Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

the pancake with chocolate topping was just edible! you have to eat it quickly though, cos they go quite rubbery after a minute or two!!!

BUT the potato pie, was the worst thing i have ever put in my mouth!!!!! just the smell made me heave, i tried two mouthfuls but there was no way it was going down!!!

i did really well fitting them all in at a decent time yesterday but today im lagging behind, so looks like its gonna be another all nighter!!!!

Had pics taken but no body measurements, might get hubby to help tonight

I am using salt, mainly because the only Garlic I have is garlic salt and I'm adding it to the veg.

Hello, Yes you can use salt (and vinegar and pepper & all dried herbs)

No the clinic didnt measure me, lots of very undignified (spelt wrong!!) photos though!!!

Didn't your clinic give you a list to order for next week.

The soup/cold drinks/desserts comes in a mixed box (but don't forget that means you will have fish soup - I mean WTF !!!)

My clinic told me to get the mixed ones this time so I could find out what I liked and wasn't stuck mid week cos I'd ran out of things to have ...

sailsclo · 24/01/2010 20:33

No, i only got a list for the first order, seems they missed a lot as i didnt get the translation sheet either! im sure one day ill end up with chocolate stuff all over my pile of veg!!! it really is hit n miss!!!!

yeah ive got the mixed soups (x2) & mixed desserts. i also have a savory mix, luxury mix then a hot chocolate.

oops, been so busy nattering on here and FB, just realised that i havent had my veggies, so swede chips are cooking now and ill have some runner beans i think! mixed in some salad.
bought a few packs of beansprout seed (mung beans) as you can grow them on kitchen roll, like the kids grow cress at school. so that'll save a few £'s a week!

The potato pie can be quite nice. Mix it with some garam masala and make it a bit thicker. Fry it in a frying pan in small balls quashed down a bit. Serve with 0% yoghurt, some mint and small pieces of cucumber mixed up.

It is expensive but I think its going to be worth it. All the money I've wasted on other diets etc in the past adds up to a lot.
The plus with this is how fast it should work, once i've lost the weight there's no way i'm letting it back on my body lol.

I've been looking at the list of food options and was thinking of trying the selection boxes to begin with.
Can anyone shed any light as to what sachets are included in the assortment boxes?
My list says that the assortment box ranges are - soup, savoury dish, luxury, dessert, cold drinks and vegetarian assortments - can anyone tell me whats in any of these boxes please? xx

Soup has such delights as chicken curry (nice), fish (disgusting), asparagus (nice), mushroom (nice), tomato (not tried yet), beef & onion (not tried yet)

Dessert : chocolate, fruits of the forest "yoghurt", vanilla (nice with coffee to make a latte), pear and choc, mango (I don;t like the desserts much, am going to freeze one to see if its better)

Cold drinks ; orange, orange & pineapple, orange & grapefruit, mango - these are all ok

Not had the others so cant help you. There is a swop box at the clinic so if you don;t like soemthing you can swop - I hated the pizza with avengence so will be taking them back.

Someone above suggested buying an extra couple of boxes - that was really good advice as otherwise I would have had to eat the pizza and personally I'd rather eat snot !!!!!

Report
sailsclo · 25/01/2010 22:20

i bought ALL the selection boxes, but i got 2 of the soups, i also got a hot chocolate.

i think we all seem to like and dislike different things though. ive just had a soup that smelt and tasted fishy, but i dont have a translation sheet, so im only guessing!!! it wasnt too bad. earlier today i had what appeared to be mushroom soup, that was ok too. theres been a couple that i didnt like and i think only one that i couldnt swallow!!! if you read up you can see what they are.

the omlettes are quite ok and you can pile up your veg on the same plate.

next week i think i'll get an extra omlette box and an extra hot chocolate.

ive saved all the empty sachets and with a marker ive written on if they are nice, bad, or vomit makers! then i can take them with me, and hopefully the staff will tell me what ive eaten so far and it will help me to work out what to have next time!

oh the luxury box, just seemed a mish mash of the others, it had soups and hot choc and desserts in.

apparently all the mixed boxes are different from each other (i asked last time i went in)

are any of you (who ive not spoken to b4) going to the brentwood one?
