Another Tuesday! although I won't be reporting hopefully with good news until Thursday night.

Right, also thought that starting a new thread every week for just us 3 was mad so thought we'd just have our own on going thread that makes it easier to look back on - is that OK with everyone?

Good luck everyone, I've been lurking a bit but thinking of you - I had a bad moment when my weigh-in at work said I'd gone right back up to where I started but after a few weeks I realised that that was fully clothed after lunch, rather than first thing in the morning. So this week I took a deep breath and weighed in again and I've lost four pounds since then so I've stopped panicking and am back on course. Furball how wonderful to be inspiring people!

Furball · 07/11/2008 16:54

HB-glad to see you back. you have been missed!

here's to a good week all and let the scales be kind. (smile)

Furball · 18/11/2008 20:28

1/2 lb is 1/2 lb smalline, better off than on!

I'm going for it big style again this week. all red with minimum syns, fingers crossed for thursday.

OP posts:
Smalline · 19/11/2008 11:14

My fingers & toes are crossed for you

Furball · 20/11/2008 20:09

pmsl - what were my words '1/2 lb is 1/2 lb smalline, better off than on!'

well I lost 1/2 lb not totally happy as I'd tried extra hard like last week. The SW lady (not the usual one) said look at the bigger picture, Ok you lost 1/2 lb but think you have lost 5lb in 2 weeks, now it sounds really good.

OP posts:
Smalline · 25/11/2008 13:10

Yes 5lbs in 2 weeks sounds a lot better. Well I've lost 2lbs in 3 weeks, I have to put it that way as I lost nothing this week. I was quite shocked actually, had convinced myself that I must have lost at least 2lbs after a very good week.

Furball · 25/11/2008 13:19

depressing isn't it smalline, especially when so much effort has gone in and no results.

Me this week have been a lickle piggy again. Made a christmas pud to sample before the big day gosh it's good. Dh and ds don't like anything nutty or with alcohol so this is bril. nice with cream

OP posts:
Smalline · 27/11/2008 13:45

I didn't realise that christmas puds were so easy to make Furball, might have a go myself. Good luck for tonight

tortoise · 27/11/2008 13:47

Haven't posted here for ages!
Seem to be staying around the 11st 8lbs mark.
Am having my gall bladder removed on the 9th Dec all being well!
Hope everyone is ok?

Furball · 27/11/2008 16:05

twas very easy smalline don't forget to make a taster one first like me to make sure you'll like it

oh tortoise sounds painful - good luck with it, hopefully you'll lose abit with the op as alot of peoples are full of grit and stones which must weigh quite abit!

OP posts:
tortoise · 27/11/2008 16:35

Furball! I hadn't thought of that lol!

Furball · 27/11/2008 19:10

2 lbs on but went today with jeans (no belt though) on and after tea. (normally have lightweight trousers which are 2 sizes too big! and don't eat) - Set my Target = 11 stone which is 3 1/2 lb away. I'm going to try and do it for next week!

OP posts:
tortoise · 27/11/2008 19:32

Good luck Furball. I might get to 11st one day lol!

Furball · 01/12/2008 07:06

blooming heck - stuggling big time - is life going to be like this forever?

Forgotten how delicious butter is, especially on fresh home-made bread [scrummy] it's got to be one of the best tastes in the world!

OP posts:
Smalline · 01/12/2008 14:29

Stayed the same again this week, in fact looking at my records, I have lost a grand total of 1/2lb over the last 6 weeks. I'm finding it extremely hard getting out of my lovely warm bed to exercise in the mornings, have exercised 2 times in the last 10 days, used to exercise every other day. I've got to get back into my old routine.

Hello Tortoise it's lovely to hear from you.

3.5lbs Furball, you can do it, just don't go wearing your heavy jeans to the weigh-in next time.

Furball · 03/12/2008 09:15

right - I've made the decision to stop and go back again after christmas. I know it sounds abit weak, but I have already had a couple and still have to go to 4 or 5 'dos' and then there is christmas itself. and I don't want to be a) paying to put weight on as there is no way I can loose as I can't be strict enough and b) I want to enjoy without guilt a few naughties.

I am allowing myself around 1/2 stone on and will start fresh faced back in january.

It doesn't help that christmas day and new years day fall on weigh in days so classes will be disjointed anyway.

I'm also going to try and head for the fruit bowl rather than the chocolate tin over the festive period but when confronted with the tin we'll see.

I just feel I've been running on the spot since the summer so a break will do me and my head good.

OP posts:
Furball · 03/12/2008 09:18

huge sympathies with you smalline, it's so desponding isn't it?

OP posts:
Smalline · 03/12/2008 21:10

Ooh Furball you are brave.

I would absolutely love to stay the same over christmas, haven't got as many 'dos' as you to attend. It's just that I don't want a repeat of summer, it took me about 8 weeks to lose the weight I put on over my 1 week summer holiday, that was only 4.5lbs. I'm lucky that my meetings will be just before and after christmas, so I'm hoping that will help me.

Smalline · 08/12/2008 14:31

1lb off this week
