Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT!⭐️ Slimmimg September 2025⭐️

⭐️OPEN TO ALL⭐️

Where did September go? There is a definite chill in the air some mornings now 🥶 I always feel when October is here it’s the start of the 12 week countdown to Christmas!

It’s never too late to make a change, to make a difference and feel confident in your body. To reach optimum health and vitality we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great! Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and generally eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost around 45lbs.

I’m mainly maintaining but I would like to get back into the 8’s 🤞(I briefly dipped into the 8’s last month but the scale showing 9st 1lb this morning)

Are you in😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

New members … Give it a go; it’s never too late! You'll be pleased you did 😊

@socks1107I often have a Huel for lunch on my super busy days at work where time is not on my side. I find it easy to do on these days because I'm distracted but on my home days if I have a Huel I very often feel like I haven't eaten and am searching the cupboards again an hour later. The chocolate and banana ones are my fave 😋 I do think they have helped with my overall loss trajectory.

TealSloth · 31/10/2025 08:02

Morning ladies hope your all well. My weight has not changed. But will try and make a difference week coming.

Marshmellowbunny · 31/10/2025 08:23

Ok I weighed for my official October weight this morning.
9 stone 10.6 woooo

Nearly a stone lost since the beginning of June when I was 10 stone 9.6

It's been very slow going and at times I thought it was pointless because of my moods but today I'm done being a miser and I'm going to be positive about things! This is a pretty good loss (even if it took a while) and my medication doesn't seem to have had an affect 🤞🏻 so that's good.

5.6lbs to go by January! But with a holiday and Christmas in there who knows what will happen?

Ah well. I'm just glad that I stuck with it. At times I was tempted to just give up and think life's too short...but I'm exactly where I would have been but nearly a stone down! Positive times!

Hope your weigh ins go okay today for those of you doing your October weigh in today!

Happy November for tomorrow everyone 🩷

Morning! Heading into the last weekend of half term - can’t believe how it’s vanished!

We’re back into town again for the day so I should get some steps in. Managed a body project work out and a walk yesterday, but today is going to be a bit busier. Living on sandwiches way too much with all the days out!

TC2023 · 31/10/2025 08:43

Hi everyone, happy Halloween.

This weeks weight 72.5kg.

SW: 74kg
TW: 65kg

1.5kg lost in October!! I am happy enough with that as it took me a while to get going this month but motivation is high now to try lose more in November. Maybe 2kg will be my goal? I think that is realistic.

Hope everyone has a nice Halloween weekend.

PatienceOfEngels · 31/10/2025 09:28

After weighing myself for WOW and losing half a kilo, after dinner out yesterday I've put on 1.3kg! Had. Ate a very healthy vegetarian meal with dessert, but did eat later than usual and had 3 non-alcoholic drinks (so lots of sugar...and I also usually stop drinking anything at 8pm) Not weighing myself again for a few days to let everything calm down I think!

PersistentRain · 31/10/2025 11:04

1.8kg off in October. Just have to accept the slowness I suppose. I’m 82.8kg today, I was 82.6kg the other day. I’m just desperate to be in the 70s. Which I might make by the end of the month.

I find that if I eat late, even something healthy, it screws up my loss badly.

I end October having lost 1/2lb. No words really.
nothing lost since August 29th.

well done to everyone for loosing, sts or gaining and just for being accountable and here

LemonDrizzle23 · 31/10/2025 19:43

Well between heading into town and trip or treating this evening, I’ve done over 19,000 steps. Now to not eat all the Halloween candy….

@socks1107very much a stay the same October for me too. Sucks!

Poisonwood · 31/10/2025 19:43

A good day today, yoghurt/almonds/berries for breakfast, lunch was steak, potatoes and vegetables, dinner ryvita with cheese spread, a banana and a protein mousse. Couple of lovely hours of yoga.

Plans for November…as usual try and up my fluids!

FridayNighFeeling · 31/10/2025 21:53

Hi all, just checking in, but won't weigh till Monday now. Did OK today - had one small cookie and one treat size choc.

Weekend away, so will be eating out, hopefully can find a balance. Hopefully will see a Nov thread when I'm back.

frostedshreddie · 31/10/2025 23:11

Happy Halloween Everyone!
Today has been crazy busy and I forgot to weigh in or measure!! If I use my recent WOW I have lost 3lbs in Oct. It is the same 3lbs I have repeatedly gained and lost for the last year or so but hey ho.

I'm very much hoping that I can get back and stay back in the 9s for November.

NSV - I bought 2 items from vinted, one in my usual size, and one in 2 sizes smaller. I only got the smaller item because it was cheap, I liked it and added into a bundle thinking well it will be something I can aim for. Well my usual size item has come up MASSIVE on me, and the smaller item does fit. Albeit it is a stretchy material.....🤣 And the whole female sizing systems to be a load of nonsense but let's just ignore that for now 🤫

Here's to a no nonsense November 😃 x

SO my +1.4kg in one day was not just having dinner out and eating later than usual (7pm instead of 5.30). Also started my cycle yesterday. It creeps up on me every time! So I'm not going to weigh myself again until next Wednesday.

DH was watching an old Secret Eaters program last night on TLC - has made me think a bit more about snacking. Our meals are definitely 90% healthy and homemade and I'm getting better at reducing my carb portion. It's ht little snacks/treats/drinks that sneak in.

Yesterday my meals/planned snacks/drinks were:
B - boiled egg, 1 slice rye toast with butter, 2x small coffee and milk
S - fruit/veg plate
L - pumpkin soup (no bread)
S - Greek yoghurt, dribble of coffee syrup
D - fresh tortellini with spinach and ricotta, spinach/mushrooms/garlic/cheese
Herbal tea and water

But then add the unplanned in...
-1x hot chocolate in the afternoon
-1x alcohol free beer with dinner
-chunk of cheese after dinner
-1 slice rye toast with pate in the evening

If I can work on eliminating those extras (all unnecessary - Though one Friday night beer is allowed!) then maybe I'll be on the right track and actually lose some weight.

Fellsbells · 01/11/2025 08:42

Gosh, where did October go?

Ending on a high (unfortunately it’s a high weight) I blame the Halloween sweets and half term. Must do better in November!

socks1107 · 01/11/2025 19:08

checking in for month 11! Where has the year gone.
welcome to all the new joiners however you are loosing weight!
my aim for November is break this plateau and stop moaning about it 😂
