 10 mins tummy toner with 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down.

Going to take the dog for a walk in a bit

NumberOneEnemy · 06/03/2010 18:46

YoginiBikini · 06/03/2010 18:58

Super poos from YoginiBikini. Perfect in every way thankyou NumberOne. Are yours good or just less frequent?

YoginiBikini 96 - still

Spent most of the day sitting around in the hairdressers drinking black coffees so haven't had a huge amount of calories, yet. We've friends coming over this evening so I can afford a glass of champagne or two.

I've not been exercising this week so my aim for the week ahead is to move more. Some of you are doing really well.

Have a good evening all.

isthatporridgeinyourhair · 06/03/2010 20:28

Thank Cod you're here, Mrs P/No1

Have stepped away from the butterfly buns and am imagining my tanned and toned physique this summer. Unfortunately still a bit of work to do .

And in answer to your question - yes.

Have continued to be good - poached egg/smoked salmon on a slice of granary toast and teriyaki beef/pepper/broccoli for tea.

Well done Twinkle!

simmo39 · 06/03/2010 21:50

Yes a 3 1/2 lb loss!

Weighed myself yesterday but haven't had chance to get online. I'm not sure the exercise helped as didn't do that much and Davina DVD still hasn't arrived. Must just be the LC diet as have been good this week with it. New batch of food I had delivered looks good too for next week so aiming for 4lb at next weight in.

duckyfuzz · 06/03/2010 21:55

simmo - well done you!

havign a reasonable weekend, had lots of salad at lunch time, small portion of lasagne, no bread, small serving of trifle plenty of wine though

cod - no, more if anything in fact

well done to all losers, even little losers, I am still hoping to shift a reasonable amount by easter, although the full stone is looking unlikely atm

redshoesnoknickers · 07/03/2010 08:27

Hi all - I need to post on here more i think - keeps me focused! so today yog and fruit/roast pork dinner

i am going to go for a run when DH gets up and i've got loads of work to do so hopefully that will keep me busy!

must drink more water too...

twinkle183 · 07/03/2010 11:09

Morning... girlies...

I have had a really good day yesterday... I walked around Ennerdale Lake which is about 6.3 miles with three kiddies and dh... but lets just say that it is not pushchair friendly and I ended up carrying ds2 around the bloody lake for about 2.5 miles!! It was mental... And I won't be doing it again

Am going to go for a run later to make sure I keep this fitness up.!

kurves · 07/03/2010 11:48

hi ladies i am doing the Cambridge diet and i also want to loose a stone by Easter i started yesterday and i am finding it ok as i am not on sole source where you have only shakes i am on one where you can have food for example; i can have a shake for breakfast a fruit salad for mid morning snack, another shake for lunch, salads for mid afternoon snack and at a healthy dinner it all works out at 1000 cals but i can also have as many low calorie and sugar free drinks i like.

So i hope that i do do it well done to the guys that have already started to loose weight i have to lose 3 stones in total but aiming for my first stone by Easter i hope to loose 3 stones by june so that i can enjoy the summer .
