Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

Ok the doc told me to have 2 treatments, but the therapist said its ok to have 1 a week.
The effect is not particularly enhanced if you do it more than once a week was her opinion.

So I will stick to once a week as its more convenient. I will also continue it even after the 8 week diet because they said for the tummy to go down, I would need at least 10-12 treatments.

Yesterday I did grilled mushrooms with the sheeps cheese and it was amazing.
I sauted spring green tops with a bit of chopped spinach. Added a pinch of cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric and chilli. Added the made up sheeps cheese sachet. Mixed it all and then added it to 2 large mushroom caps. Grilled it with 1 spray on a grill pan. Cheese melted beautifully with the spinach and was superb with a bit of lemon & pepper.

Please try this and let me know if you like it.

anju72, is that how long you've been told you will have to be on the diet 8 weeks?

I have been told 8 weeks too, this week i think i have only lost a lb, so i think it is going to take longer

anju72 · 05/02/2010 08:40

Yes I have been told 8 weeks, but even I doubt it. Just completed a week on diet, 2 treatments and I have lost 1kg.

The tomato soup is seriously vile. It put me off dinner!!

anju72 · 05/02/2010 08:41

cenglish - how much weight have you lost in how many weeks?

cenglish · 05/02/2010 21:17

anju, this is my second week and i have lost 9lbs so i am really happy, just 12lbs to lose till i get to my target

SmileyMylee · 06/02/2010 11:15

Start the diet again tomorrow. Was going to be today, but just been looking at the lamb joint that I was going to cook for lunch!)

Have 2 stones left to lose and think I will get there in about 6 - 8 weeks and then just phasing off. I've already lost 8 stones so I know the diet works and I can stick to it, but starting it again after 2 months off is a bit hard. Just keep looking at the size 12 clothes that I have bought and intend to get in (down from size 26/28). Mostly looking forward to bing able to buy some nice underwear.

To whoever said it was a rip off, I think you should know a little more before you make such snap judgements. The 'hoovering' does work. It sounds strange, but even though I have lost 8 stones - I have no loose skin, which is unbelievable if you consider how much weight I have lost in 5 months. Many people who lose a lot of weight need to then spend thousands on cosmetic surgery to get loose skin removed. Neither myself nor my husband (who lost 5.5 stones) have needed this.

It may sound bizarre but it works.

anju72 · 08/02/2010 08:29

At the end of week 1, I have lost around 6lbs. Am in shock!! No longer feel hungry. I make the hot chocolate last me the whole day. Hugely helps in the evening when I need a slight pick up.
The porridge works great with a pinch of cinnamon and more water. So thank you for the suggestion.
Cenglish - I have approx 21lbs to lose, so pls keep me updated with your progress as it motivates me to stay on the line.

cenglish · 08/02/2010 08:42

will go anju72.

I think Alizonne is a brill diet, we had a box of crispy creme doughnuts at home and i wasnt even tempted, if I was on WW i would of had one and said to myself i'll just eat fewer points the next (which i wouldn't do.

I am never hunger only when i am due my next sachet (every 4 hours). My skin has never looked so good (3l water every day) and i have so much energe

anju72 · 08/02/2010 10:58

Please let me know which soups I should order. I have my next treatment on Wed. So far I like the mushroom soup.
I see that Beef onion seems to also be pretty decent.
Any thing else?

cenglish · 08/02/2010 11:06

oh yes i love the Beef & onion, and the veg.

STay away from tomato and fish eurgh

notapizzaeater · 08/02/2010 13:56

I like the mushroom, veg and the chicken curry one (use this as a sauce with beansprouts as well)

anju72 · 09/02/2010 08:19

Hi the London clinic confirmed that there is no restriction on the omelettes. So you can have 1 a day if you like.

cenglish · 09/02/2010 08:26

oh i always have a omelette for dinner (i know very boring), but i enjoy it and have porridge for breakfast (not so bad if you dont make it too thick)

Cant wait for my weight in this week, therapist said around week 4/5 that you dont lose weight, but that it make up for it the following week. So i have week4 next week.

cenglish · 09/02/2010 09:41

i started at 11st 10lb, and i am half way into my third week, my target is 10st 4lbs.

I have lost 9lbs in second week, but my clothes are not any bigger, maybe not as tight.

i have big rugby thighs (which they are workin on), so i wonder will i ever be slim

anju72 · 09/02/2010 11:53

Ok because I started out at 66kg ie. 10st 3lbs. Hope to get to 53 kgs. This morning I was 63kgs.

sailsclo · 09/02/2010 13:08

i lost 6lb in my first week but only 2lb last week, so wasnt very happy! also got my period this weekend (probably why i only lost 2lb), and so have felt on a bit of a downer, and really feel the need for real food......so far have resisted temptation!

I have 6 stone left to get rid of, its gonna be a long ride!

I've also had a couple of night time cramps!

Some one mentioned the soups, I like them all, inc the tomato one and the fish one! My clinic has never ordered the fish soup for any one else, they believe im a bit weird! lol

I had an omlete last night, and chopped up some cherry toms (from my 200g allowance) and added them to it as it was cooking, it was quite nice!

cenglish · 10/02/2010 13:20

when do you have the doctors review?

and waht do they tell you?

i still have my big legs will they ever go????

sailsclo · 10/02/2010 13:52

I have my Dr appointment and blood tests tomorrow.

they havent even started to do any thing on my legs yet, they are still treating my tummy area!

cenglish · 10/02/2010 13:57

do you always have blood test around the same time as doctor review?

no my legs are my biggest problem, i am small onto and big on bottome, I have no belly or boobs

notapizzaeater · 10/02/2010 16:34

had treatment on legs for first time today as well as tummy. Lost 15lbs now in 3 weeks so very happy - Dr review on Tuesday

anju72 · 11/02/2010 08:04

The doc review is once a month. You need to book it. Usually they do a blood test review as well.

cenglish · 11/02/2010 08:24

well i am having bloods done tomorrow so i take it that the review with the doctor will be the following week

sailsclo · 11/02/2010 23:52

i got it wrong sorry! i had my bloods today, i see the Dr in 2 weeks, and from then on, I have my bloods done the week before I see the Dr. The blood results are usually back within 48hrs, so if there was a major problem they would call you.

Im not too happy today as only lost 2lb again, Ive never done any other slimming clubs, but im sure I could lose 2lb with them and save a whole lot of money! I did mention this to the nurse and she said she will speak to the Dr as he has a few tricks up his sleeve and should be able to help me lose more than 2lb each week.

They didnt have some of the foods that I ordered and also they had totally run out of the seawater thingys........ all in all, im feeling a bit let down still

anju72 · 12/02/2010 08:21

What exactly is the purpose of those seawater thingies?? Any idea? Some of those tablets make me nauseous.
