Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

HI,

i just wondered if any vegetarians had tried this diet/programme - and if so, how did you get on. Thanks.

Jondi · 16/03/2011 00:09

Hi
Going to Leeds clinic for blood tests on Thurs. Eager to get started & hoping to lose about 3st. Any advice/support gratefully accepted.

MH2011 · 18/03/2011 18:05

Hi!

I am attending the Maidenhead clinic and it?s awesome! People there are really friendly and they help you a lot with food ideas and they also give you lots of recipes.

I am in my third week and I am doing ok. I've lost almost 3 kilos in my first week and I am soooo looking forward to my next check up and skin session!

The skin treatments are a bit harsh but its worth it! Makes you feel lighter after each session.

The treatment it?s a bit expensive but I think this treatment makes you spend probably the same amount of money that you usually pay when you are eating out every day. So its well worth it!

The food sachets are not all really nice but if you buy a variety of them you will be fine!

I am just a bit concerned about some kinda food that I would like to try but I dont know if I can like toffu and that kind of stuff... do you think its allowed?

ocean17 · 23/03/2011 09:58

ocean17 · 28/03/2011 19:24

Hi Rebelyell,
Good luck for tomorrow! My appointment is on 5th April (tests/consultation). I am looking forward to it but am really intrigued about the food.
Let me know how you got and best of luck x

skinnyme · 30/03/2011 13:31

Hi all, not sure if Im doing the right thing, but just made appointment at Leeds, but not until 12 April, they are too busy. I really hate that, once I make a decision, I want to get on.

Hope I only need to do it for about 8 week - maybe 10. I have a holiday booked 27 may, so what do you do then? anyone know?

thanks

Rebelyell · 30/03/2011 21:50

@ ocean17 thank you for your good luck wishes! It went really well and i have provisionally booked to start on 5 April (with 1st treatment as well)just pending outcome of bloods. Not as undignified as I thought it might be given some of the comments on here! Good luck with your appointment. I will message you some info x

SmileyMylee · 30/03/2011 22:13

Just wanted to wish you all good luck on Alizonne. I lost 8 stones about 15 months ago and have more or less managed to keep it off. The diet does work and completely changed my life.

The skin tightening did work and I didn't have all the loose skin around my arms and thighs that I was expecting. But admittedly I could do with a bit of a tummy tuck but possibly exercise could help.

Regarding holidays. You can either stick to the diet (take the sachets with you), go completely off the diet (not recommended) or do phase 2. This involves having 4 sachets and 1 'proper meal' of say grilled chicken and salad or vegetables. You will still lose weight with this. If you break the diet, you will come out of ketosis and as well as losing the week you have not been dieting, you will also lose the 4 / 5 days to get back into ketosis. I did this twice - the first time was okay, but the second time I struggled to get back into the mindset for the diet.

Anyway - good luck to all of you starting out.

skinnyme · 31/03/2011 10:43

Thanks for the info. I really hope I am well on my way by then as I will have had 6 weeks on the programme and I have about 3 stone to lose.

Although I am obviously doing this, my biggest concern is about not eating real food and the side affects of the sachets. However, it is only for a short time and hopefully the benefits will out weigh the negatives.

christinechristine · 31/03/2011 21:13

hi
everyone and congs on loosing weight!
am thinkin of going to alizone
But concerned i may put on more weight once off theses products, would appreciate if anyone can give me feedbak on their weightloss and how long they maintained for?

  1. i wanted to know wether the machines used are painful in therapy and how fast the results seen from therapy in skin tightening, 2)how long are machine sessions 3)did any of you get saggy skin despite the therapy machines. 3)I have 2 stones to loose most seems my mid body carries it lolz4 plz someone answers these questions am going to attend leeds
SmileyMylee · 31/03/2011 22:44

Christine,

as I said I have maintained for 15 months and my DH for 19. It hasn't been easy - when I first came off I went back to how I used to eat and just put weight back on. However after all that hard work I wasn't going to be beaten. I lost the 5 / 6 pounds and then started to cut back. Now I eat sensibly during the week, salads, grilled meat, no alcohol etc, but at weekends I eat what I want. If I put a couple of pounds on, I just cut back a little for a couple of weeks. I don't deny myself anything, but I am more moderate - 1 glass of wine, not the whole bottle!

Machines are not painful, although I did find the ultrasound a bit itchy.

Not really saggy skin, must shrunk back easily. I do need a tummy tuck, but that may be because I have had 4 children and I did have 8 stones to lose. 2 stones shouldn't be an issue for loose skin.

skinnyme · 04/04/2011 19:30

Hi is alizonne very low calorie ? Will it slow my metabolism right down ? I am worried that when finished I will only be able to have very few calories before I put on weight?

allergictosoya · 17/04/2011 19:51

Is there any options for the meals, I am Soya intolerant ? Even a small amount makes me vomit really bad. I am interested in the ultrasound treatments.

summergirl123 · 08/05/2011 18:33

Modchester · 10/05/2011 11:16

I am thinking of doing alizonne in cheshire, how easy is it to get the meal options you like and do you have to pay extra for them?

Gem194 · 12/05/2011 09:42

hi all,

this is my first week and already quiet bored of what i'm eating - but i can already see the results. have 8 1/2 stone to loose so hopefully the half will be done this week.

getting dizzy when i haven't had a sachet in the 'window' but getting on with everyday life ok. i recommend trying the assortment boxes for your first 2 weeks, as your'll have some more variety.

treaments - think of them as pampering! sometime to yourself! hoovering is strange, but i'm sure you get used to that!

i'm at the Birmingham clinic - i have seen anyone else on this forum from that clinic please make yourselves know!

good luck everybody and i'll keep you posted on actual results xx

summergirl123 · 12/05/2011 18:03

Please do keep us posted Gem194 ,i have my doctorsappointment monday hopefully i can start at some point next week.Do you feel hungray? How long did they say it will take you and what are you eating? Are you going to exercise?

Gem194 · 23/05/2011 15:11

i have about 8 1/2 stone to lose so got a long way to go, i know i won't lose those amount each week but should be finished early in the new year.

Gem194 · 03/06/2011 09:27

hi all,

been on alizonne for just under 4 weeks and have lost 1 stone 1 lb!!! yeah. please post your results

choclate · 23/06/2011 00:48

hello Gem194 Congrats on u r loosing weight. can u say me how much does it cost for bloods and every week for the treatment and as well for the food...

Thanks in advance.

supermummmy · 24/06/2011 12:35

hello every one i go for my bloods on the 9th of july and am very excited i refuse to diet now as i realize that the alizonne diet is a complete change of life after you start the diet and finish it you have to look at food differently and work hard at staying with in the healthy weight range. I will be going to london so am really looking forward to it.

supermummmy · 24/06/2011 12:36

Must say that i am ok now as i got so much information off here.

Gem194 · 24/06/2011 16:06

hi choclate,

well brace yourselves - its not a cheap option...

intial bloods are more - i forget, but you need bloods every 4 weeks = £25

food is £18 per box will give you 7 dinners except for the pasta (6) so you need 5 boxes a week - but trust me you need variation so an extra box every few weeks just for a change

the treatments are £120 (single treatment) once a week,

the pills are vary - but you will need salt (£14) and quinton (£18) every couple of weeks.

all in all - its about £1000 per month!

i honestly believe its worth it, i've lost 2 stone in 6-7 weeks including 1 weekend when i feel off the wagon at a wedding!!

good luck x

choclate · 03/07/2011 12:00
