Just seen this advertised in National Press.

Has anyone ever tried it?

Is it pricey?

More to the point, Does it really work?

I'm intrigued..... I had never heard of this programme before...

Hi All,

I have been doing a great deal of research for the Allizonne diet and will be booking my consultation in the next couple of weeks. I have some questions if anyone can help:

1.Has anyone used the Court House Clinics in Brentwood on this site? I would like to hear some reviews please.

  1. How do they prefer payment? Do they debit you every week or ask that you pay for the full treatment upfront?
  2. How much is it each week? I know the bloods are £95 and the initial appointment is £85 with the doctor. What is it thereafter?
4.Has anyone struggled to reach their target weight on this diet?

Sorry for all the questions just want a bit of clarification from the tried and tested.

Thanks

Hello xbella91x............... I go to Brentwood! (at last some one local!!!! LOL)
The girls are lovely in there.
You pay as you go, it will vary from week to week, depending on how many boxes of sachets you buy, if you need to top up on vitamins, blood tests, appointments with Dr Dan.

Last week my bill was over £300 as I had 2 treatments, bloods, Dr's appointment and my sachets. while other weeks its been £190 or up to £250 as some weeks i stock up on extra sachets so that i get more choice.

Maybe see you in there one day!

Do you live near Brentwood?

Hi Salisco - do you notice a larger weight loss post 2 treatments in the week?

Completed 1 month and have lost in all 11.8 lbs. Weight loss on a weekly basis can be really slow and last week I lost just under 1 lb. I mean how disheartening is that.

I too have no craving for alcohol but would kill for a piece of toast. Have got the bread mix. Has anyone tried it. If yes, pls let me know how to make it. Thanks

sailsclo · 03/03/2010 11:35

Morning Anju72,
My next visit to the clinic is tomorrow so will let you know the official weighing! however, each week I weigh myself on my digital scales and keep my readings seperate to the clinic reading, although so far if my scales have said say 2lb lighter the clinics have also said 2lb lighter. I weighed myself this morning before water aerobics and it says 5lb lighter!!!! so lets hope the clinic says the same tomorrow.

My first week was really good, I think it was 8lb but EVERY week since its only been 2.2lb I did complain a few times as to me 2lb a week is not what i signed up for! I have never dieted before (never needed to pre-kids!) but didnt join any clubs sooner as I knew i wouldnt be happy if i only lost 2lb a week, thats why i joined alizonne as thought i would see fast results! if my scales are right and i have lost a lot this week, i may see if i can have extra treatment again tomorrow.

I'm about to start week 7 and only now am i sarting to see the difference, for instance I can pull my jeans down without opneing the button.

I havent tried the bread but if its nice please let me know.

i did crave toast the other day when i did some for the kids, so cut the corner off and had that, but literally was just the corner, about 1cm wide at the base and about 1cm in length! that was enough just to have the taste and to be honest, it smelt better than it tasted!!!!!
Ive found if theres some thing that i really want its easier to just get the taste of it then im ok and dont want it any more! does that make sense?

Hi Anju

i understand how demoralising slow weight loss can be - i lost 0.9kg last and put on 0.2kg this week. I was sooooo fed up. But i didnt name myself resolved for nothing.
Yet my clothes are much much looser and i can feel bones which have been hidden for the last few years!!!
Hopefully when i go on Friday the weight loss registers. It is important that i dont give up i only have 7 kilos to go.

resolved · 03/03/2010 11:48

HI Sailsclo can you just ask for extra treatments? I know that i would benefit probably from an extra treatment - how does it work?
You are right about tasting things - i have decided that is the way to go. As you say, things smell tastier than the reality, just a crumb soon puts you right!!

sailsclo · 03/03/2010 12:05

it depends on how busy your clinic is last week they had a spare 15 minute slot after me, so she had time to give me extra ultrasound (£90) you dont need extra of the other machine just the ultrasound. i thought id wait and see how my weigh in goes before i commit to another £90 this week!!!

my clinic only has one lot of the ultra sound pads, but if your clinic has more than one then maybe they can give you 2 lots at the same time (not sure but worth asking!)

resolved · 03/03/2010 12:52

Thanks sailsclo i will ask when i am there on friday. How much do you have to lose? I also went there to lose quicker.

anju72 · 03/03/2010 14:50

How many ultrasound pads do they put on you. They put 6 on my tummy. There is no more place for them to put any more for double the dose.

Yes pls let me know if you do see 5lb reduction tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

sailsclo · 03/03/2010 16:18

Oh im not sure i'll try to remember to count tomorrow as shes popping them on!!
I usually have it done on my tummy and last weeks extra sesh was on my thighs, she also wants to do it on my bum! (need a few more than 6 for that though!!! LOL)

I had 6 stone to shift when i started!

resolved · 04/03/2010 11:50

sailsclo - how much have you got to go?

resolved · 04/03/2010 11:52

how did you get on today? i am doing really well at the moment - or at least i feel i am. the test will be tomorrow at the weigh in!!

sailsclo · 05/03/2010 08:48

OH.... I posted on here last night and this morning its gone!!! [shocked]

i lost 4.5lb this week and thats after double treatment.

On 1st Jan I was 14.3, started this on the 21st Jan and im now 12.9 and id like to get down to pre-children/pre-stroke weight any thing between 8 and 8.5 would make me happier.......might be bankrupt first though!!!

sailsclo · 05/03/2010 08:57

the machine has 8 pads on it.

if you have a doouble dose they will place them on another part of your body (thighs, bum etc)after you have had your first one, so your theres for an extra 20 mins.

they didnt have time to give me 2 treatments yesterday but im down for double next week.

well done resolved, glad you feel you are doing well. whens your next weigh in? x

sailsclo · 05/03/2010 08:58

oh sorry about all the spelling mistakes, im very tired!!

resolved · 05/03/2010 21:45

resolved · 07/03/2010 10:38

resolved · 07/03/2010 12:45

oh....and finally, you know those horrid quinton sea water things? Well drop them into a small amount of sparkling water and you can drink them back with much less effort!!

cenglish · 07/03/2010 16:10

where has my eggs gone??? ha ha, i was allowed them in phase 2 but in phase 3 ur not allowed them.

sailsclo · 09/03/2010 10:09

oh im ok with those salty drink things! its the vitamins i cant stand, i hate the smell of vitamins!

i miss eggs!!! i work with a group rescuing/rehoming battery hens, and so have a garden full of ex-batt hens, its doing me in giving eggs to all the neighbours/friends/family but not being able to eat any myself!!!
