Just got in from work and really craving peanut butter.

Can't decide between:

Peanut butter, bacon, honey and banana on toast
BLT with peanut butter
Tuna mayo sandwich with peanut butter
Tuna and peanut butter omelette (I beat 2 eggs and mix in 1 can of tuna, peanut butter and chilli powder)

You probably all think I'm disgusting now!

When I'm not on a diet I like PB, nutella, marshmallow fluff, bananas and strawberries on toast. God I wish I could eat that now!

nappyaddict · 15/04/2010 00:50

BTW someone told me a tip today. If you can't eat sandwiches dry then it's better to spread extra light mayonnaise on the bread instead of low fat spread cos it has less syns.

smallblackflowers · 15/04/2010 12:21

I weighed in this morning - lost 3.5lbs in my first week. Am very

nappyaddict · 15/04/2010 13:32

I went for the omelette in the end but used shredded chicken and added some cherry tomatoes and spring onion as well. mmmmmmm.

Off to the gym in a bit if DS wakes up in time.

Well done SBF, that's brilliant

zookeeper · 16/04/2010 08:28

can anyone tell me if the muller light yogurts with the chocolate sprinkled in are free?

clutteredup · 16/04/2010 13:29

Well done SBF
zookeeper - all the Muller Lite Yoghurts are syn free apart from the one with cherries and chocolate beacause it has jam the bottom - the other chocolate sprinkly ones are free - i checked in the SW magazine. The choccy sprinkle ones are good if you're having a chocolate craving as are Alpen Lite orange and chocolate cereal bars - I usually have 2 of them as my B choice - in fact the other day I crunched one up and had it in my yoghurt but it was all syn free.

zookeeper · 16/04/2010 17:26

thanks Cluttered

nappyaddict · 16/04/2010 17:59

Just made a peanut butter and banana bread. 48 syns for the whole thing so if I cut it into 12 slices that's 4 syns per slice. Might be able to get more slices out of it not sure. This is the recipe - obviously I left out the chocolate!

130g wholemeal self raising flour
55g very low fat spread
1 free range egg
2 mashed bananas
3 tablespoon low fat crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
50g chocolate chips or broken chocolate pieces (I use mixture of dark and white)

Mix all ingredients together and cook at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes in a greased loaf tin or until a skewer comes out clean.

Franniban · 16/04/2010 20:21

Well, done 5 days so far, been running for 3 days and done a bit of wii fit and am now cracking into the red wine, first of the week, and been saving up my syns. Not good I know, but I can't go all week with out wine can I?

Strawberries, so I can eat offgreen and red on the same day but just have one a and one b, that sounds too good to be true! Or am I getting confused!

Franniban · 19/04/2010 07:46

Well Monday morning weight in. 7lbs! Yeah. Am very please, and it has spurred me, to try and shift the further 2.5 stones that I need to loose before August.

smallblackflowers · 19/04/2010 15:32

well done franniban that's amazing!

nappyaddict · 19/04/2010 15:48

Just discovered Aldi's Bishop's Land reduced fat cheese. 3.5 syns for 28g and quite tasty too.

Franniban · 19/04/2010 20:24

Thank you. I'm sure that it's mostly water, but it's a start. I've tried those fat measuring scales from Aldi and basically they wouldn't work for me, guess I had too much fat! May go back to them.

smallblackflowers · 22/04/2010 16:29

Its quiet round here.......

Weighed in today and 2.5lbs off, making 6 in my first 2 weeks. Am very pleased!

nappyaddict · 22/04/2010 17:50

I can't find the free sausages in Morrison's any more They had the 60% less fat ones which are 1/2 a syn but not the diet ones which are free.

Franniban · 24/04/2010 19:57

small, that's great, well done. Yes it is quiet round here. Hoping for some more loss this week, have been running 4 times this week at 630 in the morning, that must count for something. Hoping not to blow it all with the weekend!

smallblackflowers · 24/04/2010 20:48

franniban at your 6.30am runs. I bow down to your dedication

I had a bbq this evening, but pleased to say that I saved my A and B in order to have cheese and a wholemeal pitta with my homemade burgers. Yummy. Might have a sneaky extra glass of wine though, have been soooooooo good for nearly 3 weeks now, I'm sure I can handle a few extra syns without everything going tits up!

nappyaddict · 25/04/2010 03:09

What time do you go to bed Franniban I could never get up to run at that time!

Morning all!
I joined SW on Thursday to try and shift my baby weight which turns out to be 2 stone 8.5(a stone for each DS and half for me I reckon!).
Am mainly sticking to the Green plan but still rather by it all.
Anyway, my question is about Muller Lights, are they 0.5 syns on all plans? Some friends told me they are free but I can't find them on free foods?
Thanks!

smallblackflowers · 25/04/2010 11:26

Hi blondie and welcome. AFAIK all mullerlights that don't have a separate saucy layer are free (and that does include the ones with chocolate sprinkles...yummy)

shreksmissus well done on your weight loss! Sounds like we have similar weight goals - I was 11 stone 7.5 at last weigh in, heading for a 10 1/2 stone target.

Going to make some more 'speed soup' today, should do for lunch for the next few days and I'm sure it helped with my 2.5 lbs last week!

blondiep14 · 25/04/2010 11:48

wooooooooo!
thanks sbflowers, could do with a lift now so off to scoff a vanilla one with a 'nana!

clutteredup · 26/04/2010 14:45

I lost 2.5 lbs last week hooray - really hope to get my 1.5 stone award this week although its been a bit bad - I had lunch out with a friend on friday and then went out on Saturday night and ate out - I was designated driver which at least removed the temptation to drink and I did try to make sensible choices.
Just really want to shift this next bit before half term - my mum told me at new year that I was too fat and I should lose one stone this year, one stone next year and so on - we're going to visit them at half term and I really want have lost 2 stone to show her I can make these decision on my own - a bit pathetic really as I know she was only trying to help - it just really upset me as I had already reached the same conclusions on my own I didn't really need her to tell me too.

porkypoo · 26/04/2010 17:19

Can I join you all?

Off to SW tomorrow night for the first time. I have been shopping to stock up on Muller light yogs etc. can anyone else tell me of any staple stock cupboard essentials that i need and are classed as free? is cous cous free?

I need to loose 2st and I am really keen (for now!)
