Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

Any suggestion for good Vegetarian food packs?

you can use shiriitaki noodles from any asian markets they come from the konyaku tree in south east asia have no carbohydrates and can be found in the fridge section, use them with any stir fry veg on your list and a little 5 spice. Also frozen berries like raspberries have same carb content as rhubarb. You can also use a half hass avocado and omit the portion of olive oil you get your omega oil from this portion. An egg white omelette is also non carb using your list of veg it is great with salads. any other tips or queries just ask

Well, I've booked in for my first consultation. They were very good on the phone and weekends look like they won't be a problem as Liverpool isn't big on numbers yet. They even offered to just get someone to come in just for me! what great customer service!
Glad pratz is there too, at least I'm not on my own! We'll have to trade the packs we hate - looks like there's not many of us to swap with.
I am trying to recruit a couple of friends to do it with me too - if I get anything like the results people post on here they will be filling the clinic before Xmas. They've all said they'll wait to see my early results before parting with any cash, so no pressure then...

Hi Beccie77, Today is my 4th day and I am managing well. On 2nd day I had lot of doubt that I can not live with such food packs but from 3rd day I am getting used to with the taste. My first session at the Liverpool went well. Both the treatments were good nothing to be afraid of. Staff is really friendly. I like your idea of swapping the food packs. My next visit is on Monday, 9th. May be I will see you sometime

Hi Everyone.. I've just started the Alizonne diet and am very impressed by all the fab reviews but unfortunately due to my medication (Diabetes and U/A Thyroid) the food sachets do not agree with me and I will have to stop the diet. I have a lot of sachets for sale which I would be happy to discount to anyone who is interested.

Please email me on [email protected] for more details

Went for my first weigh on friday and lost just under half stone!!! Very happy!!! I've got to say it does make it all worth it! First week was awful trying to adjust to the taste of the food (which some of it I still can't stomach) and supplements , lethargic, headaches etc but it has got loads better and I have got lots more energy than before. I have not missed "real" food at all to be honest even cooking meals for my hubby and two year old which is amazing!!! I've not been hungry which was my biggest fear and treatments aren't bad either!!!!!

Hi everyone, I had to stop Alizonne as I ran out of money! I have got a bag full of the food sachets which I'd love to recover some money on. If you're interested, PM me.

Cheers.

Yesterday went for my first weigh and lost 7lbs (half stone in one week !!) can't believe the result. First 3 days were horrible and my choice of food was also not good in the first week. This week I have bought more of cold & hot drinks, desserts etc. I cook variety of dishes for my family of 4 and don't get any craving. My family says I look more fresh, happy & energetic. This plan is working for me.

Hi Everyone, Congrats and well done to all you committed Alizonners who it seems, are doing so well...

Just an update, I have now sold all of my sachets and supplements... thank you to everyone who was interested... I am having to go it alone and calorie/carb/fat count as Alizonne didn't agree with me.. constant vomiting which I couldn't sustain as I am on so much diabetic/thyroid/statin medication and couldn't keep anything down.. ...Good Luck to you all, I wish you all the very best..

Hi all.
Quick update on week 4. I have now lost a total of 1 stone & 2 lbs. I feel great particularly as I have a very low metabolic rate and was told my weight loss would be slower than average. I believe the key is to try and keep active as much as possible. Only 5 kg to go before phase 2.
Hope your all doing ok, keep us posted on your losses, it's a great motivation or us all. ; - )

Hi hazel
. I make a raspberry clafoutis as it looks like a muffin, texture of a bath sponge but not too unpleasant

Hi there everyone
I've just started the programme, have my 4th weigh in tomorrow, but as of week 3 I had lost a whopping 20lb! I am delighted, as I have an underactive thyroid and have always struggled to lose weight previously. I have another 50lb to lose, but am starting to believe the doctor's prediction that I will be at goal weight by mid December! When they first told me I would be 5 stone lighter in 16 weeks I thought they were being ridiculously optimistic, but I'm actually ahead of target!
I've started a blog, slummybigfatmummy.wordpress.com, charting the high and lows of my journey, plus meal discoveries etc. Having said that, I've just tried the raspberry clafoutis, which was exactly like an eggy tasteless bath sponge, Easteregg123 - it made me cough, I just couldn't get it down and I threw it in the bin... along with the fruits of the forest yoghurt and the oatmeal - not a very successful week for trying new things lol!

Well, I got back from my lovely holiday on Sunday evening (had a fantastic time, loved every minute of it), and this morning finally stood on the scales. Am very chuffed as (despite really not sticking to the diet at all), I had lost another 300 gr since the morning I went away, when I finally reached my target. I had fully intended to follow Phase 5, but it's a bit difficult when you are staying with friends, so I just had to go with the flow - I hadn't intended to drink any alcohol at all for instance, but what do you do when you are taking to winneries for tastings? My one big indulgence, however, is icecream and I had no idea that moose tracks icecream is a diet aid! That said, I did try to swim 12-14 lengths every day and also did aquarobics three days when we were in Scottsdale.

Anyway, for the last three days I have been strictly back to Phase 5, and go along on Monday for what is probably my last treatment, followed by a review a week later.

Best wishes to all the newbies - it's the best thing I have done for years and years; wish I had known about it before.

NUFC69 well done, that's brilliant, you'll soon shift the small amount you've put on.

I am on week 6 have lost another 3 1/2 pounds that makes just under a stone and a half for me and I will be on phase 2 in about 1-2 weeks. Am really chuffed with my progress and would definitely recommend it, like you I wished I had heard of it years ago, I have more energy Than I've had or a long time.
Take care
Susie

Thanks, Easter - actually you misread, I am under my target now by over 300 gr, sorry I didn't put it well. Well done on being so close to your target - isn't it great having to buy smaller sizes? What I found interesting is that the closer you are to target, the quicker the dress sizes alter.

You will need to start another thread soon as this one is almost full - although you will probably have finished by then, too.

Hi all
Today was my 5th weigh in - I was a bit disappointed as I only lost 2.5lb. But then my therapist added up my total losses - 26.5lb in 5 weeks is pretty amazing! I've also lost a whopping 6 inches from my waist! Must admit, I've struggled with the 5th sachets this last week and find myself uncomfortably stuffed after my evening meal... But vowing to get back on it 100% this week.
Hope you all have a good week too!

Started properly today. My lord the quinton is foul! I can actually taste the sea! and the potassium isn't much better! Luckily I had a hot choc ready for breakfast and that is lovely and took the taste away. The suppliments are going to be my biggest challenge I think.
Working out how to carry some of my meals around has been an unexpected challenge - I know I'm not going to want an orange drink from a flask that's just made curry soup, so I'm having to stock up on travel flasks!
Not hungry though, but missing milk from my cup of tea.

NUFC69 · 29/09/2013 20:00

Beccie - my clinic gave me a shaker which is really good for mixing up the orange drinks, etc. It has a round ball in it - one really good shake and you're away (and it is transportable, too). I love the orange and pineapple drink - tastier than the orange, imo.

Good luck!

Hi all. Not sure what's happening this week, but have lost around 4lb (Monday) and my weigh in is not til Thursday, I can't say that I've been doing too much different other than using the drink sachets more than the food ones. Not exorcising too much either as I have a bad foot!!! Not complaining though, it's just getting me to my target weight that much quicker yipppeeeee

Hope your all doing ok

I shall have to request a shaker, that sounds great.

I am on Day 3 and although they did warn me that when you hit ketosis and the fat cells start to release they carry stores of oestrogen which is then released into your system, I had no idea it would hit me like this! Spent the day shuttling between angry and weepy - hope this wears off quickly as I'm back at work tomorrow! My poor DH got the full brunt. Plus, it turns out I am terrible at cooking all of the savoury sachets, going to order a job lot of hot choc and milkshakes when I go back.

Anyone know about rhubarb? I've put a question on the official forum, but I have two papers in my file, one says it is limited, one says it is unlimited - which one is right?
