Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

Thats brilliant and think of the money you are saving

derevkofan · 28/01/2010 19:22

Not too dizzy now Cenglish - increasing the salt must be working!

cenglish · 29/01/2010 13:34

i got my weight wrong it thought i was 12stone, but when i started i was 11st 10lbs, and this week i am 11st 6lbs, so thats 4lbs loss, which is good as i have been on my period,.

I said to the therapist that will i have more next week, she said prob not as the first one is always good, so was dissappointed about that.

She also said my metabolic rate was slow, so what does that mean i'll only lose a couple of lbs a week? I have only 16lbs more to lose, but i cant see myself being slim, i think i have large bones (is that possible), i have big claves, big thighs (this is what they are working on), but no stomach, but wide hips, all bottom heavy. i wonder will i be able to lose it all and be nice a slim that i can wear skinny jeans and can wear knee high boots (cant wear any of these at the moment)

sailsclo · 29/01/2010 13:58

ha ha.... ive had an actifry for a couple of years, and like you all, i love it!!!

had my first treatment yesterday, wasnt as bad as i'd imagined it to be, i think the worst part was the hoovering bit! but thankfully that only lasted a couple of minutes! they told me to just leave my knickers on under the ultra-non-sexy-suit!

having only been on the food for one week and before any treatments, she was please with my weigh in, as ive lost a whooping 8lb so quite chuffed about that!

my swede chips, i cut the raw swede into chunky chips then boil them till they are nearly soft. drain them and dry on kitchen roll, then pop in a frying pan with my spoon of olive oil, im getting quite addicted to them, considering im not really a 'chip' person!!!

also i asked about using 'stir fry' oil and they said yes thats ok, its so much tastier than plain olive oil!

smilemylee.......... so sorry to hear your news. obviously not meant to be this time, but im sure that doesnt make it any easeir for you. i lost one many years ago, i was only 6 weeks, so i kind of understand how you may feel. i now have 2 little monsters running around, so dont give up, but i would suggest getting alizonne done and your body back into a 'normal' routine

derevkofan · 29/01/2010 14:41

Hi Cenglish. My weight losses have been very variable over the weeks - I only lost 1lb my second week then 2.5 the 3rd but then lost 5.5lbs the 4th week. This is despite following the diet the same every week so don't worry too much about the rate - I was ready for packing it in before my last weigh-in as I was wondering if it was worth the money and side effects for the off pound loss here and there but then the 5.5lbs spurred me on more. I'll be weighed again tomorrow and I'm sure I have onoly lost a pound or 2 since I went on Monday if that. One of the drs advises that you consider your weight loss over 4 weeks, particularly in women with monthly weight fluctuations, instead of focusing on each week. I've decided to take that advice myself!

Sailsclo - I had swede chips again yesterday - not sure I could cope without them!

cenglish · 29/01/2010 15:50

is swede free veg or part of the 200g table?

anju72 · 29/01/2010 16:31

swede is part of the 200g table. Just had the first treatment and didn't realise it itched...

derevkofan · 29/01/2010 19:21

Mine didn't itch until the 4th time when a different therapist put the things on me - very odd indeed!

cenglish · 30/01/2010 20:01

today i wore a fitted top instead of the usual jumper and relatives said they could notice my weigh lost. Really happy but i felt good in what i wore even thou i had only lost 4lbs this week.

Not good with the water today, didnt want to be our and about needed the toilet every two mins, so will try to catch up tonight

notapizzaeater · 30/01/2010 22:39

Been to the pictures so froze a choc dessert and poppped it in an insulated cup then at 9pm started eating it. It hadn't defrosted at all so was too cold to taste ! Filled a hole I suppose but I did have my first swig of diet coke since starting and oh it was good !!!

cenglish - good news about people noticing.

Itching - mine hasn't itched till the last few mins and they are the longest mins in the world !

BettySuarez · 30/01/2010 23:12

can anyone confirm the cost of starting Allizone? Is it £220 per week or per month?

derevkofan · 31/01/2010 09:22

It costs 120 per week for the combined treatments and then you pay for the sachets. If you just get the 5 boxes that you need each week that's £90 so a total cost of 210 per week. However, initially people tend to spend more than that on extra sachets until they find what they like, the starter pack including the body suit, you pay for supplements, blood tests, doctor's review every 4-6 weeks as well. It is expensive but it's guaranteed to work if you stick to it and I think the cost makes people stick to it more - no point throwing money like that at a diet if you cheat all the time!

notapizzaeater · 31/01/2010 10:04

I agree - the price does make you stick at it. Normally if dieting I would have been well its mine and OH birthday treat so we can have a meal and we can go the cinema and we can have ice cream but because of this we went to the cinema and I took my own stuff and resisted the popcorn.

cenglish · 31/01/2010 10:06

BettySuarez, i am into my second week, and i have lost 4lbs i feel so much better even thou its a small lost. It does cost abit but its worth it.

I dont have to count any points, i dont have to look in my books to see if its a green day or red day. i just open a sachet and add water (and they dont taste that bad).

I have cooked dinners for the family i.e. Pork chops with all the trimming and didnt even want any. Went into BK to get my DD chips and wasnt even tempted. I dont feel hungry and went i do its time to have my sachet. I am eating more on this (5 times a day) then i did before i started.

I would recommend it

anju72 · 31/01/2010 10:59

I made some patties which were quite yummy out of the potato pie sachet - stirred in a bit of chopped spinach, red/green peppers, grated carrot and coriander. Mixed in a bit of garlic salt, salt, pepper. Then made them up into patties and fried them in a non stick pan with 1 tsp olive oil. They smelt so good that everyone wanted to taste a bit.

notapizzaeater · 31/01/2010 11:10

Are we allowed carrots ?? I have the potato pie, might try this later

sailsclo · 31/01/2010 19:41

NO carrots :-(

sailsclo · 31/01/2010 19:48

i think my fav is the beef and onion soup,

i had the cheese soufle tonight, didnt like it, so chopped it up into millions of little cardboard pieces and mixed it into my stir-fried veggies, it helped a bit!!!

other than my pack of celery every day (which i cant get enough of!), im getting fed up with my salad lunches and veggies dinners! i love both, but i think as im having the same every day its getting boring

im still enjoying my swede chips though!

BTW cant remember if i mentioned it or not, but i asked about having the stir-fry oil, which is basically olive oil but flavoured and they said thats fine!

notapizzaeater · 31/01/2010 20:16

I also had the cheese thing tonight - or I prepared it and mashed it with some cauliflower/brocolli added some herbs, then tried some pepper, then some dried chillis, then left it !!!

I didn't like the beef and onion soup love toe oriental chicken curry soup though - add that to a stir fry and make a beansprout sort of soup - heaven !!

cenglish · 31/01/2010 20:24

can u have beansprouts? oh i love the beef & onion soup, veg soup

notapizzaeater · 31/01/2010 20:56

yes but not too many - its in section 5

sailsclo · 01/02/2010 07:33

the book says beansprouts are in the permitted list, so you can have as many as you like!

ive been having them in my salads at lunchtime and if i have a stir-fry in the evening, I have them again!

the beef n onion soup, i think is the most 'like' the real thing!

cenglish · 01/02/2010 08:17

oh i will buy some to have in a stir fry.

I made a boo boo, i bought 6 boxes of food but forgot to buy my oatmeal now i am stuck on what to have for breakfast. My appointment is not till saturday.

anju72 · 01/02/2010 08:24

I enjoyed the mushroom soup with lemon pepper salt and sauteed mushrooms and spring onion greens.

anju72 · 01/02/2010 09:35

How is the oatmeal? Heard mostly that it was vile?
