Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

Its not bad, one my first day i hated it, but the next day i added a bit more water and now i like it, so i will stick with it for breakfast

sailsclo · 01/02/2010 14:10

cenglish... what other boxes did you buy? you can have any of them for breakfast as they all contain the sames nutrients etc

I have the hot chocolate for breakfast, as its quite filling, and as i have to take asprin, i need somr thing that lines my stomach. and by the time ive followed that with a large glass of water (to down all the vitamins with) im usually pretty full.

today i had the hot chocolate for brekfast, then the caramel drink (goes down easy with a straw!) and ive just had a massive bowl of mixed salad leaves, celery, beansprouts, 2 little tomatoes cut into millions of pieces to make them go further! followed by a tomato soup!

ive got a cappucino and a beef n onion soup left for today!...... and another gallon of water! think i'll just boil my veggies tonight, getting bored with stir fry!

cenglish · 01/02/2010 16:03

i have

hot choc
vanilla desser
ham and cheese omlette
varous soup selection
Various savoury meals selection
plain bread (can only have 3 times a week

anju72 · 01/02/2010 16:45

Do you make up the soups / hot choc at home and then just heat it later or do you carry the packs and make them as you need them. I tried making the hot choc at work today and it did not mix too well.

sailsclo · 01/02/2010 16:47

oh whats the bread like? does it resemble normal bread?

i had the selection boxes on my first week. now I buy the not mixed boxes (cant think what to call them!!!!)

I got my soups muddled up and bought a box of potato and leek........ dont like it!

but this week i bought

2 x hot choc
2 x caramel drink
1 x beef and onion soup
1 x herb omlette (another one where you can only have 3 a week)
1 x cappucino
1 x potato leek yuk soup
1 x tomato soup

im buying a few extra boxes a week for a few weeks, so that i can have more of an option

cenglish · 01/02/2010 16:50

Oh thanks for tellin me about the Herb omlette, didnt know you could only have it 3 times a week, so that means i can not touch that this week.

Tomato soup is ok
Love veg soup, and asparagus soup. Beef and onion is another nice one, have to remember what i like.

Gosh you bought alot how much did that cost you?

I think i will do the same so you have verity in the week.

sailsclo · 01/02/2010 16:50

anju72 ........... im at home or in the area most of the time so ive been making mine at home, havent used the shaker yet, think id be there all day with that! ive been using a blender thingy.

the hot chocolate is ok cold, so you could make it up and take it with you for later. also the caramel one is easy to drink and thats cold too. some people also freeze them!

cenglish · 01/02/2010 16:51

oh the bread is not like our own bread, but its ok.

I bake it in oven and then let it sit for half an hour and then toast and add the apricot (that tastes of apricot)

cenglish · 01/02/2010 16:54

make the soup with cold water in the shaker (take out the blue toggle if you have one it in, some dont have them in it) and your packet of soup or drink and shake the shaker for a few seconds, there is not lumps its fine.

Pour into a bowl or cup and heat in microwave. I always use the shaker is so handy.

sailsclo · 01/02/2010 16:57

cenglish............ last weeks bill for food and treatment was £281.

I didnt realise about the eggs as thats all i ate the first week, but she told me last week not to have more than 3 a week!

they did mention that they would like to double up my treatment but thats gonna top it up around another £100 a week, has any one else had extra treatments? and do you think its worth it?

notapizzaeater · 01/02/2010 17:25

I make the hot choc with about 200 ml of water then when I want it I add boiling water in a huge mug and give it a stir and its ready to drink.

I bought extra last week and this week too so I can ring the changes. For breakfast I always have my vanilla dessert made up as a latte in a huge 500 ml mug (helping me with my liquid intake) I am trying to have most of my water in the morning so am not up to much in the night.

My jeans feel really loose on me today so looking forward to getting weighed on Wednesday,

I liked the asparagus soup but thats a 3 a week one as well.

Not been told about extra treatments, will wait and see about that one ....

cenglish · 01/02/2010 20:23

Oh i have omlette every day, no one mention not eating it every day. Most of their evening meals are omlettes

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 20:29

Has this been said, sorry but just read the first few posts and it sounds like a complete scam? No offence intended. But 'body hoovering' for £££ a week.

Someone is making a fortune.

Flightattendant · 01/02/2010 20:34

Sorry, I realise that may have sounded very rude - I didn't meant o cause any offence, assumed someone else would have mentioned it earlier.
I'll leave you to it and hope you are enjoying it and it is worthwhile.
Apologies.

...though I notice now they have not posted for a couple of months. That's good...

cenglish · 02/02/2010 08:40

Hi flightattendant, everyone is allowed there opinion, I dont know about the other posters but i am a real mum who wants to lose weight.

I have only been on alizonne 2 weeks but i have lost weight and my confidence is growing, you dont sign up to a contract and you can leave when you chose to. Yes it is alot of money, but you see the results you even see it in the clinic with clients who have achieved their goal in months.

anju72 · 02/02/2010 09:53

I have been told to get 2 treatments a week as I have a large belly. Since I have had only 1 treatment so far, I can't comment as yet on its benefits. But will update you by next week if I see any visible results on the scale or the measuring tape.

Yesterday I sauteed spinach, bit of tomato, spring onion tops, dried herbs, onion and garlic salt, salt, pepper - blitzed the whole thing and added the made up potato pie sachet into it and it tasted pretty decent.

cenglish · 02/02/2010 11:00

anju72 who told you to have 2 treatments the doctor or therapist?

cenglish · 02/02/2010 11:01

i wonder once you get to your target weight and you have some hard to shift areas your not happy with, can you still get the treatments even thou you have finished with the diet?

notapizzaeater · 02/02/2010 11:40

Cenglish - yes you can just have the treatments at my clinic so should't be a problem.

cenglish · 02/02/2010 12:21

notapizzaeater, what clinic to you go to?

notapizzaeater · 02/02/2010 17:53

Leeds

cenglish · 03/02/2010 16:23

tried the fish soup, oh gosh it is horrible.

not tryin that one again, mushroom is lovely

notapizzaeater · 03/02/2010 18:28

I chucked the fish soup away, think its the worse thing I have ever tasted ! closely followed by sheeps cheese then leek and pot soup.

I do like the veg soup and the mushroom.

Lost 4.6 lbs this week so happy with that. Jeans I put on this morning clean from wash I normally have to lay down to fasten and they "give" as the day goes, today they fitted fine
